Etude House Make Up - Eyes Review: Make Up

Review: Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer

Etude House products are not as expensive as I think it is. It is actually quite affordable and good too. I got to know that they have a really great eye primer and so I went to their outlet in Sunway Pyramid 2 weeks before CNY and they have been out of stock since last year. Their helpful BA asked if I would want to write down my contact and of course I did. Within a week after my visit they contacted me back to inform me that Proof 10 Eye Primer is back in stock! This baby is retailing at RM26.90.

Info obtained from their website:-
Proof 10 Eye Primer supplies coverage to eyelids and around the eyes to enhance eye shadow color and integrity for a longer lasting, Perfect 10 look.

Vol 10g (0.35 oz.)

Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer comes in a small and tall attractive blue box full with Korean wordings on it.

It claimed that your eyeshadow/eyeliners etc will last for 24 hours and a perfect 10 look!

This logo is suppose to mean that the primer lock in the eyeshadow for longer wear?

The bottle is very very small and the applicator is very very long.

The applicator is a sponge-like and the content is quite watery but not too watery. It is more watery than my ELF Eye Primer and easier to apply than ELF too.

The content on the back of my hand. The colour is light beige and turns transparent after spreading it.

It claimed that the primer will enhance eyeshadow colour and I have to agree with it. On my first day of using this primer, I have compliments from my colleagues that I looked different and my eyeshadow look natural. I used to have oil on my lids after a few hours and my eyeshadow will be cakey on the crease! Here’s a comparison of with and without using the eye primer on my favourite purple eyeshadow. As you can see the one on the left (without) is not as intense as the one on the right (with). Eyeshadow colour seems to “pop-out” and looks more intense. I even saved time applying eyeshadow as repeated application is at minimal now.

Here’s the test result from after application to end of the day before I took off my makeup.

After application around 11am. The sun is blaring hot in the morning.

Before I took off my makeup around 8pm. As you can see from below pictures. . .my eyeshadow and eyeliner is pretty much still the same as in the morning. Not different at all. I couldn’t capture the light pink eyeshadow at the inner corner of my eyelid but it’s still there.

I think I’ve found my Holy Grail Eye Primer!

Next:- Good eyeshadow with cheap price tag. I’ll expose one of the best eyeshadow that I use more than others.
