China Glaze Event

China Glaze / Seche Malaysia Blogger Launch Event

A few weeks ago I was approached by the beautiful Marsha of China Glaze Malaysia on a possibility of doing a product review for Street Love and the conversation went bigger till organizing a blogger gathering. It’s always easy to deal with Marsha as both of us are always on the same page and we sort of agreed immediately. She will prepare the products and I will get her the bloggers. As China Glaze is having a promotion at F1 Isetan KLCC from 1st June to 14th June, I set the date and time to be on the 2nd June 11am (not knowing it’s YDP Agong’s Birthday!).

The bloggers I chose is basically the blogger for the blogs I read daily. I’m pretty happy when almost all of them RSVP their attendance. Initially Marsha only wanted 10 bloggers. On the day that I was suppose to email the list to Marsha, I still receive RSVP emails and I have 14 bloggers in total. As the place is very very small Marsha told me that she couldn’t accept anymore than 14 attendees. I need to reject a few late RSVP and blogger’s friend which is hard for me. But hey, hope they understand that I’m just helping so I don’t make the call 🙂

I promised Marsha that I’d go early to help so I reached KLCC around 10am. Did some shopping at Watsons and bring the stuff back to the car. By the time I walk to China Glaze event it’s already 10.30am. My help wasn’t needed as Marsha had prepared everything and she told me to walk around for a bit. I returned 5 mins before 11am and I saw Lyn, Yvonne and Juan at the registration counter. Upon registration we were given a goodie bag and a complimentary manicure redemption card.

This is Marsha. The person who’s handling China Glaze Malaysia.

Some of the China Glaze nail polishes available. There’s many more which you need to explore yourself at Isetan KLCC or Isetan 1 Utama ya.

Today is also the exclusive preview for PRISMATIC range! This is not on sale yet but the stocks is arriving soon. We all get the first look of the new range and we get to try them on too.

The Hunger Games collection.

Bloggers enjoying their complimentary manicure! By the time you know everyone start to snap pictures of this group.

Around 11.40am Marsha officiated the event with a short introduction of China Glaze. Many people thought China Glaze is from China. In fact China Glaze is from US. Did you know the name China Glaze is not related to the country China at all? Marsha said the name came when “china clay” were added in the nail polish as nail hardener and shine thus the name China Glaze came along. Now you know 🙂

I had my manicure after most of the bloggers left. My current OPI Save Me were removed and replaced with PRISMATIC #Liquid Crystal. Absolutely gorgeous!

PRISMATIC Limited Edition range comes in 6 shades. It’s one of a kind nail polish that combines glitter and holographic particles to create the ultimate eye-catching, 3-dimensional manicure! The inspiration came by the colours formed by the refraction of light through a prism.

Ray-diant – Greenish-gold shimmer filled with specks of silver, pink, green, orange and blue
Polarized – Metallic silver sheen sprinkled with yellow, pink, orange and green glitter
Liquid Crystal – Bright blue holographic with a purple tint, and dusted with silver, gold, green, pink and orange
Prism – Grape purple holographic gleams with a pink shimmer and glitters with pieces of pink, blue, green, orange, silver and gold
Optical Illusion – Aqua green glimmers with a hint of purple, filled with pink, yellow, silver, orange and green flecks
Full Spectrum – Baby pink bursts into holographic magenta to party with silver, gold, blue, pink and green particles

China Glaze Prismatic will be available in June 2012 at Isetan 1Utama & Isetan KLCC.
