Event KOSÉ

KOSÉ Save The Blue Project Media Event

Last Thursday KOSÉ Malaysia held a meaningful event at Mid Valley Centre Court called Save The Blue Project.

Not long after the event started, Mr. Julian of Reef Check Malaysia gave an opening speech.

Save The Blue Project is an environmental initiative by KOSÉ to protect the world’s fast depleting coral reefs. Beginning with the corals reefs off the Japanese island of Okinawa, the Save The Blue project now expands to Malaysia.

Amy Mastura is the brand ambasador for 2 years in a row. She was invited to the stage to share with everyone her experience of planting coral at Okinawa Japan. I was amazed with her determination and interest in saving the depleting coral reefs. And she looks great!

Let me share with you what is Save The Blue Project about.

Empty nursery frames is placed at the bottom of the sea.

Here you can see dive centre staff is being taught how to plant the coral onto the frames.

The process of planting is not as easy as you think as it’s at the far bottom below in the sea.

This is how the frames looks like once all the baby coral is “planted”.

Here is how you can do your part to help.

For every purchase of Save the Blue Limited Edition SEKKISEI Lotion (360ml) and SEKKISEI Travel Set – (From 01 June to 31 July 2012 while stocks last) and Save the Blue Limited Edition Infinity Lotion Concentrate 14- I (160ml) and Infinity Lotion Concentrate 14- II (160ml) – From End of Sept to End of Nov 2012 while stocks last , KOSÉ will donate part of the proceeds to the research, education and conservation efforts of Malaysia’s coral reefs.
