3 weeks ago I had some time off before starting a new job so I looked through my LENNART drawer to find a bright nail polish and I decided on China Glaze #Sass In A Glass which I’ve gotten from recent China Glaze blogger event.
Sass In A Glass is a bright dark pink with a hint of shimmers. The sun was glaring on the day I took the picture before therefore it looked slightly red. Maybe because it’s really dark pink which resulted in reddish picture.
What makes me wanting to get this color is because I’ve always into shimmers. And I wanted a really dark pink. I fell in love with this immediately when I lay my eyes on it.
As usual, I applied Seche Clear Crystal Clear Base Coat first before applying Sass In A Glass. I only applied 1 coat and I top it off with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. Sass In A Glass is very glossy on it’s own. With a layer of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, the shine is even more intense. I love it!
From my past experience with China Glaze, there are certain collection / range that only need 1 coat due to the creamier formula. However to my surprise Sass In A Bottle is not thick and creamy at all! Just scroll up to picture #2 to see. This nail lacquer can also be applied 2 coat. I choose not to as I think it would be thick if I add in a layer of top coat.
The color is absolutely striking. Normally I would be spotted with a different nail lacquer shade on my toe nails but this time I did something which I never did before. I applied the same color to my toe nails 🙂
The nail lacquer last for 2 weeks on my hand before it started to chip at the tip and last till to date on my toe nails. That’s near to 4 weeks! P/S: Don’t worry, it’s coming off tomorrow 🙂
What can I say? I like the color, the shimmers in it and the new formula which dries up much more quicker than old formula. And it look superbly good on both hand and toe nails. Try it!
