When I bought a bottle of Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum and implemented the iconic brown bottle into my skin care regime, I can’t help but to grab a jar of Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye as well. Let’s just refer to this brown jar as ANR Eye okay?
ANR Eye is at 15ml per jar and it’s retailing for RM200. Slightly more expensive than Clarins from the aspect of price and content ml. However to me expensive or not will need to be justified with the efficiency of the product. Let’s see if RM200 for this brown jar is worth it aight!
Each ANR eye comes with an angled applicator. This angled applicator is more like a “dipper”. The oval round tip is to be dipped into the jar before dotting 3 dots under eye and spread with finger tip. As soon as you unscrew the cap, you’d find a white plastic separater. I couldn’t stress enough how important this is for hygiene and to maintain the content freshness. Good job Estée Lauder!
The content may be 15ml but it’s filled till the top of the jar.
I’d normally use the angled applicator to extract the content out from the jar. I don’t like dipping my finger in it. I find that the applicator is very useful. Now I understand why is the design is such a way. It’s angled so that you can reach deep inner corner of the jar. The oval round tip is for you to dot the product on your under eye. Brilliant isn’t it?
Here is how ANR Eye looks like. It’s light peach color gel and almost colorless on skin.
ANR Eye although is in gel form but it’s not sticky at all. It absorbed almost immediately after spreading and it leaves this silky surface which I think is good as eye primer or base too. It kept my eye well moisturized as well. In fact I notice most Estée Lauder serum leaves a silky or velvety surface after application. I like the formulation as it doesn’t makes my skin oily. However I don’t suggest you over-using this. Just a little will do. I can’t find a word to describe the scent though. It’s nothing like ANR serum but it certainly doesn’t smell bad. The scent fades away after application.
The big question. Does it work for me. For me I love it. I’m hooked to ANR Eye until I hit the center of the jar before I realized I need to finish up my Clarins so I stop using it during the day. With day and night usage I notice a more visible difference. Once I changed it to night time only the result subsided a bit. I do hope to get back full force on this.
Here’s the before and after picture. There’s even immediate result right after application.
1) A little goes a long way so this 15ml jar will last you months!
2) Immediate result after application. With day and night usage will see a more visible result.
3) Colorless, scent fade immediately after application.
4) Comes with an angled applicator.
5) Hydrating.
6) Non sticky and oily

I love this eye cream too! I still remember that when I was in high school, my mum and I went to Metrojaya bringing along the ANR eye cream newspaper clipping to the EL counter to purchase this eye cream for my mum >.< Those were the days when BAs were generally proud and snobbish, service comes expensive those days lol. For someone like me who started on proper skincare regime late, I love this eye cream that came as GWP when I first bought my EL skincare set. The effect is almost immediate like you said! For me, the next day, I noticed that my eyes were less puffy and the dark circle underneath my eyes were toned down a lot. I like the texture and how easily the eye cream gets absorbed. Lol, I thought the spatula was unique and was baffled on which end to use to dip into the bottle 🙂 But since I am using the GWP, I didn’t have a proper spatula like the one that came with the normal packaging. All in all, I would say this product is a HL alongside the ANR serum! Will stock up from duty free when I get the chance to travel.
Those days it’s all about branded or not branded. Nowadays is about customer service 🙂
I have the same effect as you when I started using this eye cream diligently. No worries on the spatula. There’s an instruction leaflet hehe. Which is how I found out how to use the spatula with the eye cream 🙂

I have been using the Lancome Genefique serum and eye cream but I think my skin is getting used to them already so the results are not that apparent anymore. I have heard lots of good things about the Estee Lauder ANR series and I am so impressed by the visible results!! Can’t wait for me to finish my current eye cream and serum so I can try this out.

I understand what you mean. Certain skin care is the same on me too but so far not Clarins and Estee Lauder :). Once you’ve tried ANR repairing serum, you’d keep buying and buying. By far it’s the best repairing serum so far. I haven’t tried Khiel’s one yet but I heard it’s oily.
Do look out for Estee Lauder GWP. They gave out a generous 5ml jar in their GWP set :). Totally worthy. Or you can try asking the BA for one when you purchase ANR serum. I think they’ll give you.
i got 3-pcs gifto when I purchased the EL pore minimizing serum. and thats include this ANR eye serum 5ml xD happyyyyyyy. and then, few days ago i just went to got my welcome gift from EL, another 5ml of ANR eye serum is in 🙂 and ANR serum 7ml.
haven try the eye serum yet cz now is on astalift, trial. after finish it will try the EL one. hope i get the best result like urs too 😀 between fiona do you use clarins eye serum too? use together with EL one?

I do use Clarins eye serum. I wrote in the post on that too. I don’t mix with EL. Just separate day & night usage.

As for Clarins, yes their best buy set is always sold out very fast. If you already knew when to buy it, just call your preferred counter and make a reservation. I always do that if I can’t make it due to work. Just drop by to pay for it when you can. As long as you don’t FFK hehehe 🙂
