Clarins Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Cleanser

Review: Clarins Purifying Cleansing Gel With Hamamelis is the One Cleanser I Hope Clarins Bring Back

This is the last tube in my stash that I’ve been saving as it has been discontinued. I’ve taken a few picture of this last month so I thought I should revive the review.

One of my favourite cleansing gel is definitely the Clarins Purifying Cleansing Gel With Hamamelis from Truly Matte Set which I hauled in June 2011. This is not a full size product but it sure do look like a full size to me. A full size tube is 125ml retailing at RM92. This on the other hand is 75ml which makes it valued at RM55.20. Worthy!

Here is some info from Clarins Malaysia website.

Repeat this movement 5 to 6 times. – Rinse well with cool water in the morning & warm water at night, then apply Toning Lotion with Iris.

Simple, short and sweet instruction on the back of the tube. The tube is just like any ordinary cleanser or facial foam. Although the one I have is from a best buy set, however the cap is very very strong and sturdy which I appreciate it very much. The cap is secured with a shrink wrap which means it’s new, fresh and unopen. Another thing which I like from Clarins.

Oppss! Sorry for the runaway gel! I wanted to get a clear picture on the colour so I have no choice but to tilt my palm :)The content is of course in gel form. It’s quite watery so one must be extra careful when squeezing the content out from the tube otherwise it’d be very messy at the cap and not to mention, wastage.

Look at that foam! Nothing excites me more than washing face with this.As you can see, the gel is transparent but with a hint of green. Just like green tea lol. I would normally just squeeze a 10cent to my palm and that 10cent alone can lathers up pretty good. Enough for the whole face.

I’ve been using this for more than a month now and it’s still a lot left. You don’t need to squeeza a lot cause as mention above, the gel could lathers pretty good. So one tube could really last you for months! Many people thought cleansing gel or foam specially for oily/acne skin would dries up the skin after cleansing. I can guarantee you NOT this one. This cleansing gel doesn’t strip your skin’s natural oil. So you don’t feel that dry pulling sensation. All you feel is clean and fresh. Not to mention. . .the scent of this cleansing gel is heavenly divine!

Pros:
1) Cleanses skin perfectly without stripping skin’s natural oil.
2) Smells heavenly divine!
3) One tube could last very long so it’s really worth it!

Cons:
1) The gel is quite watery so must be extra careful not to squeeze too much out to prevent wastage.

Clarins Purifying Cleansing Gel With Hamamelis is no longer available at Clarins counter as it has been discontinued.
Price: RM92 for 125ml
