Review: Skin Care Sampar Skin Care - Eye Care

Review: I Turn to Sampar Glamour Shot Eyes for a 1-Minute Solution

I don’t have major dark circle problem or eye bag *thank GOD* but I do have fine lines on the inner corner of my eyes due to dehydration. If I skip my eye cream then you’d see horrible fine lines visibly appearing and it’s even more visible once I put on makeup as makeup tend to make the area around my eyes even more dehydrated. So when typical skin care BA told me to apply just a small pea size of eye cream I find myself going against the instruction. I mean what can the small lil eye cream do for my eyes right?

Mid of last week I visited Sampar Malaysia office to get to know the brand and products upclose and personal. I like this kind of personal brand introduction as I get to hands on with product testing in a private area as well as asking all the questions that I have with me. Initially I wanted to do a brand introduction first before reviewing a Sampar product but due to some reason I’m gonna reverse the cycle ya. Will do brand introduction on Sampar when I visited their counter soon. Stay tune on that too.

I was given a handful of samples for review and I chose Sampar Glamour Shot Eyes for my first review as I DESPERATELY NEEDED A FIX for the fine lines around my eyes! I don’t normally review samples but Sampar is very different. You don’t need a full size to try for 2 weeks before writing a proper reivew. With Sampar Glamour Shot Eyes you only need 1-minute. Yes 1 minute!

In 1 minute, this multi-action glamour revealer erases dark circles, brightens the dark areas around the eyes and blurs under-eye wrinkles and fine lines. Which is why I strapped my sample to my phone and carry it everywhere with me. Whenever I think that I need a quick fix to my fine lines I just whisk my phone out and there’s my Glamour Shot Eyes. Plus it’s a cute and unique phone accessory don’t ya think so? 😉

Sampar Glamour Shot Eyes comes with a sponge applicator. I find that the applicator is very useful in getting into deep corner around the eye area before tapping the product with our finger to even the product out. And it deposited the right amount of product from the sponge to the eye.

The product is a milky white cream which quickly absorbed  into the skin immediately after application. My advice is to work fast and quickly tap the excess. However I do need to warn you about the smell. Although not strong but I can still smell something chemical. You won’t smell anything of course as you apply the product on your eyes not your nose unless you put the product close to your nose (like me) and take a sniff. P/S: I like to smell my skin care lol!

Before we get to the Before and After picture, let me tell you why I like this product very much. It’s formula enriched in hyaluronic acid offers a long-term and lasting anti-wrinkles action. Result shows that dark circles are reduced immediately after application for 77% of users, wrinkles are decreased by 15% and eye puffiness is decreased by 20% after 4 weeks of use. Sounds like something that I could use!

How I apply this product is I would first use the applicator to apply and spread below my eyes. Then quickly use my fingertip to tap until it’s absorbed. This routine is to be done after my usual eye care. Then apply other skin care and makeup as usual. However there’s a downside. I find that after applying Glamour Shot Eyes my liquid foundation became cakey around the eyes. It is impossible to use it under makeup but if I dust my face with only loose powder then it’s not a problem. Glamour Shot Eyes sort of mattified the area that was applied thus making the liquid foundation almost impossible to be spread. Maybe it’s a good idea to skip liquid foundation around the eyes as my eyes are terribly dehydrated.

Anyway. I’m excited to show you my Before and After of using Sampar Glamour Shot Eyes. I went speechless myself after comparing both pictures. Like I said earlier I don’t have major dark circle or eye bag problem. I only have fine lines which you can see it’s dramatically reduced! The area which I applied looked more matte too making the appearance lesser fine lines.

Below is the ingredient list for those that are interested:

MIB Complex helps eliminate puffiness and dark circles, thanks to its anti-oedematous, anti-inflammatory and veinotonic properties. HQA Microlens, newest generation of soft focus, fill in furrows and lines so that light is reflected off the skin homogeneously, visually erasing imperfections and illuminating the eye area. Oat Extract provides an optimal and immediate lifting effect. Encapsulated Hyaluronic Acid enables targeting of wrinkles and fine lines from within and plumps the eye contour for a long-term anti-wrinkles action. • I think I would definitely benefit from something like that! However, I don’t believe they ship to Europe so I should try to find something similar here 😮
