Linden Leaves

Review: Linden Leaves Ginger Peach Fragrance Diffuser – Fragrance for the space

Many of you are familiar with fragrance diffuser but not me. I’m a total noob. I never get curious on what it is or what it does. You can say I’m too obsess with the beauty stuff :). Linden Leaves are the only brand that trigger my sense of interest. Simply because their range of product is really simple and interesting too.

My second Linden Leaves product is Ginger Peach Fragrance Diffuser. I chose this mainly because I desperately needed a good night sleep. I haven’t disclose here before that I’m a light sleeper. I don’t get deep sleep like other people. I’m half sleep and half awake. It happened to me because I think and worry too much. Everyday I woke up with headache, neck ache and back ache. I can tell you it’s very very touch having a sleep like that.

Will this help me? Let’s see.

The box packaging is cool. The cardboard box is thick therefore it will protect your glass diffuser bottle. There’s a window for you to see the inside too.

Linden Leaves Fragrance Diffuser contain unique fragrant oil blends to offer a sense of ambience and delight to your home or office. It doesn’t matter where you want to put it, it will lightly fragrancing your room for many months with a refreshing infusion of subtle fragrance.

Preparing for the first time use is very simple. Simply remove the silver cap, add rattan sticks in and close the opening with a white metal collar that was provided. For small spaces or for a less intense fragrance, add less diffuser sticks. To intensify or refresh the fragrance, you can either add more rattan sticks or rotate the rattan sticks in the bottle, exposing the fully saturated ends to the air. Even this noob have no problem with it 🙂

The whole package comes with a 200ml fragrance bottle of course, 7 rattan sticks and a white metal collar. The description on the box said it comes with 9 rattan sticks but I only get 7 in mine. No biggie since I won’t be using all :). Everything is securely tucked inside the box which was enforced with 2 layers of inner cardboard making the bottle stay in place at all time.

As mentioned earlier…you need not use all rattan stick at the same time. If you’ve noticed earlier I only used 4 rattan sticks. Reason being I wouldn’t want to overly fragrance my room which might or might not give me reverse effect so after considering for a few second I settled with just 4 sticks.

This glass bottle is huge! At 200ml of content this will lasts for ages! Okay I exaggerate a bit. What I meant is this will lasts you long. I’ve put up mine since 2 weeks ago and I hardly can spot the drop of content except for those that are absorbed by the rattan sticks. Although the glass bottle is sturdy enough but I’d not suggest you to put it too near to the corner. You wouldn’t wanna drop it 🙂

The question is, what have this fragrance diffuser changed my environment? There is actually. On my first night I was getting excited and curious if this can help me sleep better. Maybe I was too stressed up and have high hope on this. So the answer is no. Why? That’s because I had coffee around 7.30pm LOL! So my experiment on the first night failed. Put sleep aside…my room smells peachy and I like it. Everyone that pass by my room door are curious what smell is that. All my pillows (I have 11 of that on the bed), bed sheet, plushies smells like a peach :). No more smelly room lol!

Following that day I felt more relax and fell asleep easily than usual. I woke up to a nice, soothing peachy scent in the morning everyday and it’s quite pleasant. After getting used to the new scent in my room a week after putting up the diffuser…I had numerous deep sleep nights. I suppose the scent calms me down a lot and told my brain to stop thinking and go to sleep. I have this bad habit of playing with the apps on my phone on the bed until way pass 12am. Ever since I had Linden Leaves Ginger Peach Fragrance Diffuser in my room, my eyes felt heavy and that makes me sleepy. So now I’m adjusting to a new routine at night which is pat on the skin care > jump on the bed > put the phone silent > sleep.

What have Linden Leaves Ginger Peach Fragrance Diffuser impact my life now? I woke up without all the aches. No headache, neck ache and back ache. Without those my morning are usually good. It’s crazy how I stand in front of my fragrance diffuser and smile to it every day. And yes I took a sniff while I’m at it. But I must strongly make a note here. This is not aromatherapy to make you sleep. Each individual requirement on room fragrance is different. I’m looking for something to help to calm me down so that I can sleep better. Of course you can put this diffuser to just fragrance your room 🙂

      • Oh? I thought the way you used it, is the only way. Now I’m thinking how to incorporate one in the bedroom. I tend to knock on things, especially fragile ones. I think C&E carries diffuser too.

        • Sorry typo. Replying using phone hehe. I mean function. I think most people use it as home fragrance. Yes C&E have diffuser as well. Those never seems to attract me to take a look lol

  • Is it recommended to place the diffuser in a small room, rather a big room? Thinking to put one at my workstation.

    • Both is fine dear. If small room, just put lesser rattan sticks :). If not enough scent from the diffuser, add more sticks.

I think there’s 20% discount now. I remembered this was RM160 after discount.

  • Went to C&E earlier. RM200 for 198ml if not mistaken. What if the rattan sticks are saturated to the point that it can’t absorb the fragrant oil? Do we change the rattan sticks then?

    • That’s the way to go. The rattan sticks are supposed to be saturated with the fragrance oil lol. The scent will dispense out through the stick 🙂
