Review: StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum, an All Around Eye Serum for Younger Looking Eyes

Remember beginning of last month I mentioned that I’m currently using a new eye serum and that I’ll post up the review in 2 months time? No it’s not 2 months yet. A few of you told me 2 months is a long waiting period. So I thought of updating you with a review after using it for 2 weeks.

StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum represent a breakthrough in anti-aging. This highly specialized eye serum visibly tightens and lifts thin, lax and droopy skin around the eye area for a full 360° tightening eye lift. Now, who doesn’t get all hyped up seeing the metal tip applicator. I know I am!

StriVectin7
StriVectin is confident with their latest product that clinical proven results are printed all over the box so users that are using StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum will know what to expect on week by week basis. Just so you didn’t know, comparing with most skin care companies that rely simply on the results that user see themselves…StriVectin have a higher standard of proof which are also measured and graded by medical researchers.

StriVectin8
StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum is paraben free and non-comedogenic as well. It is suitable and preferably advisable to be used twice daily – day and night for better and faster results. Which is exactly what I’ve been doing for the past 2 weeks. I stopped all other eye serum and cream and only use this alone as I was excited to see results as per claimed by StriVectin.

I’ve also include the list of ingredients for those that are interested.

StriVectin9
Because of how the eye serum is placed in the box, I need to open the box from the bottom otherwise it’s impossible to get the tube out :). Although the box is somewhat much more larger than the eye serum tube, it is securely tucked at the right corner all thanks to it’s built-in nested inner box frame.

I like that StriVectin simplify the box design. There is no funky design on the box surface. One’s attention who picked up the eye serum will only be diverted to it’s clinical proven results claims. This only shows how serious StriVectin are with their latest technology and product.

StriVectin10
Also included in the box is a yellow “Important Product Usage Information” card and a multi-language StriVection list of product information and usage direction.

According to the yellow card, it is best to store StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum tube out of direct sunlight and excessive heat. I think this is an important practice for all skin care to prevent the content from texture change or active ingredient reaction.

StriVectin11
Most of you will agree with me that the most interesting part about this StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum is the metal massaging applicator tip. When I first saw it I was like oh cool, I don’t have to scoop out and use my fingers!  Talking about being a lazy bum eh? Haha! Many people I met and talk about skin care told me the skin care they always skip is the eye serum or cream. I am too when laziness kick in at certain night especially when I reached home late.

StriVectin12
The cap is also cleverly designed in a way that the plastic tip on the inside are to prevent any spillage. Even so I don’t place my eye serum facing down. Instead I placed it at a visible place near my vanity table with the applicator tip facing up.

The metal applicator tip is not small. It is big enough to fit my under eye. Anything smaller than that will be useless and doesn’t serve the purpose. So in another word the size of the metal applicator for this eye serum is just perfect.

StriVectin13
One thing that I need to note out is to shake the tube before using. Reason being is that the water and ticker liquid which is the serum tend to separate. What I normally do is to shake the tube until I couldn’t hear any water sound. When that happen it means that everything is well-mixed.

Always remember this is serum. So it’s more watery than conventional eye cream. I always make sure I squeeze the tube gently to dispense a bit of eye serum out before massaging it to the under eye area repeatedly.

The smell of the eye serum on the other hand is quite pleasant. It doesn’t have the chemical scent to it. In fact it smells so damn good that I can’t stop sniffing the applicator. I sucks at good smelling skin care haha!

It is recommended to clean the metal applicator thoroughly. After each use I’d wipe the applicator clean with a wet tissue. A clean dry normal tissue will do too. It’s not a hassle to clean at all.

StriVectin14
Let’s recap the Week 2, Week 4 and Week 8 claim shall we?

So on Week 2 I shall see a tighter skin surface whereas the eye area will feel more firmer and smoother. To be honest I can see a smoother skin surface. No kidding. It is pretty obvious especially after makeup. For some reason makeup tend to intensify whatever flaws and lines on the eye area. So I would normally look at my eye after makeup. I like my eye now :). Also, I do have eye bag problem on certain days and throughout this 2 weeks I don’t see any eye bag. I guess that means my under eyes are tighter.

StriVectin15
Here’s how I would use the StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum. I’d shake the tube, squeeze some eye serum out on the metal applicator tip (remember to stop squeezing the tube) and massage onto eye area repeatedly. What happen is that the metal tip applicator cools away puffiness and smooths away crepey skin. That’s the main purpose of the metal applicator tip! However do note that the eye serum will not absorbed in right away using the metal applicator tip. So tap in using your fingers until it’s fully absorbed. Not bad eh? So easy and convenient for lazy bum!

Another thing that you need to take note. On my first and second use I felt a slight sting. That slight sting is gone after the serum absorbed in. But no worries, the sting only lasted for a few usage. In my case it’s just two usage 🙂

StriVectin16
I do notice changes in just 2 weeks. I’m not sure if you can see the different but my under eye area are much more “softer” looking. What I really love about my eye now is how smooth and refine of the overall look.

StriVectin17
The result is also visible on my right eye. I don’t have a lot of fine lines on this right eye but I simply like the smoother and softer look! Take a look at the inner corner. StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum managed to smooth away those crepey skin!

StriVectin18
My left eye is a bit tricky. I have a longggg deep fine line all this while which will take a longer time to dealt with. Although the usage of StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum in these 2 weeks doesn’t erase it immediately, the area around that stubborn long line is also visibly smoother and more refined. Less crepey too right? 🙂

I have another line just above the long line which you can see in “Before” picture. After 2 weeks it is reduced almost 90%.

StriVectin19
I’m pretty happy and satisfied with the result after only just 2 weeks. Now I’m continuing my journey with StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum so that I can benefit from the Week 4 and Week 8 results. Although I’m still 2 weeks away from Week 4 clinical proven result claim but I’m beginning to see the said result which is pretty amazing. Will update this post with Week 4 review soon.

On the price wise, many of you told me that it’s expensive for an eye serum. And my reply is the same for all. Look at the bigger picture. Let me give you an example. Recently one premium skin care brand launched an eye serum too and the price is RM230 for 15ml. StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum retails at RM268 for 30ml. The ml is double of what the other eye serum is at for a RM38 extra in terms of price wise. In conclusion this StriVectin-TL™ 360° Tightening Eye Serum price is quite reasonable if you ask me :). And that other eye serum will work it’s best if you pair it with an eye cream. This one? You don’t need to.

Hope this helps.

  • WOW. This eye serum is not bad. The result is obvious on you. I’m using ANR Eye Serum. The new one yeah. I still see nothing. Previous ANR Eye is also nothing on me. I am thinking if I should switch.

    • Not bad right. This tube is so huge that it will last for months to come 🙂

How long has it been when you started ANR Eye Serum? Eye care are tricky. It takes longer time to see the effect. ANR Eye has a bit effect on me but when I stop using everything came back LOL

  • Most of the time, brands would recommend users to continue to use this or that product to maintain the result. Once you stop, everything comes back again, and this time, worse than previously. Take hair as an example. My stylist (or rather his other clients) told me that when they (clients) use this or that hair serum, the hair looks wow. Once they stop using the hair serum (since they got the result they wanted), whatever problem they had previously comes back again, and it’s worse. Sometimes I wonder whether it’s our minds playing a trick on us (the psychology effect).

Is this eye serum hydrating? ANR eye serum is so-so. Not working for me. It works for my sister though. Maybe because she is younger? O.o

    • Quite hydrating cause it’s runny. It may feels like oil but doesn’t gave me any oil seed at all. Told ya ANR Eye Serum doesn’t work.

    • Maybe you used the wrong product :). As for me I don’t have eye bag and dark circle after using this for 5 weeks.

      • wow. maybe i should try it but currently very cautious as i tried 3 eye products and all the three cause my eyes allergy. so, currently have to bear with droopy eye bag.

        Reply
        • Pity you. Don’t rush. Cure the allergy first. I know how that feels. It’s better if you see doctor for allergy meds otherwise it can take a long time to cure.

  • yup, i went to see the eyes specialist already. He gave me some medicine and tell me not simply try all sort of eye cream. so, currently, fear of using eye cream but i want to get rid of the droppy eye bag >< .
