CLEO has done it again. After being quiet for two months since it’s last box set in June 2014, CLEO Malaysia released yet another edition of box set for the month of September. It is the CLEO September 2014 X Dipped Row Jewellery Box Set.
The collaboration this time round is rather unique. Instead of the usual skin care or makeup products, CLEO collaborated with Dipped Row. If you still have no idea who or what is Dipped Row, then you’ve been missing out quite a bit. I get to know Dipped Row when they was launched a few months ago. A few friends of mine was invited for the launch and they painted the stones on the jewellery. This is the reason why I had a vivid memory of Dipped Row. Who would paint the jewellery rhinestone anyway right? No one. Dipped Row did it!
Now, CLEO said that this box set is Limited Edition Dipped Row for CLEO but I claim to differ and I’ll tell you why. I have nothing again both CLEO or Dipped Row by any mean. I love them both. I’m just particular of the term used lol. Can’t blame me. I’m from magazine and digital publishing background 😀 . I agreed on this awesome deal being exclusive to CLEO but not the part where it said it’s Dipped Row for CLEO. Reason being, these pieces is currently selling at Dipped Row. If it’s “for CLEO” then it has to be something that you can’t get from their online store. No biggie actually. Just my crazy thoughts 🙂
I’m a seasonal jewellery addict. Sometimes I’m into big chunky rings, sometimes charm bracelet, sometimes huge earrings and sometimes necklace. For RM10 inclusive of a copy of CLEO September 2014 issue worth RM6 and one jewellery piece worth RM32 (earrings) or RM25 (bracelet), I say this is a very good deal. That is unless you are not into jewellery 😀
There is three different jewellery to choose from – Florette Studs, Lennox Link Bracelet and another earrings which I couldn’t find from the website. I go for Florette Studs in Pink although I was drawn to green one as well. The quality of the earrings is actually quite good. It’s heavy and definitely an unique piece to have.
Did you managed to grab a copy or two? There is only 1,000 copies available at selected bookstores around Klang Valley.
- Kinokuniya KLCC.
- Times bookstores – Pavilion, BSC, Hartamas Shopping Center, Sunway Giza Mall.
- MPH bookstores – Mid Valley, One Utama, Publika, Subang Parade, Great Eastern Mall, Bangsar Village.
- Popular bookstores – Sunway Pyramid, AEON Bukit Tinggi, IOI Mall, One Utama, Ikano Shopping Center, AEON Cheras, Empire Subang Gallery, Paradigm Mall, Ampang Point Center, Bukit Raja Shopping Center.
Thanks to you I get to buy two copies at Kinokuniya =)
I so wanted to get another copy of the earrings. Which jewellery you get?
Thanks to your Instagram I got the exact same earrings from Times, Bangsar Shopping Centre and it is the last one left :-). There are still a lot of magazines left but they are mostly offering the bracelet. Sad to say, I realised that Cleo only suits those below 30 years of age because I cannot find much interesting stuff to read in the magazine compared with Women’s Weekly or Her World. Maybe these are sign for me getting older. Haha.
There is a lot left at MPH One Utama 😀 . I heard the bracelet is a bit plasticky but my friend said it was alright for a RM10. I totally agree with you on Cleo. I couldn’t relate to what’s on the inside. Their genre and group target is indeed for younger generation. We would suit Women’s Weekly or Her World more lol.
There are a lot of copies at Popular, IOI Mall. My eyes are glued to your dressing table, my apologies 😀 Some of the earrings looked ok but since I don’t wear earring that much, I didn’t stock up on these. Thanks for sharing the goodies as always 🙂 You always have our best interest at heart <3
There’s a lot at MPH One Utama and Kinokuniya. I just went today to help another blogger to buy because she can’t find any. I had my eyes on the chunky earrings hehe. My pleasure to share any good deals I came across. This is what beauty blogger is suppose to do – help others 😉
