Pencil is easier to sharp although it’s a bit waste to keep sharpening lol.

Pencils always smudge and it’s very difficult to control the tips and I never be able to draw sharp lines using pencil. You’re right, the formulation is getting improved that’s why, I’m going to give them a try, especially after reading your post here!
