Holiday Collection 2014 Smashbox

Holiday Gift Guide 2014: Smashbox On The Rocks Holiday Collection

Among all the brands, Smashbox is the least talk about brand and that includes their On The Rock Holiday 2014 Collection. I didn’t know Smashbox came out with a holiday collection until I saw the display last week at Sephora IOI City Mall. The only YouTuber that I’ve watch a few weeks ago talking about Smashbox holiday collection is Shaaanxo.

Let me show you how gorgeous and how underrated Smashbox On The Rock Holiday 2014 Collection really are. I love them!

Smashbox On The Rocks Holiday 2014 Collection
There are a total of seven holiday sets found on http://www.smashbox.com/collections/on-the-rocks-holiday-2014-collection. Once again, I am not sure if Sephora Malaysia carries the whole lot of seven or it’s selective. So you have to make you way to Sephora store personally to find out more about it kay? 🙂

Of all holiday collection this year that I’ve gone oohhss and ahhhhss about, Smashbox IMHO is the only one that came out with sets that are useful and versatile. There is literally nothing in each set that I don’t want. Sometimes when you like a set but you don’t have the use for one or two items inside, you will still buy it because you wanted something in the set. With Smashbox, there was no such thing. Their holiday sets are very very useful.

I really like On The Rocks Photo Finish Primer Duo. Too bad the set was out only after the Black Card 20% sale otherwise this would be in my shopping bag for sure. I’ll just have to wait for clearance sale (if there’s any) to grab this and every other set that I’ve been eyeing 😀 . I also like On The Rocks Brush Set. I believe I didn’t see this the last time I’m at Sephora. Not sure if that was brought in for Malaysia market.

Hope you like this Smashbox On The Rocks Holiday 2014 Collections as much as I do. I may not buy immediately but if there’s any sale on any of these, you’ll see me bagging it lol.

  • Yea, Smashbox On The Rocks (OTR) Holiday 2014 Collection sets are gorgeous, aren’t they?
Sephora is carrying the following-: OTR Photo Op Eye Shadow Palette, OTR Photo Finish Primer Duo and OTR Be Legendary Lip Gloss Set. Great news! You can get the OTR Mini Best Sellers Kit (as above) with any 2 OTR purchase!
Parksons Pavillion is carrying the same 3 sets as Sephora with an addition of OTR Always Sharp Eyeliner Set and you can enjoy a GWP of the OTR Travel Brush Set (as above) with any 2 OTR purchase as well!
Now it’s beginning to sound like Christmas already! 😉

    • Very gorgeous indeed. Hardly can missed them with the diamond on the box 😀
I saw Photo Op Eye Shadow Palette, Photo Finish Primer Dup and Be Legendary Lip Gloss Set at Sephora KLCC last weekend. I went back to reconfirm which sets are available by Sephora hehe.
What? There’s GWP with the purchase of 2 sets? Now…that’s REALLY worth it! Any reason why the brush set is not brought in? That is so pretty 🙁

  • USD 15 only? Seriously where can you get something decent for RM 15 in Malaysia!! I am jealous of US ppl! haha

    • Cannot compare like that lol. Average earning there is low so it’s only natural that the cosmetic price there is low too.

    • I loveeee the brush set. Too bad we don’t have it here. I heard from YouTuber GlamLifeGuru that even their travel brush set is top notch quality. It’s the same quality as the retail size. I like Full Exposure eyeshadow palette. It’s huge, cheaper than any other palette and it consists of half matte and half shimmery shades. Kinda balanced 🙂
My pleasure for the roundup! 😉
