Philosophy Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser For Face and Eyes: Fastest and simplest way to remove makeup, cleanse and tone

philosophy: purity is natural. we come into this world with all the right instincts. we are innocent and, therefore, perceive things as they should be, rather than how they are. our conscience is clear, our hands clean and the world at large is truly beautiful. it is at this time we feel most blessed. to begin feeling young again, we must begin with the most basic step of all, the daily ritual of cleansing.

Philosophy products are made to enhance the skin as well as well-being and that is translated into uplifting messages on each bottles and jars. Philosophy said that each of their product has a story and each story speaks to the heart of the brand.

One of my best kept secret is the simplest and shortest time I take to remove all my makeup, cleanse and tone. Obviously the secret is out now that I’m telling you that the secret is this Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser For Face and Eyes.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser For Face and Eyes

The Philosophy Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser For Face and Eyes is the easiest and the most simple 3-in-1 cleanser I’ve used. It is made to remove makeup thoroughly, cleanse at the same time and lastly, tone. This means I don’t have to double cleanse because this unique gel, non-foamy cleanser gave me a squeaky clean face. And I can skip toner too. However, on days where my skin is particularly dry, I still use a toner. It gave a peace of mind but there is absolutely no harm if one would want to continue the normal skin care routine.

I’ve tried using this cleanser to remove my eye makeup as well. Now, if you know me you will know that all my eye makeup are waterproof and long lasting. That means removing is a pain most of the time. I don’t have an issue with removing eye makeup with this cleanser except for mascara. It’s not a problem for me since I always remove my mascara separately but if you are looking for one product to remove everything, you need to work on the area more. I hate to say this but this cleanser stings my eyes unless I close both eyes tightly, work faster and quickly rinse thoroughly with water thereafter.

Some time ago Philosophy had a workshop and a few of bloggers went. Right after the workshop, a few of the bloggers actually told me that this cleanser also make a great brush cleanser. I never doubted this cleanser in any way before and I could totally see why it is able to remove dirt from makeup brushes. But then again, I might not spend that much for brush cleanser lol. This bottle I have is so precious to me and I wouldn’t want to finish it up so soon 😀

If you want me to recommend one product from Philosophy to try for a beginner, I would say get this Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser For Face and Eyes. Not the shower gel but get this. If you want a skin care that is more targeted, I’d always recommend the The Microdelivery Peel, which I’ve gone through two sets 😉

Philosophy Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser For Face and Eyes is available at all Sephora outlets nationwide.

  • Ooooh, I also have this but I haven’t used it yet. Still sitting patiently in my stash. 😀

As I’ve started using heavier make up, this wall probably make cleansing so much easier (when I do get round to using it). Currently using Biore cleansing water to remove my make up but I’m not impressed. Still prefer cleansing oil. This cleansing water, I use a pump full per cotton and after 4 pieces, the cotton still doesn’t come back clean. I’m using up my cotton like crazy!

    • Oh! One bottle will last you for very long. I have this bottle for a year now and I still have 1/4 left to go 🙂 . I have been in and out the cleansing water bandwagon and like you, I still prefer cleansing oil. Currently using SK-II one hehe. Cleansing water is really wasting cotton pad seriously. Cleansing oil is so easy to use and rinse in the shower. This Purity Made Simple is an all-in-one for me. I use this when my face is not as dirty or oily as normal. Since I always have migrain, I use this to take off my makeup before fainting on the bed. Perfect timing lol.

  • i really love this cleanser as well! at first i didint really believe that it can remove makeup efficiently but after trying for a few times, it works really well. except for mascara and eyeliner at my waterline, that has to be removed separately. worth repurchasing ^_^

    • I know right. The gel that doesn’t foams up takes more convincing. It does remove makeup thoroughly and squeaky clean too! My mascara is a pain to remove even with cleansing oil so I didn’t use this to remove my eye makeup because I know it won’t do anything lol. Gonna repurchase when I’m out 🙂

Did you try it to wash your makeup brushes?

    • Hehe yeap! The secret. Sometimes I don’t want to spend time massaging and massaging. Sometimes I just want to be lazy. This is it!

  • Darn right about not wanting to massage and massage 😛 Sometimes when I get home so late after work and all worn out, I am a little lazy to clean up. But then again, wax on wax off. Hence cleansing oil has been my best friend as Bioderma and eye make up remover take more time.

    • Oh yeah. I went back to cleansing oil recently too. Soooo easy especially those that doesn’t leave any oil traces. I’ve been using SK-II one. Not even a bit oil left on the face after rinsing with water.
