Sometime I don’t practice what I preach. For example I tell everyone who I know that are into sports to slather on sunscreen and I do not do it myself. I even gave them sunscreens! I bet I am not alone. Most people are good in advising others but when it comes to their ownselves, they slack away hehe.

It is only recently I notice all the multiple tan lines on my body. You see, I love the sun. I love to sweat. I love it when the sun hits my skin. I love being tan and I missed being tan. I hate it when people told me I am fair. Yeap. I am that Asian who does not act like an Asian. I am proud of my tan lines. Funny that sunburn on me subsided very quickly but these tan lines I got from running stays put. As much as I like my tan lines, I am also aware of what the sun can do to my skin. So I scanned across my vanity table and found this Suntegrity Natural Mineral Sunscreen For Body sitting at the wine rack, which I used as my beauty storage. I had a whole row of sunblock there 😛 . See! I do take my sun protection very seriously 😉

If you remember my review on Suntegrity 5-in-1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen Tinted, I did mentioned that the sunscreen gave me itch on the face. I was afraid that this Natural Mineral Sunscreen For Body will also give me itch. I would not want to have itch all over my body while running at a running event! 😀 . For the past three weeks, I have been testing out this sunscreen for my morning run. The verdict? I LOVE IT!

Suntegrity Natural Mineral Sunscreen For Body offers a broad-spectrum protection, however it is only SPF30. If you intend to be out in the sun for a quick while, it is fine. It is also a mineral sunscreen that is is free from parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oil, synthetic dyes, sulfates, nanoparticles and chemical UV absorbers. This sunscreen comes in two version – Unscented and Normal. The one I have with me is the Normal version so it does comes with a hint of citrus scent. Quite pleasant actually. The texture and consistency of the sunscreen scares me at first but I got used to it. It comes out of the tube pitch white, thick and looks absolutely creamy. A little does goes a long way, unless you want to look like Snow White lol. Despite looking all thick and creamy, I do find it to spread easily and when I am done spreading it all over my body, it is actually not greasy at all. I kind of like the thick texture now as somehow it moisturizes my skin and the thicker texture also gave me a piece of mind that it is thick in such a way so that it can really protects the skin. You know sometimes a sunscreen is too light you will keep on applying and applying because it does not give you that kind of assurance? Well, this one does. I also learnt that it contains 20% non-nano, uncoated zinc-oxide for therapeutic broad-spectrum protection against the sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays. It is pre-loaded with antioxidants, TSA Friendly and the best of all, it is Made in the USA.

I could not find anything I do not like about this Suntegrity Natural Mineral Sunscreen For Body except that it only offers Broad Spectrum SPF30 and the pitch white product color can be a little scary. I was applying my sunscreen outside of my car at the park when a group of male cyclist cycle passed me, staring at me. They must be wondering what the heck is this girl doing looking patchy white all over her body. So hilarious. The thick texture has got to be my favourite. I like to at least feel something on my skin and knowing I had protection on so that I do not need to keep thinking to reapply every 10 minutes.
