The adorable and yet elegant Annick Goutal new fragrance, Tenue de Soirée is a scent that represent freedom, impertinence and audacity. A scent inspired by the one special feeling of a promise made, on a night in Paris.

Tenue de Soirée, a fragrance described as a sweet, modern chypre scent is one of the kind. At least in my collection. I have never smell anything like this – sweet, sexy, classy and yet musky. It is definitely more suitable for the evening wear as the scent screams confident to the surrounding people.

Now, the packaging is also something to note. The fragrance juice is bottled in an ombre purple glass bottle. Sleek! The textured label is simple but clearly states the name of the perfume – Tenue de Soirée. Then comes the fluffy purple pompom around the neck of the bottle. This reminds me of the huge fluffy vintage powder puff. The pompom turns the modern perfume into something feminine, joyful, adorable, gentle in a way and sensuality from the scent itself. That is not all. The dangling gold medal charm is engraved with Annick Goutal initial. The clinking sound of the charm against the bottle is like two glasses of champagne cheering for an unforgettable moment. Annick Goutal said the way the perfume is presented is designed in such so that it arouses the senses, just like the fragrance it contains. I find the story behind the scent so exciting.
