Top 8 Innisfree gift ideas and wish list fulfilment this festive holiday

For Christmas last year I did a series of Holiday Gift Guide 2014, and for this year, I thought of doing the same. Doing a holiday gift guide series takes a lot of work including lots of research online, and I realized I do not have as much time as last year to do so due to work. So for this year, I will only do gift guide from brands that already sent me press releases. Starting with Innisfree, our favourite Korean brand that is oh-so affordable and good 🙂

Althea Korea: One-stop K-Beauty online store shopping experience and my haul

I’m pretty sure what I’m going to talk about today is not something new to you. You might have already heard, been told, seen, and even shopped personally at Althea Korea. Althea Korea made its debut appearance in the Malaysia beauty scene 2 months ago. Almost everyone I know has been asking me if I knew or tried shopping at the new online store and they want to know what I think before they place their order. You see, my friends sometimes treat me as the “experimental” type of person when it comes to online shopping. I have no idea what they are afraid of. Not like the online store will bite 😀 😀

I’m not going to torture you with my whole shopping experience first so here is my haul from Althea Korea. I know you are curious with what I got 😉

Althea Korea Haul
Now that you have already seen briefly of my overall haul, let me tell you what I think.

Go Green the Trendy Way with Innisfree Eco-Handkerchief Campaign and Limited Edition Green Tea Product

I’m not a hankie person. The men in my house yes but not me. I did not know what I can do with the handkerchief since I have makeup on all the time lol. However, I do like to use handkerchief for other purposes such as bag decoration (my fav!), to wrap my lunch bento or over hair tie (another fav).

The Innisfree “Eco-Handkerchief Campaign” was first introduced five years ago in 2010 in conjunction with World Environment Day in June as an inspiration and encouragement to global customers to replace tissues with handkerchief. Due to this, Innisfree has been constantly reinventing and rediscovering various usage methods of the handkerchief with chic, trendy designs.

Innisfree Eco Handkerchief Campaign
These limited edition eco-handkerchiefs comes in four designs. Each and every hankie is represented by a particular seasonal plant such as:

  • Spring – bright yellow canola flowers
  • Summer – refreshing green tea flowers
  • Fall – vivid hue of maples
  • Winter – the beauty queen

My Night Skincare Routine 2015: Slightly different from day routine but still focusing on brightening

Have you check out My Day Skincare Routine 2015 post up a few days ago? No? Okay, here’s the link 🙂 . You know what, thinking back at what a dear friend told me last Friday, seven products is still a lot. She’s right. Seven is a lot 😛 . But I do sneakily skip one or two sometimes so it wasn’t that bad for me. I plan to cut down more when I finish off a few more products. I don’t like to waste skincare. I usually finish everything before moving to another new product.

Enough of the babbling, here is My Night Skincare Routine 2015 as promised 😉

My Night Skincare Routine 2015
Night routine is one product lesser than my Day routine lol. What’s missing here is the weekly treatment products like scrubs, masks and so on. I also don’t include makeup remover in the night routine because I use them in the evening, not night before bed.

Body - Hand Cream Innisfree Review: Bath / Body Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Anti-Ageing

Innisfree new Orchid Line, infused with Jeju Orchid essense for a youthful, moisturized skin

When Innisfree had it’s store opening at Sunway Pyramid back in December 2014, I was so busy with work that I couldn’t sneak out to the opening. No matter how excited I was at that time to know that Innisfree is finally here, I just can’t go. Then when Innisfree invited me to get up-close with Lee Min Ho in January, I couldn’t attend either. Heck, I was too busy to even reply the email. That’s how busy I was with work. Some brand / PR company tend to remove me from their future invitation list if I didn’t attend one of their event so I thought I’ve already missed the boat. Turns out I was wrong. Innisfree’s PR was so kind to tell me a little secret on a brand new skin care range that they will be launching in February and they want me to be the first few to try. My Instagram and Facebook followers would have already know that the skincare range is none other than the Orchid Line.

Innisfree Orchid Enriched Cream 15th Anniversary Set
In conjunction with the launch of Orchid Line, Innisfree released a very very verrrryyyy Limited Edition Orchid Enriched Cream 15th Anniversary Set (RM101). This set is so awesome for what it is and the best part is, you are paying for one product and get the rest for free! That’s not all. The hand cream is not available for purchase. It is only made available for this limited edition set. Let me tell you, once you’ve tried the Orchid Cream, you will want to beg to purchase the hand cream because the smell is sooooo gooooooddd.
