Make Up - Beauty Tools Review: Make Up Shiseido

Review: Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush Is Just Perfect!

So I’ve jumped onto Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush bandwagon / craze 2 months ago. At the beginning it was more like curious on what’s the hype as I prefer to use my fingers to apply liquid foundation. Then it’s because I was on shopping ban and I couldn’t buy anything. And after that it was the Aeon voucher day and I was thinking hard what to buy with my stash of Aeon cash voucher since I’m on shopping ban. Wow. All the reasons that I can find to get this brush haha! And I settle with just the brush, nothing else.

Shiseido7
After thinking hard which brand to get as my first foundation brush, I finally decided on Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush. I notice that almost all foundation brush is small and short. I picked Shiseido as the quality and overall feel on my hand is the best among the rest and the quality is better too.

The ferrule are made from mirror-like thick metal while I cannot figure out what the handle are made from. All I know is I love how the overall finishing is. So shinny.

As mentioned the size is small and fits perfectly on my palm. At first glance I thought it’s too small but after using it for the first time everything make sense. You don’t need a huge foundation brush for the face.

Review: Gatsby Powdered Oil Clear Paper is Not Just A Guy Thing

Did you know Gatsby have this oil blotting paper that a lot of people are raving about? I don’t until a year ago after reading it from a Singapore beauty blogger. It is Oil Clear Sheet but I couldn’t find it at Watsons but I stumbled upon another version at the man section; Gatsby Powdered Oil Clear Paper and I bought it home thinking it’s what I read lol. Silly me. What seems as a wrong purchase at first is actually a good purchase!

Gatsby Powdered Oil Clear Paper comes in a whopping 70 sheets. 70 sheets 10cm x 10cm is shockingly new to me. Look at the size!

Review: Oil Off Paper – Sweet Fragrance of Mixed Berry & Cherry

I haven’t been using or buying any oil blotting paper since I was 20? RM14 for 2 packs is not too bad though but I was tempted by the fragrance and design of it. To be frank I wasn’t sure the brand name as well but what the heck.

I picked up these facial oil blotting paper from GC Clearance Sales quite some time ago for a special clearance price.

GC aka Golden Channel is a company that brings in Japan products to Malaysia. So there’s no surprise that these oil blotting papers is Made In Japan.

There’s a marker on the other side that says very much about the scent of the blotting paper. Love love loveee the scent.

Review: RMK Cotton is Not Your Ordinary Facial Cotton

I’ve always wanted to do a review on RMK Cotton but put it on hold as it’s out of stock at all counters. I bought the last box from Isetan KLCC and the last 2 boxes from Isetan The Gardens heh! Estimated stock arrival would be about 3 months or more so if you’re interested please do contact relevant counter to check on stock availability ya.

I was first introduced to RMK Cotton back in July 2012 when I had a makeover with Adrian Sin. I was sold the moment I hold the cotton on my hand as it’s nothing like I ever used or seen.

RMK Cotton is not the cheapest facial cotton in the market. It’s retailing for RM20 with 72 pieces in a box. Considering the size, quality and multi-purpose usage of the cotton…the price is not too bad. I’ll tell you why later on.

What makes the cotton so special is the dual-sided and texture. Linel-gel side will transformed it’s texture when in contact with liquid making it an optimum massaging tool while the Mesh side have a soft mesh texture for a gentle exfoliation purposes.

Review: Flawless Face with BeautéCa™ Beauty Sponge

Not a pro in doing makeup? No worries. All you need is a beauty sponge!

Today I’m going to review a Beauty Blender dupe for applying liquid foundation which is equally high performance as the original one. The original Beauty Blender is not accessible here in Malaysia that easily. So far I only saw an online store selling and it’s expensive! I’m not gonna spend near to RM200 for a sponge LOL! Just in case you’re wondering what the heck is Beauty Blender sponge? Here you go.

The dupe; BeautéCa™ beauty sponge is available at SaSa outlet for RM12+. Can’t remember the exact price. It comes in a few colors. My first is blue. I went back 2 weeks after that to get a pink. I actually took the product picture long time ago. Kinda lazy to retake so bear with me on the picture quality 😛

The packaging is nothing luxurious. Don’t expect it to be like how Beauty Blender is packaged ya.

The first time I read the description on the back, I couldn’t understand how to use it properly as I wasn’t paying attention. After reading for the second time I finally get it.

Review: In Support of Earth-Friendly Beauty Brushes with EcoTools® 6 Piece Eye Brush Set

A month ago I picked up EcoTools® 6 Piece Eye Brush Set from Shins Mid Valley. Coincidently they’re having a 20% discount on EcoTools®! Lucky me. Perfect timing as I wanted to change all my brushes to a new and better one. This brush set is retailing for RM70 and I only paid RM56 after 20% off.

The brush set comes with a hemp and cotton case with mirror. This is actually the 6th item by what EcoTools® meant with “6 piece eye brush set”. 1st to 5th item is the brust itself.

The brush itself is not too long or too short. Some people called it mini brush set but actually this is not as mini as it is. I always have problem with long brush. I tend to hit my stand mirror everytime I do my eye makeup haha! With this… it’s perfect for me. P/S: I tried to do my makeup as close as I can to the mirror so that I can prevent having wrinkle lines on my forehead lol!
