Make Up - Face Paul & Joe Review: Make Up

Review: Loving My Pearl Blusher; Paul & Joe Face Color C

I have a confession. I’ve been guarding a blusher like an eagle as it’s too precious to be used. I bought a Paul & Joe Holiday 2010 set; Paul & Joe Face Color & Lip Gloss Set back in 2011 because of this meteorites-like blusher. The set is not cheap though. I paid RM109 for the whole set. The star product of the set is none other than this Face Color C.

You might already know that Paul & Joe had pulled out from Malaysia market since April 2012. I’m savoring every last bits of what’s left in my stash and this is my precious. Paul & Joe Face Color C comes with a puffy lollipop applicator but it was too cute to be used so I kept it aside.

I’m really confuse with Paul & Joe product name and code. Almost most blusher is named as Face Color or Face Color C including this one that I had.

Review: The Multi-Task Clarins Beauty Flash Balm

I said I’ll be back with Clarins review and here I am!

This is a pending review that I’ve always wanted to blog about but slipped my mind because I don’t use it everyday. I’m not supposed to use it everyday. To explain that further, be prepared to get confused like I did when I first googled for reviews on this product.

Clarins has been undergoing logo and packaging revamp since last year. Slowly range by range changed packaging and to my delight Beauty Flash Balm is one of it. Previous tube is short and fat while new tube is tall and slim. There is no changes with the ml just in case you’re wondering. It’s still same ol 50ml.

Review: Sampar Glamour Shot – The Transparent Foundation for the Weekend

How many of you give your skin a break from skin care and makeup? I DO! *raise hand*

As you know I like to layer my skin care day and night and I decided to give my skin a break from all the skin care on weekend. The same goes to makeup. On weekend I mainly do my quick shopping so no makeup is needed. Believe this or not…I’ve been practicing this “break” ever since I started with Clarins. And to answer some of your question; no it’s not weird at all. I found out I’m not the only one. A blogger from Singapore did the same too! *high 5 girl!*

The question is. How about the days on weekend that I actually need to meet someone or when I need to do my beauty rounding at KLCC but not willing to put on makeup? I’ve found the foundation that is not only transparent but covers my pores, fine lines, broken capillaries and some of the redness. Sounds promising? Let me introduce you to Sampar Glamour Shot.

As I only receive a small sample of this, I need to be extra careful in the application on first and second use to get the result. There’s no room for error so I’m feeling a bit stress LOL.

Here’s a snap shot on the technology called the Urban Advance behind this transparent foundation which was developed by Sampar founder; Patrick Sounigo.

Make Up - Face Review: Make Up Shiseido

Review: Shiseido The Makeup Accentuating Powder Blush #B2 Rosy Beige

It took me a while to write this review although the pictures had been taken months ago. I couldn’t think of a way to pen down this nicely and when I said that I guess you’ve figured out that I don’t like this blusher at all.

There’s a story on how I’ve gotten this Shiseido The Makeup Accentuating Powder Blush #B2 Rosy Beige (RM40). I went to Isetan Anniversary Sales last year October 2011. I bought a Shiseido mascara but returned it the next day as I found that the mascara has all dried up when I check the stuff I bought at home. I was excited about the mascara but looks like I’m not in luck. The mascara is all sold out so I couldn’t exchange for another one. At first the sales girl wouldn’t let me exchange as it’s sales item. I got upset with them cause I spent RM40 for a dried mascara and I couldn’t exchange it?? What is that? The sales girl then went to the person in charge to double confirm on exchange and she came back telling me to choose another item as exchange. I finally chose this blush as the price is the same.

Shiseido is not a stranger in beauty world. I’ve heard and read lots of good reviews especially their skin care and some of the makeup. So you can tell how excited I am to have a blusher from the brand.

Review: Taking Your Blues Away with Guerlain by Emilio Pucci Météorites Perles D’azur Illuminating Powder & Powder Brush

Guerlain Malaysia launched the Limited Edition Guerlain by Emilio Pucci collection mid May this year. Yeap, that was 3 months ago. At first I was told the collection would be on sale by 20th May but when I was casually browsing in Isetan KLCC 7 days before that I was surprised to find that the collection is already on sale. Although a month before that I bought Teint Beige from the permanent range…I fell in love with the illuminating effect that meteorites gave me and I was addicted to be a collector. I only wanted to get the Guerlain by Emilio Pucci Météorites Perles D’azur Illuminating Powder but I was persuaded to get the Limited Edition Guerlain by Emilio Pucci Powder Brush as well.

First up. Guerlain by Emilio Pucci Météorites Perles D’azur Illuminating Powder (RM189). I paid RM8 more compare with the permanent range and since it’s limited edition, it’s really quite worth it if you are a collector. It comes in a blue which many people referred as midnight blue tin can. Unlike the embossed signature rosette lid on the permanent range, the Emilio Pucci one has a Pucci Winter Capri print.

Review: Estée Lauder So Ingenious Multi-Dimension Loose Powder #04 Transparent

I had the Estée Lauder So Ingenious Multi-Dimension Loose Powder in #04 Transparent for a few months now as I’ve been trying to finish off my Clinique Blended Face Powder before opening this. So I only took out to use somewhere end of July together with RMK Liquid Foundation. Boy was I happy when I finally get to use this Multi-Dimension Loose Powder.

When I bought this I was asked by the BA what I want from the loose powder. The question was pretty relevant to determine which type and coverage I desire. I said I just want to use it to set the liquid foundation and no coverage is needed. However I did said I like a lil shimmer and I wanted to grab the CyberWhite Extra Brightening Loose Powder SPF 15/ PA++ but was quickly stopped by the BA as it would make me look shinier due to my skin type. Ohhh bummer 🙁

I was matched to #04 Transparent or if I like #01 Light which has a pink base. In the end I chose #04 Transparent. The content is 18g which is lesser comparing with other loose powder. The Clinique one is at a whopping 35g!
