Gucci Bamboo Eau de Parfum: Strong characteristic but yet graceful on the scent

Gucci made pretty good smelling fragrance all year round. I’ve said this before and I’m going to said it again. You can never go wrong with Gucci fragrance. I was blessed with a few Gucci fragrance and although I like them all, I can’t tell which is my favourite because they all smell so good.

Fresh from Gucci fragrance line, the brand introduced a new fragrance for her – Gucci Bamboo and it is already available for purchase.

The foundation of Gucci’s new Bamboo is to grab the brand’s most recognizable design signatures in references to Gucci woman of today, which is strong and graceful. Why bamboo? Well, bamboo has always been associated with strong characteristic for it’s natural strength survival will in extreme conditions. It is also elegant in a way and that, are what modern Gucci woman have in common with. Strength and confident, feminine, bendable but not breakable, adaptable, vital and fierce in facing changes in what life has to offer.

Dolce&Gabbana Dolce Floral Drops: Fresher, lighter and yet maintaining the scent of freshly picked white flowers sprinkled with dew

A year ago, Dolce&Gabbana launched a fresh floral fragrance last year namely Dolce and a year later today with Spring around the corner, Dolce&Gabbana releases Dolce Floral Drops. It’s the first extension of Dolce following the successful fragrance release last year.

Dolce&Gabbana Dolce Floral Drops will be able to cater to the group of users that are not into strong floral scent of the original Dolce. It is more of a fresh and light scent and yet still mimicking the scent of freshly picked white flowers sprinkled with dew.

I happened to like floral scent when it comes to my fragrance. The original Dolce fits the bill however I do admit that the floral scent is too strong. Dolce Floral Drops seems to be the answer and solution to that 🙂 . I do think it’s because a hint of freshness that was added into the concoction that neutralizes the floral scent to the right amount. It has the rare beauty of a fresh, floral scent. Bear in mind though, Dolce is Eau de Parfum while Dolce Floral Drops is Eau de Toilette. This new extension fragrance is inspired by the notes of Dolce Eau de Parfum, preserving its harmonious signature of white flowers together with a heart of White Amaryllis. Combining these ingredients with the lively and crisp green opening of Neroli leaves, that enriches its character and define its freshness right from the opening of the fragrance.

Trying out Brazilian IPL for the first time at Bubble Gum Wax Casa Tropicana

This may sound odd but whenever I’m under tremendous stress (an extreme one), I tend to go for something that involves pain. I have thought of tattoo before many years ago until I found out that not all people are suitable to have tattoo on and I fall into that category. I was once told to not have tattoo by someone powerful so tattoo is out of the question. Piercing however is a different story. I kinda was obsessed with body piercing (not that I have a lot). It was the suffering pain that make whatever sour things in life much more bearable.

As a norm in my life, once again I felt into a loop hole. Immediately I thought of something painful. Don’t worry. This time I thought of trying out Brazilian Wax 😀 . I heard it’s one painful experience for first timer and usually when I’m under this type of stress, pain is something I’m not afraid of. Not even a bit. I’m as brave as king kong! Right before I went for the waxing treatment, Arpita blogged about Brazilian IPL at Bubble Gum Wax and that they are currently offering first time trial price of RM96. I dragged my friend along and off we go!

There are two Bubble Gum Wax branch in total. One in Plaza Damas and one in Casa Tropicana. Casa Tropicana was newly opened just five months ago so I opted for that branch as my first time. The location is very unique. It’s at a condominium so don’t look for shop lots etc. Once you turn into the condominium unit, there are ample parking space available and Bubble Gum Wax is located at the first floor. They are facing the main road so you won’t miss it. The best part? No parking fee 🙂

When Innisfree had it’s store opening at Sunway Pyramid back in December 2014, I was so busy with work that I couldn’t sneak out to the opening. Dolce&Gabbana The One and The One for Men Collector’s Edition: A matchy match complementing fragrance for both men and women

Christmas this year is extra special and a joyous for me when these two heaven smelling Dolce&Gabbana The One and The One for Men Collector’s Edition reached my doorstep a few weeks ago. I’ve wore no other perfume but this since then and I even made my brother to use it and tell me what he thinks! Talking about taking control on how man smells lol.

A few months ago Dolce&Gabbana The One and The One For Men Limited Edition was launched for it’s 2014 lineup and to coincide with the holidays, Dolce&Gabbana The One and The One for Men Collector’s Edition (which is the duo you’re reading now) is released. There is no other best time to gift fragrance to your loved ones but Christmas.

It’s not really just for the holidays and all. Dolce&Gabbana is celebrating the timeless elegance of The One and The One for Men by releasing the Collector’s Edition. You can easily differentiate which is for who although both of the bottle only state “The One” on the front. This limited edition bottle is interpreted as Dolce&Gabbana passionate red for the women while deep rich brown for the men. I was figuring out which should be mine without realizing the perfect color coordination. Of course the red is for girl. Silly me 😛

Lipidol Cleansing Body Oil: There but not quite there yet

Regulars of Guardian pharmacy would notice a strange looking rack near the check out counter with lots of pastel color bottles in a clear plastic wrapping and stuck on what seems to be a tray that was inspired from egg tray. That strange looking rack with funky bottles which I first reported on my Instagram is Lipidol, a brand new skincare oils by Union Swiss, who is the makers of Bio-Oil.

The whole of the brand only consists of six types of skincare oil and everything is retailing for RM24.90. What I have with me is not all six products but just the Cleansing Body Oil, something that I thought would easily hit all the right marks.

You know how I always talk about water and oil level balance in order to keep a healthy and well hydrated skin? Well, apparently the founders of Bio-Oil are on the same page with this when it comes to the overall skin of the body, not just the face but the whole body from head to toe. Beauty oil has always known to be a favourite among those who believe in its efficacy and that includes me. If you recall I do love to “oil myself up” before bed 😀 . Lipidol want to be the first company to come out with a full oil-based skin care products in order to help the skin to retain moisture thus creating a healthy skin. Remember well-moisturized skin = healthy skin = problem-free skin?
