Beauty Salon Clarins Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Salon Facial Treatment

Beauty Salon Spy – Clarins Skin Spa Parkson Pavilion

Last weekend I made my way to Clarins Skin Spa Parkson Pavilion to have my complimentary facial and eye treatment. This is my first time stepping in to the new Skin Spa ever since it was launched.

As soon as I reached the waiting area, I was fascinated with the comfortable setting. Then I was greeted by the friendly Beautician; Sok Hung. Sok Hung handed me a form to fill in as a part of their procedure before I was brought in to the treatment room.

Clinique Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Hydrating

Review: Revisiting Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

I own three deluxe sample of Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief in 5mls and 7ml respectively. I’ve used up a whole jar of 5ml and I couldn’t see or feel the different at all so I stop using it. Moisture Surge has been sitting in my HELMER drawer for 6 months now and recently I revisited this Clinique’s best seller for a skin S.O.S.

Every brand counter I visited for the past 1 month said I have dehydrated skin. Perricone MD, Estee Lauder, Clarins, Clinique, Origins, Guerlain, Dior…they all said the same thing. I’ve been using extensively on both Clarins HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase and Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel but it seems like my skin has reached to a dry stage that those two daily staple is not enough anymore. I have a few hydration skin care set which I’m currently testing and then I remembered I have a few jar of Clinique Moisture Surge somewhere. I managed to find em’ and gave them another go.

Clinique Moisture Surge is not a cream but it’s in gel form. Very similar to Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel. This give me a cooling sensation upon application. I do not press on to my face like other skin care but with this I just applied normally. I find that this way it works better than pressing on.

I only use this during the odd period where I have nothing on the skin. You know. The time in between removing make ups after work to bed time? That’s when I slap this onto my face generously. I don’t apply my night skin care right after shower because my face would be oily while watching tv and by the time I’m ready for bed, I can’t stand the things on my face. So normally I’ll apply my night skin care right before I jump on the bed.

Estée Lauder Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Wrinkle / Fine Lines

Review: Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex

Lately I’ve implemented the iconic Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex into my skin care regime to boost or enhance my skin even more. I bought this Limited Edition 75ml bottle back in March 2012 and I’ve been using it since. I just realized I’ve used up half bottle of it in just 2 months as I shared this bottle with my mum. Basically I poured some into the deluxe sample bottle of 7ml and she had 2 refills so far!

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex 75ml is retailing for RM395. There’s also 2 smaller size version which is 30ml for RM240 and 50ml for RM330.

Review: Eliminate Eye Puffiness with Clarins Defining Eye Lift

As much as I’m hooked with Clarins Eye Contour Balm, I don’t mind adding another eye care to my skin care routine and that is Clarins Defining Eye Lift 15ml which I gotten it for “free” from November 2011 haul of Total Beauty Lift set. Clarins Defining Eye Lift is retailing for RM152 and what it does is totally different from Eye Contour Balm which soften fine lines around the eyes. What this do is to reduce / eliminate puffiness which resulted a brighter, opened eyes.

Ecotools Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Beauty Tool

Review: Getting Loofah with EcoTools® Sustainable Facial Buffs

Having a good, expensive skin care is not enough. I always believe we need a lil help in being pretty. Recently I’m embarking into beauty tools such as umecare Careroll Derma Roller and umecare umeSkin Analyzer. My new found tool is EcoTools® Sustainable Facial Buffs.

I bought a pack of EcoTools® Sustainable Facial Buffs for RM10.40 after 20% discount from retail price of RM13 from Shins. Shins is the only authorized seller for EcoTools® in Malaysia. I picked up the green one instead of blue as green makes more sense when it comes to the brand EcoTools®. In a pack there’s 2 facial buffs.

Cleanse and exfoliate your face with our sustainable facial buffs made with natural rayon from bamboo. Choose your favorite color and make this your two-sided bath necessity! The package, part of the EcoTools natural bath and body products collection, includes 2 buffs.

Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Beauty Tool Umecare

Review: umecare Careroll Derma Roller

I’m a skin care junkie. I’d buy any skin care that I think is good. Even if I already have a targeted skin care for my concern, I’d ended up buying more cause I believe the more I apply the faster the result is lol. I’m a person who like to layer skin care on my face. But never in a million years I’d have thought that our skin only absorb 30% of what was applied. That was until I discovered a magic God-send tool called Careroll Derma Roller.

If you’ve read my review on umeSkin Analyzer last week, I mentioned that I bought Careroll Derma Roller at a special price of RM95 instead of RM146. At the moment the special price is still happening so if you like what you read, head on to umecare website (http://www.mediquegroup.com/care-roll-roller/14/shopbrowse) and make you purchase!

The main reason why I delayed the review of Careroll Derma Roller is because I think it’s important for me to highlight to you the packaging inside out. After all you’re going to “poke” your whole face with it haha. And I was busy to take picture of it after I received the parcel. That’s why 🙂

On the outside, the roller is visibly noticeable. The box is hard and secure. Umecare staff took another precaution with securing the product with hard cardboard before sending out too. Thumbs up!

The back of the box is packed with bulleted information on the Careroll Derma Roller. I’m liking the huge 90% absorbency word already!
