Men’s Bioré Double Scrub Acne Solution Facial Foam: Can women use men’s skin care products?

When a parcel containing Men’s Bioré Double Scrub Acne Solution Facial Foam arrived my doorstep a month ago, my mind was racing trying to get my heads around on how am I suppose to review a facial foam that is meant for men. Some girls do use their men’s skin care. Well, I don’t. I was left with two choices. I could either ignore the PR sample parcel that I received or I could pass it to my brother. So I happily snap a photo of the product and Whatsapp it to my brother. To my surprise, le brother was excited that a company FINALLY sent me men skin care, which eventually will go to him 😀

Men’s Bioré Double Scrub Acne Solution Facial Foam is the newest edition as an extension to the brand’s newly launched Double Scrub range. Double Scrub is a range that offers specific skin care solution ranging from Deep Cleanse, Oil Control and Whitening to take care of those stubborn blackheads, oily complexion, dull complexion and of course, anti-acne solution.

Men's Biore Double Scrub Acne Solution Facial Foam
Double Scrub Acne Solution Facial Foam is designed and formulated for men to combat common men skin concern such as acne, oily skin and dull complexion. What it does is to go deep into the skin or pores, cleanse all the oil and dirt which is known to clog up pores and acne breakout. As you know I’m the skin care provider for my mum and now my brother as well. He uses my cleanser in the bathroom, which I’m alright with since I have 86545700633 tubes of cleanser up on the vanity rack. I was particularly telling him to use the whitening version as he does have quite a bit of acne marks from breakouts. What both of us didn’t know is he is somehow allergic to certain whitening substance that he kept getting more breakout (guilty me!). He managed to pinpoint out that it’s the cleanser that gave him continuous breakout that he switched to other cleanser and now he’s full on this Men’s Bioré Double Scrub Acne Solution Facial Foam.

Oxy Anti-Blackhead Wash: Effectively minimizing blackheads buildup, skin is less oilier but doesn’t help much with acne

Almost everyone regardless good skin or bad skin suffer from blackhead issue. I am definitely one of them. I do admit popping these backheads out is rather entertaining and addictive (oppss!) but you shouldn’t do that. No. You should look for a better skin care alternative 😀

OXY’s new upgraded Anti-Blackhead Wash now comes with powerful Mineral Enriched Volcanic Clay that works on your skin in multiple way, keeping the skin clear from backheads. Let’s find out how.

Oxy Anti-Blackhead Wash
A decade ago, people will tell me that acne / pimples and blackheads would stop after puberty. With our current weather getting more and more hotter, add that with currently hectic and stressful lifestyle, these skin problems is never ending. At least not for me. In fact my skin turns younger these days with more breakouts. Blackheads usually develop on oilier areas on the face i.e. the T-zone. It happens when the pores are clogged up with oil, dead skin cells and dirt which later oxidizes when hair follicles are exposed. That doesn’t mean you won’t find blackheads on other area beside T-zone. Trust me, it’s everywhere 😛

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Series: How I combat acne attack using less than five products

People say as you get older your skin gets drier. I am the other way round. Oily skin can get a little bit annoying at times but nonetheless I felt blessed because I don’t have fine lines or wrinkles on my face. It’s either that or this, right?

At my age now I shouldn’t still have oily skin or a skin that is prone to breakout. If you remember not long ago I have shared with you my current skincare routine using a full anti-aging skin care range that I find might be too rich for my oily super oily skin that it gave me a few new pimples every day? I was in luck because not long after my review was posted up, my long expected Thursday Plantation Tea Tree skin care series parcel arrived my doorstep. I badly needed these products to turn my skin around.

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree
Nope, you did not read the title wrongly. I did received five Thursday Plantation Tea Tree skin care products, which I find by just using three products from the brand helped to solve my acne problem. I’m not going to review all five products by sequence, i.e cleanser > toner > gel but instead I’m going to tell you my favourite product from Tea Tree series down to my least favourite. Since there’s going to be five products and you can already foresee how long this review is going to, I don’t think I’ll go too technical like the usual review. Just straight to the point like and dislike 🙂 . Ready? Let’s start.

Oxy Deep Cleansing Wash & Oxy Blemish Control Moisturiser SPF15: A simple routine for the breakout prevention

I’m still not quite out of the whitening olympic yet and not quite changing course to anti-aging range yet but there is another range that is kinda new to me that I’ve been using on an off for the past one month. At the age I am now *cough* I’m indulging my skin more with whitening and anti-aging range. Anti-blemish range is probably the last on my mind. Having said that, I never say no to prevention. When it comes to anti-blemish, no one has the most experience in this matter than Oxy. Let me share with you one very simple anti-blemish range that I’m currently rotating – Oxy Deep Cleansing Wash & Oxy Blemish Control Moisturiser SPF15. This new Double Acne Formula gives 2X the acne fighting powder and 2X the confidence.

Review: SENKA Speedy Perfect Whip – A Whipped-Ready Version of SENKA’s Star Product, Perfect Whip

The brand SENKA that I first got to know is probably because of the whole foam “whipping” phenomena using one of their star product – Perfect Whip. And of course you can use the cleanser without the whole whipping action but what’s the fun of it right? I still remember vividly that most of my friends are so into all the foam producing that they went all out with it. Some bought a foam net, which I think is the most easiest and brilliant way, while some use a mask bowl set to whip the cleanser into foam.

Okay, I find all this extremely time consuming and not to mention tedious. It’s fun to do it once but everyday? Nah. This lazy bump opted for an easy way. Introducing SENKA’s newest member in the Perfect series – the SENKA Speedy Perfect Whip.

Now that we are done with our happy dance, let me tell you more about this new product from SENKA 🙂

Review: Hada Labo New Face Wash Launched With 3 Variants – Hydra & Whitening, Deep Clean & Pore Refining and Deep Clean & Blemish Control Face Wash

What attract me to Hada Labo shelf in the drugstore is the packaging. I’m a fan of the color white especially when it comes to beauty related stuff, just like the blog layout. I thought it looked clean :D. Another distinctive attraction of the brand Hada Labo is all the Japanese writing on the front tube of the bottle or tube. It’s like a mystery as I can’t read Japanese but somehow attracted to it. The Japs make good skin care and makeup don’t you think so? 😉

Asian skin type and need are unique and different due to the climate and environment surrounding. Hada Labo recognized these differences and came up with different types of cleanser previously for example Moisturizing Face Wash, es Foaming Wash, AHA/BHA Cleansing and Whitening Face Wash. Just last month Hada Labo launched three new face wash products, and so I was sent these Hada Labo New Face Wash to try out. Maybe Hada Labo sense that I was running out of cleanser eh?

Hada Labo New Face Wash 1
Just the other day I was telling my friends over Facebook that I wash my face three times a day and my friend said it’s too much. I disagree, because I have oily skin and my three times of washing only include morning after waking up, double cleanse after removing makeup and just before I go to sleep. These three times are the main face washing that I can’t skip, or I’ll end up with a face that I could even fried up an egg lol.
