Murad Invisiblur™ Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30 | PA+++: A photoshop in a bottle with skincare product benefits and invisible sunscreen

When I received the invitation from Murad to attend the official launch event for the NEW Invisiblur™ Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30 | PA+++, I quickly concluded that it is going to be a sunscreen product launch due to the word “Broad Spectrum” within the product name. Can’t blame me though, we are in the middle of a sunscreen Olympic whereas most of the brands are releasing or reformulate sunscreen products. I extended the invite to Arpita and when she asked what was the launch about, I told her it’s a new sunscreen product LOL. Nope, it’s definitely not a direct sunscreen product and I’ll tell you why.

Sunplay, if you don’t know yet has the most extensive sun protection line at an affordable price. That doesn’t stop the brand from coming out with more sun protection product. In fact, recently Sunplay Skin Aqua came up with a new extension range, named as Sarafit UV.

Sunplay Skin Aqua Sarafit UV offers the highest UVA ray protection with its PA++++, which targets the main cause of premature aging. The range is formulated in Japan using Double Silky Powder Technology, a technology to give comfort to the skin and oil absorbent even after sweat. Therefore it is ultra-light and silky smooth matte to wear on the skin, under hot and humid weather. Besides that, it is also enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and Super Hyaluronic Acid to deliver long lasting hydration throughout the day by targeting each layer of the skin. One ingredient I was surprised to know that is infused in the product is Collagen. Collagen in sun protection product? Say what? Yes girls. Estée Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening UV Protector SPF 50/PA++++: Superb sun protection, hydrating, non-oily and it makes a good makeup base as well

Estée Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening UV Protector SPF 50/PA++++ came to me at the right time, just before my road trip up north to Penang. I couldn’t think of the most perfect time to test out this sunscreen other than a place as hot as Penang. I’m not sure about you but the Northern part of Malaysia has always been hotter than KL in my context.

Even before the road trip, I’ve been using this Crescent White UV Protector everyday under my makeup. To be honest, I was expecting a heavy sunscreen judging from it’s creamy white consistency and that my face would be a total oil slick within the next few hours so I was really surprised to find out that I experience none of those. Tsk tsk tsk. Never judge a book by it’s cover, eh? 😀

Estée Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening: Say goodbye to dull skin and hello brighter even-toned skin!

I’ve been secretly using the full range of the NEW Estée Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening for months now. I’ve also secretly wean off from using acne mark gel and a few other skin care brand/range to the basic anti-aging and brightening skin care regime. Recently I received lots of compliment that I have good skin although personally I hated the large pores and acne marks. I was told by a BA during a makeover session that good skin to them is all about the skin texture refinement, radiance and healthy skin. According to them, I have plump, bouncy skin, glowing complexion and I don’t have pimples or wrinkles. I was secretly giggling because I was using a brand that is not theirs 😛

Last year I trial CyberWhite HD range and it gave me fantastic result. You can click on this link for the review. This year, Estée Lauder came out with a whole new Crescent White and I get to try the whole range!

Despite my professed love for CyberWhite HD and how it totally changed my brightening skin care routine, there are many who doesn’t quite like the range as much as I do due to the slippery texture and scent. I personally have no issue with that and I managed to work around it but for those who are not happy with those issues, well good news! Estée Lauder heard you and your feedback because I find that this new Crescent White is the improvised formulation of CyberWhite HD, if not better. Whatever you complaint before are rectified through this Crescent White range.

SENKA Mineral UV Essence SPF50 PA++++: First anti-aging sunscreen that is light on the skin with superior protection

Nobody like a higher SPF sunscreen that feels sticky on the skin. I certainly don’t. I stopped using sunscreen that are anything higher than SPF35 a few months ago where my face is relatively much more oilier than it was before. I’m very much into applying sunscreen on my face no matter what therefore to completely stop using sunscreen just because it’s sticky is not an option for me. I can live without cream base moisturizer but not sunscreen.

Nothing makes me happier than receiving sunscreen product. For some reason I’m obsessed with trying out all the sunscreen products available. I think we should all gift everyone sunscreen for all occassion lol. Enough of the rambling. Let’s see if SENKA Mineral UV Essence SPF50 PA++++ fits the bill for me shall we?

You get the same if not better quality as any premium or counter brands. I always said it and I’m going to say it again. Japanese made the best skincare products. Don’t you agree? 😉

Hada Labo Air Aqua UV SPF 50/PA+++ (Moist): No reason not to love a weightless, gel sunscreen this El Nino season

I go through different stages of favourite product on every month. Sunscreen is probably my favourite item at the moment. My guess is probably because our country Malaysia is experiencing El Nino at this very moment. Gift me flower and I’ll frown, gift me a bottle of sunscreen and I’ll smile for the whole week. Never like flower anyway 😛

When I received a bottle of Hada Labo Air Aqua UV SPF 50/PA+++ (Moist) from the mail a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was a day time skincare as the bottle was written “day emulsion”. I was all excited because I ran out of day time moisturizer at the same time lol. As I said earlier, I’m on the sunscreen craze at the moment. So I was equally happy with this new sunscreen from Hada Labo.
