Review: Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Silky Smooth Mist SPF50 PA+++, The 1st high SPF daily sunblock that is cooling and matte. Plus it comes in a convenient mist bottle

Judging from the title you might already know what I’m about to talk about today. The keyword – high SPF sunblock, matte and mist bottle already excite me 🙂

This, my friend is a brand new product imported directly from Japan. Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Silky Smooth Mist SPF50 PA+++ is the first of its kind daily sunblock that comes in a mist bottle. When I say the-first-of-its-kind, I do mean high SPF50 PA+++ with broad spectrum protection against UVA & UVB harmful rays, spray-on application, non-sticky (in my term it’s matte), odourless, cooling and colorless.

The very main reason why most people would rather go on the day without any sunblock on is the stickiness. Traditionally, daily sunblock (especially higher SPF ones) leaves a sticky residue on the skin that can cause discomfort and shine on the face. I don’t know if you’ve tried sunblock from years ago because I have and they stinks! Now you will have no excuse anymore to skip sunblock because Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Silky Smooth Mist SPF50 PA+++ is formulated with fine Silky Powder technology that gives a silky smooth feeling to the skin and it also has sweat control feature to keep the skin surface dry. In another word, Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Silky Smooth Mist SPF50 PA+++ is superb to be used on a hot and humid weather like Malaysia.

Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Sunblock/Sunscreen Yadah

Review: Yadah Oh My Sun Block SPF35 PA++, Decent UV Ray Protection yet Light-Weight and Non-Greasy Finishing

I’m sure you are well aware of the brand Yadah by now. How can we miss it with the cute and catchy theme right? 🙂 Perhaps due to the cartoony character mascot, many are not aware that Yadah’s range of beauty products is actually for teens and young adults. That means you and I are the target user for Yadah.

So who exactly is the red hair girl that is always associated with the brand Yadah? Her name is none other than Yadah! Yadah was created as a brilliant girl, witty and optimistic, strong and loyal and she’s often seen with her pet alien Yom Yom. Yadah also have a birth date. Do look out for special promotion somewhere in the month of May because Yadah’s birthday falls on the 3rd of May 🙂 . Now the pet alien. Yom Yom is actually bigger than Yadah in size although he’s a pet. He’s an alien with super high IQ, extremely loves to eat (which pet doesn’t?), sticks to Yadah like a glue and he’s actually forced to land on earth due to space travel mishap LOL.

There you have it. A short but interesting story on Yadah and her pet alien Yom Yom. My first encounter with Yadah was last year when Yadah invited me over for an exclusive preview on Anti-Trouble Series, Lip Tint Balm and Lovely Lip Gloss, which you can read about it at this link. This year Yadah added a few new makeup products into their existing range but the most recent new product would be this Oh My Sun Block.

Yadah Oh My Sun Block 1
No price for guessing what does this product do. Based on the straightforward product name, you’ve guessed it right. It’s a sun block. Currently Yadah only have one sun block under their belt which is the Sun Cream SPF40 PA++. I’m not a fan of that because of the scent and also the stickiness thereafter so I’m quite glad when Yadah came out with Oh My Sun Block.

Review: Skin Aqua UV Silky Smooth Milk and UV Whitening Moisture Milk, The SPF50+ PA+++ Suncare That Provides A 3-in-1 UV Defense Protection

I started using sunblock really really late and till to date I’m still counting my blessing that I did not have any brown spots all these while. I do hoard things I like and sunblock is definitely one of it. There’s this thing between me and sunblock. I use it like skincare. I don’t skip sunblock unless I accidentally ter-apply makeup base, just like today oppss!

Did you know that most premature aging is caused by sun exposure? Which is why most people will tell you that sunblock is very important. Going out under the sun without any suncare protection each day will cause noticeable changes to the skin over the years, even for just a few minutes. Scary right? Did you notice that the weather nowadays are hotter than how it used to be a few years ago? That is because the ozone layer is depleting due to human doing and ozone hole was first spotted 25 years ago, and it’s getting bigger. UV rays can cause skin cancer and cataracts in humans and reproductive problems for fish, crabs, frogs including single-celled phytoplankton at the bottom of the ocean food chain.

How do we combat these UV rays? Simple. By using sunblock or sunscreen is definitely a prevention step. The No. #1 suncare brand in Malaysia – Sunplay introduces 2 new daily sunblock recently that provides 3-in 1 UV defense namely anti-UV, anti-aging and anti-dryness.

Part 2 Review: Guerlain Blanc de Perle Smoothing UV Base Smoothes and Blurs Imperfection

If you recall a few months ago that I bought a Correcting UV Base and I said Smoothing UV Base would be in my wish list since I have large pores. No kidding. This year you will see four different UV bases in Blanc de Perle range namely UV Shield, Lightening UV Base, Smoothing UV Base and Correcting UV Base. This fluid transparent formula provides an invisibly new perfection to every skin tone. As the name suggest it smoothes over the smallest blemish while covers and reducing the appearance of dark spots, wrinkles, fine lines and signs of fatigue.

The packaging of the Smoothing UV Base is nothing to shout about besides the shiny silver screw cap, which I constantly dropped it to the floor as the screw part is too smooth. Nah, I’m just clumsy. I bet you knew that. It came in a squeeze tube that is easily controllable. Normally I would just squeeze some amount onto the back of my hand, smooth over my face and add more when necessary. This way I can prevent wastage because you just couldn’t un-squeeze the excess from the back of your hand back to the tube isn’t it? So I have no problem with the tube so far.

Neutrogena Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Sunblock/Sunscreen

Review: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Complete UV Waterlight Lotion SPF50+ PA+++

Phew what a long name for a sunblock! I was given Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Complete UV Waterlight Lotion SPF50+ PA+++ last month as a part of an event door gift. I never get sunblock as door gift before and I was kind of addicted to sunblock so I love love loveeee this!

Neutrogena4
To be frank I never seen this around at any drugstore before. Even recently when I tried to find this at Watsons and Guardian to check for the price I couldn’t find it at several outlet. How weird.

Who would have thought Neutrogena came out with a sunblock. I only know Neutrogena when it comes to skin care. And that’s pretty much it. This one is called Ultra Sheer Complete UV Waterlight Lotion which is rather confusing for me at first. Lotion is also another name for “toner”. When I saw this I thought it’s toner but then when I see that it comes with SPF50+ PA+++ I realized this could be is a sunblock.

Clarins Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Sunblock/Sunscreen

Review: Clarins UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection SPF40 UVA-UVB/PA+++ (Tinted) + Comparison with Beige Version!

I’m indecisive between editing previous Clarins UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection SPF40 UVA-UVB/PA+++ (Tinted) review with new sets of picture or post up an updated review. Finally I decided to revive the review that I posted 1 and 1/2 year ago with a new one. Which of course is the one you’re reading now.

I started out with sunscreen rather late. 2-years ago my cousin sis told me while pointing to her aunt at a wedding that if I didn’t want to have a face full with pigmentation I should use sunscreen. Her aunt is a good scare to me as her face is FULL with pigmentation. But then I was so lazy until I was on Clarins skin care that I purchase a bottle of Clarins UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection SPF40 UVA-UVB/PA+++ (Tinted).

My first bottle is a 50ml Limited Edition size. I’ve since then repurchased or gotten it free from certain best buy sets. Yes you heard me. FREE from best buy set!

The reason why I bought Tinted instead of Neutral (that time there’s no Beige yet) mainly because of the pink tint that can brighten and adjust uneven skin tone.
