Cleanser 101: Types of Facial Cleansers

While I was composing product review for a new skin care range that I’m currently on, I feel the need to walk you through types of moisturizer and how to choose the right one for your skin type. Come to think of it, it will be a bit odd (for me) if I don’t start from the cleanser up to moisturizer. Being as random as I can be sometimes, this brings us to today’s topic – Facial Cleansers.

Cleanser 101
There are so many different type, brand, texture, function and benefits cleansers out there to choose from. Sometimes I can’t help but to wonder, is it really necessary to came out with so many type? I don’t usually go with a specific cleanser targeting a skin concern unless I have a severe breakout then only I’ll start searching for something to calm the breakout. Otherwise, I’m more into texture type of cleanser.

Tips: Beauty Products Shelf Life After Opening

I feel like doing a tips post right NOW 😀 . Random, I know.

This is another episode on getting to know your beauty products, understand them and getting the best out of them. When I said “getting the best out of them” I do mean the product shelf life after opening. You know how most of us will just crack open a brand new jar of moisturiser and then forget about it until it went bad? So yeah, that one.

Know Your Skin Care: Period After Opening (PAO)

Welcome to another edition of Know Your Skin Care 😀

I was suppose to blog about this moons ago and as usual, I’ve forgotten about it 🙁 . Previously I talk about the colored square box that was found on the top edge crimp behind most skin care or product tubes. If you’ve missed it you can click on the link here to read more on it.

On a typical skin care bottle you will find a few symbol at the back of the bottle, usually at the most bottom of the bottle or jar. One distinctive symbol that most people mislook is the interesting looking jar with a lid half opened. This little jar is called Period After Opening (PAO) symbol.

Tips For A Good Night Sleep 1
Today’s update is not directly a beauty related topic but I want to share with you on a tips for a good night sleep and wakes up every morning with neck, shoulder and migrain pain free.

For the past one month I’ve been waking up with either migrain, neck pain and sometimes just a shoulder pain. But even with just a shoulder pain, I wasn’t feeling well for the whole day. I’m not just talking about once in a blue moon kind of pain but every single day I need to suffer. I know it’s a serious issue when I tried not to sleep at all.

Skin Care Tips1
Have you ever wonder what is the colored square box at the back of your skin care tube for?

At one of the blogger get-together recently, I learnt something new. Fellow blogger friends shared about the meaning of the small little square box that was found on the top edge crimp behind most skin care or product tubes. I was told that different color box bear different meaning.

Well, after some digging online I found out that all this is not true 😀

Tips: Simple Remedy for Break Out

Having break out due to monthly menstrual or reaction from new skin care? I’ve been through that all the time and each time I’m devastated looking at my face. Just when I thought I finally get those darn acne marks lighten…I had break out again and the whole process repeated. Again and again.

Throughout these years I’ve been searching and trying the best way to heal break out. After many many trial and error I finally settle with these 3 simple step. Most people regardless friends, relatives or even readers come to me saying they didn’t know what to do when they have break out. Although you don’t see if it works or not but you’d slowly realize that your skin is more clear. But none of them listen so what the heck 🙂

I’m not going to put you through 1001 ways to heal break out like what I’ve tried. I will just share with you 3 different product and steps that works for me.
