Review: Oxy Anti-Pimple Mark Gel, Recommended Solution To Pimple Mark Free Face

One of my biggest headache of all time is still pimple marks. I have no problem lighten the marks with whitening products but I can’t seems to get rid of it completely no matter what. It seems like I have a stubborn skin :(. Previously I bought and tried one of the acne scar gel from local pharmacy with a high hope but not only it doesn’t remove any marks but also gave me breakout.

When something similar but with a much more affordable price anti-pimple mark gel landed on my desk, I do not hesitate to give it a try. After all I seriously wanted to get rid of all those ugly marks!

I’m sure all of you have heard, used or know about Oxy. I still remember the old school days where I would buy Oxy anti-pimple cream for my pimples. That is what Oxy is famous for. Oxy Anti-Pimple Mark Gel is said to not only lighten pimple marks but also help to smoothen the skin while preventing blemishes as well as revitalizes the skin cells. With this new addition to the Oxy family…the anti-pimple skincare range is now complete!

Oxy Anti-Pimple Mark Gel contain high Vitamin C content and anti-oxidant which helps to lighten pimple marks and dark spots. This gel also contain Arbutin that is highly effective in brightening and rebalance the skin tone.

The tube is nothing fancy but yet easy to use. It’s good enough for me 😀

Oxy4
As the name suggest the texture is none other then a clear, scentless gel. I think this smells much better than the one I tried previously.

Despite being a clear gel that are easily absorb in, I don’t suggest using more than you should. Try to be sensible when using this. Don’t get me wrong, not that it’s going to give you breakout or something. I feel that more might not be good. Sometimes less is better :D. Another tip – apply until it’s fully absorb. I normally apply this at the end of my skin care routine. So far so good. No breakout 😀

Eager to see the result? Actually I took all the photo a few weeks ago, after using for 2 weeks. My face now is slightly better than this. Although it is said to be for pimple marks, I also apply onto pimple as well. Normally after pimple dries down the mark will appear and stay on. To prevent that I started early which is to apply onto pimple 🙂

Oxy Anti-Pimple Mark Gel can be applied on the pimple marks a few times a day before makeup. The best part is that it is suitable for all skin type. I have good faith with Oxy because of their reputation in the market.

  • Oh, is this a new product from Oxy? I have never noticed it before. I use the Oxy Maximum Strength Pimple Cream.

Slightly off topic, I remember you once posted about Nexcare pimple patch. I tried it but it did not make much difference for me. It only had effect for me if I already burst the pimple. 🙁 Now I’ve found a patch that works amazingly on my stubborn skin, Tony Moly’s AC Control Spot Patch. I found this during my travel to Kuching. 😀 I use it when I got new spots at night and by morning, they have disappeared. It’s like magic! Just thought to share this with you. 🙂

    • Yes new but not new new cause it is already out since April 2013 🙂

I was surprised to hear that for Nexcare. Cause it work even for new pimple. I’m glad there’s a better one for you :D. Ditto on Tony Moly’s AC Control Spot Patch. How much is this dear?

      • It’s RM7.90 for 12 patches. Pricey but well worth the money to me because I have super pale skin so even little marks are very obvious on my face. 🙁

Last week, a work acquaintance travelled to Kuching so I got him to buy 5 packets for me!

    • Whitening products help to brighten face complexion and slightly lighten acne marks but doesn’t remove completely. I just check. This doesn’t contain bezoyl peroxide. Yay! 🙂

  • I actually really like Oxy. This is an old-reliable brand. I am using their mattifying toner at the moment. It’s super affordable but does the job and keeps my skin clear and oil-free. I like that Oxy products are fragrance and colouring-free. I have quite sensitive skin.

    • Hi! I would only recommend applying twice a day i.e day and night. Sometimes applying too much is not a good thing either. Good luck!
