Being someone who absolutely love doing makeup on a daily basis I find it not hard at all to buy makeup remover or in this case cleansing milk. I’m constantly on the look out for makeup remover. I have no problem stocking up various brands and bottle as this is the first item that used up quite fast.

A few months ago I picked up Tebe Face Cleansing Milk and I only started using it a month later. The bottle is quite small and I had already finished the bottle some time ago without realizing I haven’t post the review up.

Tebe28
What I like about the brand; Olive & Tebe is that both range – Olive and Tebe contain virgin olive oil. Everyone know olive oil is good for the skin and virgin olive oil is even better.

Tebe29(Opps, typo error with the word make-up)

Here is the ingredient list for those that are interested. Did you see the Chamomile in it? It soothes and calm the skin which is good.

Tebe30
The bottle is slim with a longggg pump neck lol. This is the first time I see such a pump. The pump top is small, round and cute.

It dispense the cleansing milk out nicely without any problem. Thanks to it’s long neck I get a longer and smoother pump thus more cleansing milk is pumped out. So I only need 2 pump each time. I do have problem pumping the cleansing milk out when I’m left with 1/4 content. How weird.

Tebe31
To show you why I like this Tebe Face Cleansing Milk so much, I did a simple hand test so that you can have a much clearer idea on how effective this cleansing milk is.

In the below I’m using Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF10 #36 Sand. After smudging it and let it sit for a while I pumped one single pump onto the liquid foundation.

Tebe32
Unlike Clarins Cleansing Milk With Gentian which uses the “suction effect” from lifting briskly away, I’m using the massaging method with this. I find that it works better in emulsifying all the makeup. After a rinse of water follow by cleansing foam as double cleanse…my face is all clean, fresh, moisturize, soft and supple.

Tebe33
This is not a bad makeup remover / cleansing milk with a pleasant scent to it but it’s slightly on the higher price tag for me and 100ml will be gone in no time. Because I was rotating this with other cleansing milk therefore I’m able to prolong the life span of the bottle. My face is superbly soft each time I use this cleansing milk and it’s pretty amazing. I might repurchase this when there’s a promotion for Face Cleansing Milk otherwise I will not most probably.

Tebe Face Cleansing Milk is available at Metrojaya Mid Valley, Metrojaya The Curve, Metrojaya BB Plaza, Parkson Subang Parade and Parkson Sunway Pyramid.
Price: RM116 for 100ml.

One of the facial scrub that I’ve been rotating around is none other than Tebe Cleansing Face Polish that I acquired many months ago. Nearly forgotten to review this until I emptied the tube last week. But fret not…I managed to squeeze the scrub out to swatch for the review 🙂

By far this is the most expensive facial scrub that I ever bought. And the happiest purchase too. I’m very much into Olive goodness and it’s not easy to find something that are made from pure olive extract. Hence the purchase 🙂

The packaging is real simple. Just a flip-cap tube. The tube on the other hand is also well-made. I’ve been twisting, squeezing, pulling the last bit out of the tube and there’s still no visible damage on it. I’ve heard stories on how this type of tube from other brands broke by the side but mine is still going strong after all the torture I put it through lol!

Just so you know…the cap is not easy to flip open. It’s really strong and tight which is good. I can be assured that there will not be any spillage.

Tebe Cleansing Face Polish is a runny, creamy facial scrub that is not drying or harsh to the skin. Just remember not to squeeze the tube too hard when you’re dispensing the content out otherwise you’d dispense more than enough.

It goes deep to exfoliate and cleanse the skin. I like my facial scrub to have exfoliating beads in it. This one definitely have the beads. The beads is somewhat slightly coarse that others so don’t over scrub your face ya.

It is suggested to scrub on damp skin using the tip of your fingers in circular motion. Then leave it on for 2 minutes. Normally I left the scrub on my face after scrubbing and proceed with bathing. As I rinse it off with water I can feel how soft my face is even before I’m done rinsing.

As you leave the scrub on your face for a few minutes you’d feel a tingling sensation so I’d suggest you not to leave it for any longer than 2 minutes.

It’s best if you could apply any face mask after scrubbing regardless cream mask or sheet mask. The benefit from the mask will penetrate easier into the skin after all the dead skin is scrubbed off earlier. Some of you might ask is it necessary to scrub your face? My answer is yes. I scrub lesser since 2 months ago (lazy!) and small bumps start to emerge and I panicked when everyone commented saying I have congested pores. So I’m back to facial scrub now. Intensive one too 😛

Tebe Cleansing Facial Polish is available at Metrojaya Mid Valley, Metrojaya The Curve, Metrojaya BB Plaza, Parkson Subang Parade and Parkson Sunway Pyramid.
Price: RM101 for 50ml.

Earlier this week I was invited to visit theSkintopic freestanding kiosk at Subang Parade mall. I always like paying a visit to new brands to get to know the brand and products carried by them up close so that I can introduce to you gorgeous!

Beside Subang Parade Mall you can also find theSkintopic at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. I chose to visit the branch at Subang Parade Mall because I thought all of us shopper neglected that mall as everyone is too obsessed with Mid Valley, One Utama and others so I thought why not do something different this time 🙂

theSkintopic at Subang Parade Mall is located at LG Floor, exactly in front of Pizza Hut. It is huge, spacious and plenty of products to discover.

theSkintopic carries three different beauty and lifestyle brand from New Zealand namely Olive & Tebe, Linden Leaves and Wild Ferns.

First up. Olive & Tebe. Definitely not a stranger in my blog as I love a few of their products that I’m currently using which is Tebe Lip Balm, Tebe Hair Nourishing Shampoo & Hair Hydrating Conditioner, Tebe Cleansing Face Polish and Tebe Face Cleansing Milk which I haven’t review both yet.

There are a wide complete array of testers for you to try. Olive is made from extra virgin olive oil while Tebe is made from selected blend of natural and organic plant extracts and oils.

Let me introduce to your the star product of Olive & Tebe, the soap bar. You gotta try it on the spot to see the instant smooth result. One bar of this soap could last your for months!

Look what I found at the cashier counter top. Olive and Tebe Lip Balm. Also spotted is trial pack consists of 10 trial size products (if I recall correctly) for sale.

What’s new in Malaysia is Linden Leaves. This is also my favorite brand from theSkintopic. Linden Leaves uses the benefits of essential oils, plant derived exfoliants, natural moisturisers and a unique New Zealand heritage. The range consists of Skin Care, Body Care, Aromatherapy Synergy and Fragrance Diffuser. The skin care range is really not complicated. Each product is targeted to a specific concern. You won’t find two product for eye or two moisturizer for face. There’s no more confusion on which to choose with this range.

Here is Linden Leaves Body Wash, Body Lotion and Fragrance Diffuser.

The range also consists of hand creams, soap bar and body oil. Body Oil comes in 2 sizes. A 70ml and 250ml. What’s so special about this body oil is that real flower and fruits is soaked in the body oil! Something which I never seen before.

The third brand under theSkintopic is Wild Ferns. This range has the widest array of products with four collection; Kiwifruit, Manuka Honey, Lanolin and Lanolin for Him. Wild Ferns is a collection of high-quality skin care and beauty products developed and made in New Zealand. Inspired by New Zealand’s unique natural heritage, every luxurious product contains special ingredients such as manuka honey, manuka oil and kiwifruit.

Kiwifruit are naturally high in vitamins, minerals (in fact, kiwifruit have more vitamins and minerals per gram than most other fruit) and antioxidants which are all beneficial for the health and enhancement of your skin.

Manuka honey contains special antibacterial properties including an enzyme that produces hydrogen peroxide, which is a proven antiseptic. Manuka honey has higher levels of this enzyme thereby containing a greater level of antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It is extremely rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals and has the outstanding ability to nourish, soothe and heal sensitive skin.

The one collection that I’m particularly interested due to the sheep picture on the product is Lanolin. “What exactly is the product made from?”, I find myself asking this numerous times LOL! Don’t be shock but Lanolin is the natural oil extracted from the wool of the sheep, and is the closest oil in nature to that which humans produce. It is extracted after the wool is removed – a process that occurs normally once per year called shearing. This involves people usually using machinery with clippers on one end to remove the wool close to the skin of the sheep. This wool is then soaked for a period of time with Lanolin oil in its purest form rising to the surface during this time. It is then skimmed off, refined to remove all impurities then added to our range of skincare products.

Okay. I need bravery to try this collection in future 🙂

Which product review would you want to read first? Linden Leaves Fragrance Diffuser, Linden Leaves Miraculous Facial Oil with Organic White Tea or Linden Leaves Aromatherapy Synergy Memories Body Oil?

theSkintopic is now available at:

3 months back I showed you my brand new unopened makeup stash at this post http://www.street-love.net/2012/06/another-ikea-addition-lennart-drawer.html. I’ve lots of brand new skin care here and there and I’ve gotten tired searching and thinking what I have on hand. So yesterday I took out all my Clarins gift box which is taking lots of space from my huge drawer and decided to place each products in the drawer instead. I’m almost done arranging yesterday night and finished off the balance this morning.

Here is it! All in this drawer is my stock. Brand new, unopened. From right to left is Sephora gift box, Michael Kors Estee Lauder pouches, Victoria Secret Delicate Petals Body Mist (discontinued, last 2 bottles), one row of body care, one row of serum/moisturizer, one row of cleanser, one row of cleansing milk, one row of toner, one row of mix eye serum with sunblock and the last two row is gifts to future recepient lol! There’s a few more hidden in front of the drawer which I didn’t managed to capture.

Easy access and better view for me. I’m gonna put all sachets and trial size in the gift boxes that I have.
