Clinique Christmas Set 2012 Mini Haul

I had the sudden urge to get some Christmas Set from Clinique yesterday after work mainly because I’ve been lemming over Chubby Stick for the longest time. It took me so long to get Chubby Stick because I wanted to finish off some lipstick from my stash before splurging on some. Let’s just say my lipstick stash is not getting lesser and the word “Limited Edition” always won. So I gave up and hope Metrojaya Mid Valley still have some left.

I went to Clinique Service Centre which was located at Level 1 but their Chubby Stick set is sold out. The BA immediately pick up the phone and call Metrojaya for me  and they still have one last set. When I reached Metrojaya there’s 2 girls trying out the colors of Chubby Stick and I saw them holding the set briefly. Yesterday was also voucher day whereas you’d get RM20 voucher for RM150 purchase. So I picked up More Than Moisture set as well.

The Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm set is known as Whole Lotta Colour. It is selling for RM110. This is what is in the set:

  • Super Strawberry – 1.2g
  • Oversized Orange – 1.2g
  • Curvy Candy – 1.2g
  • Richer Raisin – 1.2g
  • Chunky Cherry – 1.2g

I didn’t see Total Moisture Set (RM185) at the counter as per Clinique Facebook page. So I picked up the one and only More Than Moisture set which was selling for RM175. The set contains:

  • Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief – 50ml (Full Size. Retail Price: RM165)
  • All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage – 5ml
  • Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss – 5ml
  • Pink Net Pouch

Have you pick up any Christmas set from Clinique yet?

  • Hehe, Christmas came early 🙂 The Chubby Stick set is so lovely! I like the size and colours, just nice! I am looking around at Sephora and also FB pages for the holiday sets which are available. So far I have not found any cosmetics set which I am keen. Thinking of getting Sigma brush set and Urban Decay Naked 2, lol…they are not holiday sets. Was hoping that Urban Decay will have some nice sets. OH, Lancome holiday set is to drool over 🙂

    • For Sephora I’m eyeing on Too Faced Love Sweet Love (RM149) makeup set :). It’s quite cheap considering all the item included.

  • Oh yes! Great minds and eyes think and see alike 🙂 I was looking at the Sephora FB page and saw that set. Looks like a good set which is value for money and complete for a full face make up. Hehe!

    • Actually I’ve always wanted to try Shadow Insurance but because my UDPP is still a lot so I kept it on hold. This set came just at the right time and cheap too. I randomly google for real product photo and the eyeshadow looks good. If it’s RM200++ I’m not buying but slightly more than RM100 is too hard to resist haha

  • Lol, Sephora…must go in fast and come out fast if not the credit card will have a swiping good time there. I heard from my friend Sephora has those cute Benefit travel sets as well. Lol…I guess Christmas is the best time to get these sets. You’re right, the Too Faced is priced reasonably well so it is tempting 😉

    • But I normally don’t have anything to buy at Sephora. What are you eyeing besides Lancomes set? I heard from my friend that the set will only come out end of Nov.

  • Hey, thanks to you, i managed to grab the Clinique RM185 total moisture set! it was so worth it =DD although now i feel abit guilty for spending. told myself not to spend on skincare at least till next year but i couldn’t resist! the offer was really worth it.
really wanted to buy the Chubby Sticks set too but i think it might be a waste coz i hardly use lipstick/lipbalm/lip colour. but looks soooo cute! thank goodness i didnt see the actual set when i was at clinique yday. haha

oo btw have u tried their Laser repair products? i think they have serum/essence (or something) and eye cream in that range. what’re your thoughts about it?

    • Yay for Moisture Set! It’s really good. I woke up with bouncy face every morning with this.

I’m using their Repairwear serum and eye cream sample redeemed not long ago. I can’t tell exactly how the serum works now cause I’ve been using on and off. But I can tell you that I like the consistency of the serum; not thick and absorbed almost immediately. Face looks better when I’m using this. Might be picking this up after I’m done with ANR 😉

As for the eye cream I like it! Lines under my eye are more even.
