Can Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Eye Serum Replace Eye Cream?

Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Eye Serum
Do you remember the time where we get the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules all the time in our beauty box many years ago? To be honest with you I have no idea what they was and how great they are. I kept them for a bit, they got expired and I threw everything away. Just two days ago, I attended the launch of Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Eye Serum, which I will refer to as Ceramide Eye Capsules in short from now onwards 😛 . The actual name is a mouthful LOL.

I am all-in when it comes to eye care. I don’t skip my eye cream because I have really dry under eyes with deep wrinkles 🙁 . So compared to other people, I go all out on eye care. Having said that, sometimes I do went overboard and stop everything for a while I notice oil seeds forming. Yes, that do happens especially if the eye cream is too rich.

At the event, I learnt what is Ceramide and why the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules for the face is such a hit product. Our skin has somewhat like brick walls and what is holding these bricks together is something called “ceramide”. And Elizabeth Arden’s Ceramide serum is said to mimic our skin’s ceramide. Now that the Ceramide Eye Capsules are launched, I personally feel that the range is more complete.

Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules Range
Just for the eye serum, Elizabeth Arden used a brand new and improved Ceramide technology has been reimagined for the eyes, which is understandably the most delicate part of the face. Based on the previous 25 years of research, the formula was updated by adding extra 9 new ingredients to replenish essential naturally-occurring lipids and also to assist in supporting the skin’s natural renewal process. As this is an anti-aging product, Ceramide Eye Capsules also target all the key signs of aging. What the serum does is to immediately enhance the skin’s natural barrier by increasing the moisturization on the skin surface and hence reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

One thing good about these rubbery capsules is that they are absolutely biodegradable. These serums are in individual capsules and are meant for one usage only so that every time you use the product, you can be sure of the freshness and concentrated dose of moisture-boosting serum. The new formulation contain Ceramide 1,3, and 6. Ceramide 6 has AHA-like structure and it acts as a barrier renewal for a smoother, softer complexion. Other ingredients are as follow:

Skin Barrier Protection
– Ceramide 1, Ceramide 3, Ceramide 6, Cholesterol, Fatty Acids, Phytosphingosine, and Sea Fennel Extract.

Moisturization
– Botanical Complex Technology and Vitamin E.

Anti-Aging
– Tsubaki Oil, Hops Extract, Butcher’s Broom Extract, Vitamin A Palmitate, and Palmitoyl + Hexapeptide – 14.

  • Oh no….cringed when I read “tossing away”. These can be kept, given the non-invasive packing that protects the oils from air and light (except for the clear capsule). Maybe to auction off as a fund for #IWillBeOkay?

    • Babe, those are years ago. It has expired for years. There’s no way I can sell it even though it’s for #IWillBeOkay as people just don’t buy expired stuff 🙁
