Guardian Sunway Pyramid Unveiled with New Exclusive Concept for Better Customer Shopping Experience

Guardian Sunway Pyramid underwent a renovation recently and the portfolio of the new exclusive Guardian concept store design was unveiled on the 22nd August 2017. This particular Guardian store at Sunway Pyramid is not a stranger to me because I frequently visited this store on weekly basis whenever I am at the mall.

This would be Guardian’s fourth latest concept store, a different one from Mid Valley store if you ask me. The upgrade was necessary as Guardian Malaysia’s commitment to their customers are to constantly reinvent itself to enhance shopping experience.

Beauty Bar

What’s different with this Guardian Sunway Pyramid store is that they have beauty bars on the front of the store and beauty islands right behind it. Beauty bars are a customer interactive section whereas customers can try out the products and then grab the products from the drawers. Beauty islands on the other hand housed various cosmetic brands from local, Korea and Japan, which are placed accordingly to selection and demographics.

This will also be the first store that has all 10 new cosmetic brands from top Korean, Japanese, Indonesia and local makes. Among the new brands are – Beauty People (Korea), Elle 18 (India), Feeblin (Korea), LB Cosmetics (Japan), Kiss Me Ferme (Japan), Pixy Cosmetics (Indonesia), Sea N Tree (Korea), Sugarbelle (local), TOV (Korea) and VT Cosmetics. All these brand are categorized in rows at the beauty island according to the country and demographics.

Guardian is also the first to stock Sugarbelle cosmetics, a brand founded by renowned boutique owner Belle Yahya.

What I like about the new Guardian concept store overall is the bright lighting. No more yellowish fluorescent lighting that would interrupt any makeup swatches and deciding on the right shades are much more easier.

And of course I am naturally attracted to skincare, especially when it is all displayed in a bright, clean racks. Guardian now has categorized all their skincare selection into different needs such as derma skincare that has skincare brands such as Avene, Bioderma, Uriage, Eucerin, sensitive skin, natural and organics like Sukin and Skinfood as well.

Other brands are all placed in the island at the skincare aisle. It’s really therapeutic browsing and looking at these neatly arranged products. Everything has its own testers for customers who wish to try before purchasing.

Guardian also focus their Health Care section that has also been redesigned to enhance customer experience with easy on-shelf navigation, and educational signage that will be added on by end of the month. These signs will help shoppers to look out for the right products according to their needs. And lastly the store has dedicated Vitamins Corner with a range of Guardian brand of vitamins for adult and children. All at high quality and affordable price.

If you make a purchase of RM100 on cosmetic products, you can also request for a glam makeover. If doing it on the spot is not your thing, you can bring the receipt back to the store and request for the makeover 🙂
