Chinese Magazine Paul & Joe Review: Magazine VoCE Magazine

VoCE Taiwan September 2010 X Paul & Joe Notebook

Thanks to Saltvinegar blog post a few days ago, I managed to get this copy as well. Lately I was eyeing on a diary for next year and this is just right for some scribble. With my super hectic work schedule for the past 2 weeks, I didn’t even have the time to sneak out. I was summon to stay in office and managed our KLIMS (KL International Motor Show) calendar. Only today I can go out to see my clients + send magazines and I was hesitating to search for this particular magazine not knowing if it’s still available. Anyhow, I’m glad I spare some time and boy I went crazy!

I bought 6 copies in total :p. Each copy is selling at RM8.80. The cashier is kind enough to call Chinese department and told them to bring over 6 pieces of the brand item. She commented that the magazines is very heavy when I said I’d go over instead.

My initial plan is to get 2 copies. I grabbed the 2 copies on stand thinking it was the last 2 copies but then I saw a lot more lying below and I grabbed another 3 copies. Although I really wanted to buy all!! Then I called one of my client who is a guy but as kepoci as a girl *lol* and he want one as well. So I get another copy and the total is 6 copies!

VoCE September 2010 issue comes with Paul & Joe notebook brand item. The print is same with my recent magazine puchase which comes with Paul & Joe vanity case and pouch.

Brand item blurp on main cover.

Paul & Joe loose insert which is a cardboard. Very creative indeed.

Paul & Joe notebook. Very similar with my Coach Poppy 2011 diary. Different is this notebook is more sturdy, more thicker and inner pages is blank.

Even the back is same with Coach Poppy 2011 diary.

First page of the notebook.

Owh, there’s month indicated in the notebook. Nice!

I love all the blank flowery pages.

I love this notebook very much. One of the best purchase ever. I’ve always like diary and notebooks. Never seems to get enough of diary. Which explains why I bought 5 copies for myself. Maybe I like to jot down notes too much. I find jotting down notes is useful. Even my CEO like me for using my diary very often. She say every sales person should do like what I do hahaha.

Chinese Magazine FG Magazine Majiami Review: Magazine

FG 美妆 Taiwan October 2010 X Majiami

Another magazine that I picked up last Saturday together with Gisele December 2010 issue.

I’ve been eyeing on this since the magazine is available in Kinokuniya and I didn’t know why I reserved from buying it till it was the last copy on stand. Weird huh. I can’t understand either. Maybe I didn’t find the interest in having another skincare samples but recently I was scouting for another skincare type and this came to my mind. Maybe that’s why I decided to get it. Majiami is selling at Watsons and it’s quite pricey. I wouldn’t want to jump into another new skincare brand that is pricey but doesn’t work on me. This sample is a good try.

The magazine is selling at RM18.93 and comes with 3 Majiami samples which consists of 2 samples in tube and 1 in sachet.

Magazine with Majiami sample set.

Close-ups of the sample set.

Pore cleanser 2ml in sachet packet.

The back of the sachet card.

The sachet is glued on the card. This makes the sampling sachet looks better & doesn’t makes me feel like it’s cheap as I don’t normally like sachet packets.

IMHO, cleanser should be in tube form and not sachet. If face cream then ok la.

The Whitening Lotion 10ml is another story. It was packed in a cute box.

The info on the back of the box.

As you opened the box, this is how it looks like. Very creative I would say.

Closer look at the Whitening Lotion bottle. Cute.

Whitening Scrub 10ml comes with a box packaging as well. But it’s boxed up rather different than the lotion. You can see the tube from outside.

Close-up of the Whitening Scrub…

I would say this is a good buy. Never regretted buying this. Could this be my next skincare?
