Heavy Rotation Make Up - Eyes Review: Make Up Watsons

Review: Heavy Rotation Pencil Liner

There’s 1 thing that I never put on when applying makeup which is eyeliner. I never skip every other thing from makeup base for face and eye till lipstick. Only eyeliner. I remembered the BA at Clinique counter once asked me before why I never apply eyeliner. I gave her an excuse that my lid is too oily, eyeliner smear on me, I don’t know how to draw and many many more excuses. The ironic this is. . .my colleagues in the office doesn’t apply ANYTHING but eyeliner. Hah. I always feels that they are so weird that they don’t put on anything but eyeliner. Till now I still think they are weird!

Anyway. I decided to get a good eyeliner pencil and start sharpening my skill drawing it. Last week I was at Watsons KLCC and I happen to saw the one from Heroin Make and Heavy Rotation. I did a quick search with on Blackberry and the reviews for Heroin Make was blah and the reviews for Heavy Rotation is good so I decided to pick that instead. There’s 3 type of eyeliner which is liquid, gel and pencil. I don’t want anything to melt on me so I decided to get the pencil one instead. Their Pencil Liner was on discount and I got it at RM35.91.

The packaging and brand name was a bit tempting to me. I could imagine myself with eyeliners on now haha.

The directions which I never read lol. Sorry!

The pencil is long and thin. Packaging is not filmsy at all and pretty well made and felt heavy.

It looks more like crayon liner than pencil and it does glides on like crayon too. Perhaps this is a combination of pencil + crayon?

On the other tip of the pencil is actually a blending tip/sponge and hidden inside is a sharpener! How cool is that? I haven’t use both of that yet so we’ll see.

This is how the “tool” included looks like.

I like how black the liner is. Very pigmented, smooth and easy to draw.

On the first day, I drew a very very thin line and it wasn’t really visible (but to myself). This time I use a different method and sequence of applying eyeliner. After 2-way foundation, I applied ELF Eyelid Primer. Then I applied another layer of 2-way foundation on my lids. After that I apply eyeliner, follow by eyeshadow, touch up eyeliner, curl my lashes, touch up eyeliner again, apply mascara base and last is mascara. I find this step works to avoid eyeliner from smudging but the eyeliner was transfered to the eyelash curler and I have to reapplied again. As I mentioned before the eyeliner is something like a crayon liner. So I tried a different sequence the next day.

On the second day, I curl my lashes follow by eyeliner, then eyeshadow, touch up on the eyeliner, apply mascara base and mascara. No dramatic change in the sequence. And this is even better. I need not to reapply my eyeliner twice and this save me lots of time. Same as first day…there’s no smudges from the eyeliner.

Here’s the pictures taken on the second day when I got home from work. I use minimal eyeshadow on second day to try out how the eyeliner stand out. What I applied on the whole lid is a pinkish beige eyeshadow from Majolica Majorca and brow highlight from MM as well. I was so afraid I have panda eye the whole day and keep checking on the mirror!

I drew a fatter line and I was surprise how good the eyeliner looks like. No fading or smudges at all at the crease.

No smudges too on the lid, bottom lid and everywhere else!

Good purchase, good price cause it’s a really good product. I have oily lids and it doesn’t smudge on me nor the eyeliner will fade out. No regret here. Will I repurchase? Definitely!

Hada Labo Make Up - Lips Review: Make Up Watsons

Review: Hada Labo Lip Moisturizer

Another stuff that I picked up during my last Watsons haul at KLCC a few weeks ago.

I was about to pay for Maxilip lip balm till I saw this. It’s at a pricey tag of RM19.90 and I got it at RM17.91 after discount. Since this lil tube contain Super Hyaluronic Acid. . .I wouldn’t mind investing on a good lipbalm. And good indeed this is! I never found any lipbalm which is as moisturizing as this. It doesn’t have sticky feeling, will not cake a line on your lips after long hours and I applied this as a base before lipstick. This lipbalm is colourless, odorless and it doesn’t gives you a nauseous feeling.

Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Lip Moisturizer at RM17.91 after discount. The tube is visible from inside of the box.

Back of the packaging box.

Closed up on description.

What’s holding the tube in place inside the box is this clear holder.

As you can see, the tube is white with Hada Labo blue logo. It’s a simple design tube. I like how simple it is.

The lipbalm is colourless and odorless. Doesn’t the look itself is indeed moisturizing?

Here’s how it looks on the lips!

Hair Care - Styling Product Liese Watsons

Review: Liese Designing Jelly II Swing Wave

A while ago I bought 2 scrunchies to hold the curls on my hair when I sleep. The curl turns out to be gorgeous but does not last at all on my hair as I have long, straight and soft hair. Sad to say the curl was gone in less than 30 minutes! Since I was a kid till err now? my hair is stubbornly straight + smooth and my mum doesn’t seem to be successful in plating my hair. If I want to tong or curl my hair, I need not to waste the time. I just need to go for permanent hair perming which I can’t stand. So I decided to pick up Liese Designing Jelly in #II Swing Wave with a slight hope this can hold my hair till end of the day. Choosing this was a painful experience too as they have I, II, III and IV. Each have a different name which is very misleading as there’s also another advise to pick up accordingly to the strongness you want. After wasting so much time deciding I picked up #II Swing Wave simply because it’s for creating wavy hair.

Liese Designing Jelly II Swing Wave retailing at RM28.80. Can’t remember this is original price or after discount.

I agree on the tagline “No sticky wax feeling or stiff gel look”. It really doesn’t!

Back of the packaging.

The bottle is cute!

Especially the cap. You can see the cap resemble a rose and cute lil butterflies around the cap.

Pump works great but sometimes could over dispense the content out if we press too hard.

The content is transparent in colour. Smells nice and the smell is exactly the same with Lucidol product.

Tadaaa! This is the result of using the product while sleeping haha. Step by step on how to create a wavy hair on later post.

The only thing I regret is not getting #III or #IV. Should have gotten stronger ones.

Doll Lash Make Up - Beauty Tools Review: Make Up Watsons

Review: Doll Lash Eyelash Curler

At last I ditched my ELF eyelash curler! I was about to buy Shu Uemura or MAC eyelash curler as those two have the best review. But I managed to find a far better affordable brand for Asian eyes.

Doll Lash is another brand under Empro from Korea. Their eyelash curler is retailing at RM19.80 and I got it at RM17.80 after 10% discount at Watsons a few weeks ago. I have read reviews that their eyelash curler shape is made to suit Asian eyes. At that point of time I have high hope on this curler and I wasn’t disappointed.

Here’s a short review 🙂

Simple and sweet packaging. I always love pink.

Back of the packaging.

Up-close at the description behind the packaging.

The curler out from the box. Looks like it’s standing “kangkang” right? *lol*. This is a powerful curler. Don’t let the look deceive you.

When I say the curler is powerful, I really do mean it. I never had to not curl hard. This curler is so powerful that you only need a gentle press. Just a gentle one. Here is the picture to prove it.

My naked eyes with uncurl lashes.

Here is my lashes after just one gentle curl!

And here is my lashes after applying just a coat of Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Neo.

My Personal Review:-
Price is much more affordable compared with Shu Uemura. I think due to the design of the curler, you need not to press all the way. Just a gentle press will do the magic. If you press too hard, there’ll be a funny square curl. I see no breakage of eyelash from using this curler. Too bad there’s no extra refill included. Repurchase of this curler will be needed after some time.

Neutrogena Watsons

Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub

Out of the blue. . .I woke up one day thinking I need a daily/everyday scrub. I felt that my face is dirty with all the makeup everyday and I wanted to scrub after I remove my makeup. The scrub must be mild but good for everyday use.

So I went scouting at Watsons (yes again) yesterday at KLCC. I particularly love Watsons at KLCC as the varieties there is huge, neat and I find the store is easy to browse through.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub *aiyo what a mouthful name* 100g is retailing at RM15.92 after discount. The smell of the scrub is peachy kinda smell and I love it.

Like Clean & Clear, there’s protective seal on the tube head too!

Clean & Clear Watsons

Clean & Clear Deep Action Cleanser

I use cleanser more and faster than other skincare. Which is good as I could try different cleanser till I found a really good one.

I stumble upon this at Watsons last weekend (yes I do shop at Watsons almost everyday lol) and I decided to give it a try after reading that the new range is good. I don’t remember how much is this but I think it is retailing at RM10.80 after discount.

I like the protective seal on this cleanser assuring me that this is unopened.

As I was paying at the cashier counter, I can’t help but to notice lots of this sample size Clean & Clear cleanser which is the same that I was paying at that time behind the cashier. I asked the cashier if that is for free or for purchase. I think the cashier is new so she asked a guy next to her and he immediately scan the sample and put it in my shopping bag! =). I’m a happy girl.

The cleanser is not really sample size’s size. It’s quite huge at 20g.

What it claim to do…
