I was honored & happy when I found out that I was going to attend the launch event of Rolls Royce Ghost on 27th January 2010. The event was organised by Ogilvy for Quill Motocars Sdn Bhd who is the authorised dealer for Rolls Royce in Malaysia. Besides Rolls Royce, Quill also carries another high end car brand; BMW.
The event was very grand & happening. I have always deal with a client on Rolls Royce advertisement but I never seen the car in real & up-close. I must thank my ex-CEO; Kate for babbling & yacking on and on that we (the Business unit ppl) “never” attended any event and that I was forced to go for this. I wanna make it clear…just because she didn’t see us there doesn’t mean we never go for launches. WE DO GO laaa.
As usual, we’ll be given a door gift which contains media kit for us to bring back to our Editor and a small gifts. Normally there’s t-shirt, pens, keychains and many more other things. Each client gave different gifts. Its not necessary all those mentioned above is in the bag lol. My fav of all before this event is definately the Press Launch of signing ceremony between Mofaz Motorsports and Petronas. But now…this is my favourite door gift of all!
Brandon; my colleague with his itchy hand stuck his hand in the bag to see what’s in it. He saw a black box. I saw a black box too. But we didn’t take out to see what’s in the secretive black box. I took out the black box when I was stopping at a traffic light as I was reaching home. As I removed the cardboard, I saw this black box with an initial of RR at the front.
There’s 2 soft velvetly cloth covering. As I unfold it slowly excitely, I found this inside!
A small leather case. Real leather!! Smells awesome too *lol*
Inside of the zip compartment is a hidden 3-keyholder. Now I’m confuse what this is. A coin purse, keyholder or cardholder. Why do I saw cardholder? Check out pic #4.
Tadaaaa! A card compartment at the back of the wallet.
This is the most memorable gift of all. How often do you get a Rolls Royce card wallet or merchandise? =)
Btw, did you notice all the pictures above and on Skin79 is nice & clear? Thats because I bought a new camera yesterday. I got a Canon Ixus 95IS in Grey colour at a bargain price of RM599 + 2GB Memory Card + Original Leather Case *grins*
