Right after I bought my Coach Soho Pleated Signature Large Hobo, I placed my order for Apple Designer Care Kit from a seller online. The kit is selling at RM169 inclusive of PosLaju delivery.
Kit contains:
1 x 4oz Apple cleaner (bottle #1 in pic)
1 x 4oz Apple leather care (bottle #2 in pic)
1 x Apple Garde rain & stain repellent (bottle #4 in pic)
1 x Shine cloth
1 x Care guide
1 x Clear vinyl zippered case
I use Apple Cleaner to clean the leather trims on all my bags. It’s only for leather. Not for fabric.
Many reviews in TPF says that this is harsh and the cleaner take off the colour of the leather a bit. This is true. I experienced it but its not bad till it lighten the leather and spoil the leather. I actually thought that’s the dirt lol. I guess I was too late. I read TPF after I’ve done cleaning all my bags haha.
After I clean all the leather trims, I let all the bags to dries up and I follow up with Apple Leather Care. This is like some kind of moisturizer to bring back the shine, moisture and soften the leather after harsh cleaning. This is really good. My small leather purse is really shinny and moisturized after applying this. Reviews at TPF says that this bottle can act as leather cleaner AND moisturizer at one time. I’ll try that next time.
After the bags dries up nicely, I stain garde all the bags with Apple Garde Rain & Stain Repellent. This will lock-in all the moisture that I did earlier and prevent the bag from oil, stain, rain and dirt from staining the bag. I actually sprayed 1 layer only and decided to do a second layer. Gosh. This process takes me more than a month as I only have weekend free time to spare to do this. The bag need to be air-dry for 24 hours for one side before doing the other side.
As for the 3rd bottle in the picture, it’s Coach Signature Fabric Cleaner. I bought this from another seller for RM50 inclusive of PosLaju delivery. Coach boutique is selling this for RM75. I use this if there’s any stain on my signature fabric only. It feels like water but it’s very effective. I managed to remove a few stains including a recent glue stain on my new wallet. I guess this bottle will lasts me very very long.
