Estée Lauder Make Up - Face Review: Make Up

Review: Estée Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Crème SPF 35/PA+++

This review is the most exciting one for me to write as I’ve tried and love the new Estée Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Crème SPF 35/PA+++. Phew! What a mouthful. I’m just gonna refer this as BB Crème ya. This is also one of the many product which I bought after trying a sample. No doubt many people redeemed sample just for the fun of doing it (no offense, it’s the reality!) but I genuinely wanted to try before purchasing. So kudos to sampling program!

A long list of it!

The one that I bought is old packaging and it’s retailing for RM175 for 30ml. I bought it in March 2012 which is when the new packaging is not available yet. No regret as I gotten a few sample size of CyberWhite skin care which was bundled with this BB Crème alone. And also I managed to snag a set of Michael Kors 2011 Holiday Set just before the stocks was returned back to their HQ 🙂

Eventhough I like the new blue tube packaging, this isn’t that bad. It’s very similar to a few of my Clarins so I’m used to this packaging. Love the shiny, smooth white tube!

Keeping things minimal on the back of the BB Crème tube.

I like that there’s a protection seal. This assures me that the tube is new, unopened and fresh!

Unlike any other BB cream, this Estée Lauder CyberWhite BB Crème is light, brighten up my face and has good oil control. It doesn’t clog pores too. In my past experience using BB cream I always ended up with shiny face after a few hours and clogged my pores until I have black heads! With this BB Crème I don’t have that problem. So girls if you wanted to try and use BB cream, try to stay away from Korean brands etc etc and try this instead. Others are too thick.

Here is how the BB Crème look like. As it only comes in 1 shade, the color of the BB Crème is not too light or too dark. I thought I can spot some pink tone but I guess that’s the brightening effect in the BB Crème 🙂

Upon spreading evenly, my skin instantly brighten up! The coverage is not as thick and as oily as other BB cream in the market but this covers up my redness, acne, acne scar and uneven skin tone perfectly.

Just look at the brightening effect on the below picture. Wonderful isn’t it.

Here is the before and after picture. I’m satisfied with the result very much!

And here is the complete look.

Estée Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Crème SPF 35/PA+++ complements my Clarins Powder Compact which is darker shade very much. The compact applies smoothly on top of the BB Crème without caking. Estée Lauder BB Crème doesn’t oxidize on me and last the whole day. Excellent oil-control which is the main reason why I love this. What else can I say but I LOVE THIS BB Crème VERY MUCH!!

1) Pricey for a 30ml BUT a little goes a long way. I received a 5ml tube from the purchase and that 5ml tube alone last me for more than 2 weeks.
2) Good oil control, doesn’t oxidize, doesn’t cake your compact powder.
3) Brightens up skin immediately.
4) Medium coverage but covers up pretty well. Coverage is build-able so not to worry.
5) Doesn’t clog pores!

YES! YES! YES!!

  • This BB cream is better than Korean brands BB cream. It doesn’t oxidize on me, a major plus point. Love it!

    • Agree! I said the same thing too in my review 😉

      • I apply EL BB cream sparingly, like what I did with my Korean brands BB cream. The staying power (EL BB cream) is better, and somehow my skin is matte, not as oily as when I used Korean brands BB cream.
