Last year I wasn’t able to run at the PUMA Night Run 2016 due to “runner’s feet” syndrom aka Plantar Fasciitis, which my friend referred to as the “Planta” 🙂 . Because I already registered as media months before, I still went as I do not want to back out last minute. I wouldn’t want to miss the event for anything! Plus I will be fulfilling my duty as media for the event. I had to walk the entire 12km in pain. Not fun at all but at least I gave a good sportsmanship and went, instead of sulking about the pain at home. Let’s just say after the event I have to do a lot of ice bottle rolling and golf ball rolling recovery 😛
The fourth edition of PUMA Night Run Malaysia 2017 is set to be held in Cyberjaya, 5th August 2017, with RM16,500 worth of prizes to be won. The event also aim to attract 12,000 participants this year as opposed to 10,000 target for 2016. Can they do it? You bet they can. I have no doubt about it.

This year, for the first time ever, PUMA has opened two different categories- 6km and 12km. This synchronizes with other countries’ PUMA Night Run all together.
Entry Fee & Runner’s Entitlements
The entry fee for the PUMA Night Run Malaysia 2017 is set at RM119 for 12km and RM89 for 6km (exclusive of GST). All participants for successful registration would receive a PUMA Race Kit, which includes a PUMA Night Run tee, PUMA towel, PUMA shoe bag, finisher’s medal (to be given after the race) and other sponsored freebies. In addition to that, PUMA is also loading up the Race Kits with some super cool goodies such as glow in the dark shoe laces, LED arm bands and glow sticks to add to the fun.

If you’ve participated in the #IWillBeOkay Trail Hike, you would have gotten a PUMA towel so you know that is a good stuff. The shoe bag is the best item to receive in a race kit. You will not get it from any other running event 😉
And a super cool finisher’s medal.
Top 3 finishers of the 12km men and women categories will each receive RM2,500, RM2,000 and RM1,500 worth of PUMA vouchers respectively. On the other hand, the winners of the 6km men and women categories will go home with RM1,000, RM750 and RM500 worth of PUMA vouchers respectively.
I am going back PUMA Night Run Malaysia 2017 with a vengeance! lol. See you there!
