Back in August, I was invited over to Sulwhasoo’s Pavilion Centre Court roadshow event for the introduction of the two brand new products as well as to see myself the history of Sulwhasoo’s 50 years of ginseng research, as well as to go upclose and personal on the signature Poje Optimizing Process™.

Poje Optimizing Process™ is a method Sulwhasoo used to process herbal medicinal plants in various methods to maximize the efficacies of the ingredients. It is a process that embodies tradition dedication, which was used up until this day to process all the key ingredients.

Honeyed Process™

Maturing of ingredients with all-natural honey to harmonize efficacies. Solomon’s seal and white lily from the JAUM Balancing Complex™ go through this process

Salted Process™

First aged in salt, and then roasted on a fire to lower toxic levels in ingredients and help creating clear skin tone. Ingredients of skin brightening products, such as the mulberry root go through this process.

Steamed Process™

Ingredients steamed and sundried. A crucial process for ginseng ingredients. Ginseng become processed to red ginseng with more various concentrated Saponins.

Chui-Song-Jung Method

Raw ingredients ground into powder, repeated boiled in water, then sundried. The beneficial properties of red pine requires these steps for proper extraction.

Alcohol Steamed Process™

Ingredients aged in alcohol then steamed to activate their beneficial components, Jeongyangdan, the special formula for men’s skincare requires this process.

It is structured with two different layers – inner layer takes care of the skin with a comfortable fit, while outer layer embraces the skin tightly to allow the formula penetrating into the skin effectively.
