Hada Labo Make Up - Lips Review: Make Up Watsons

Review: Hada Labo Lip Moisturizer

Another stuff that I picked up during my last Watsons haul at KLCC a few weeks ago.

I was about to pay for Maxilip lip balm till I saw this. It’s at a pricey tag of RM19.90 and I got it at RM17.91 after discount. Since this lil tube contain Super Hyaluronic Acid. . .I wouldn’t mind investing on a good lipbalm. And good indeed this is! I never found any lipbalm which is as moisturizing as this. It doesn’t have sticky feeling, will not cake a line on your lips after long hours and I applied this as a base before lipstick. This lipbalm is colourless, odorless and it doesn’t gives you a nauseous feeling.

Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Lip Moisturizer at RM17.91 after discount. The tube is visible from inside of the box.

Back of the packaging box.

Closed up on description.

What’s holding the tube in place inside the box is this clear holder.

As you can see, the tube is white with Hada Labo blue logo. It’s a simple design tube. I like how simple it is.

The lipbalm is colourless and odorless. Doesn’t the look itself is indeed moisturizing?

Here’s how it looks on the lips!

Make Up - Eyes Review: Make Up The Face Shop

Review: The Face Shop Eyelash & Eyebrow Nutrition Liquid

Remember the post about my broken eyelash problem? Read here. Well. . .the L’Oreal Renewal Lash Serum that I bought doesn’t help. The serum may helped in strengthening my lashes and growth of my lower lash but done absolutely nothing to help the growth of my broken lashes. It has been almost a month now and I was panicking.

One day I remembered about The Face Shop Eyelash & Eyebrow Nutrition Liquid which I bought many years ago. So I headed to The Face Shop in Aeon Cheras Selatan in Balakong and bought it. The retail price is RM19.90 and I got it at RM11.95 after their 40% discount Christmas sales. The male SA was trying hard to get me to buy 2 but I hesitated. Mum even told me to buy extra as it’s very cheap. Maybe I’ll return to get the 2nd tube.

The Face Shop Eyelash & Eyebrow Nutrition Liquid new packaging! No longer in transparent tube where you can see lots of yucky residue from our eyelash or eyebrow floating inside. The tube is better made now too. Previous tube will melt and broke by its own at the screw top.

Not sure why they named it Eyebrow Essence now. It’s totally useless for eyebrow.

The brush is exactly same with mascara brush. It is hard, coarse and painful when applying. Most of the time I’d brush some to the root of my eyelashes to speed the growth. Twice a day I make sure I applied the nutrition directly to the root. Yes I was that desperate. The essence on the other hand is in peachy colour. Smells nice and sweet too. It’ll sting your eye if you accidentally applied too much though.

My Personal Review & Experience?
I applied twice a day. Once in the morning before I curl my eyelashes and once in the night time followed by L’Oreal Renewal Lash Serum to strengthen my lashes as well before I go to sleep.
After just using about a week. I notice my broken lashes are longer. It no longer poke my eyelid when I sneeze. Which only means that the lashes are longer and they’re not short and spiky anymore. I always check on my eyelashes growth and I thought they’re slow. But everything changed when I tried applying mascara on the broken lashes just 3 days ago. Then only I found out how much it has grown. I too notice some fine lashes growing as well. At least my lashes are thicker now.

Here comes the result! Too bad I didn’t thought of taking the “before” picture =(

Front view. Notice the missing lashes in the middle? It was just above the curve which make things worse. But see how it’s noticeable now? It used to be blank!

Side view.

Close-up view.

And here’s the final look with mascara. Although not as long as the rest but I’m pretty happy with this progress.

Make Up - Eyes Review: Make Up The Face Shop

Review: The Face Shop Auto Eyebrow Pencil

After a few Missha Automatic Eyebrow Pencil, I switched back to The Face Shop. I didn’t have time to wait for a week for Missha delivery so the best alternative is TFS.

Besides rude SA, I was suprised to see the holder of the eyebrow pencil has changed from pretty light green with flower print to just plain beige.

The Face Shop Auto Eyebrow Pencil – NP RM19.90, after current 10% discount is RM17.90.

I got myself Dark Brown colour.

TFS products is Made In Korea. Same with Missha as well.

I have no idea what is it with “Lovely ME:EX” on the pencil.

A brush is included at one end of the pencil. Which is same with Missha as well. I hardly use this actually.

Brand new lead fresh from the pencil. The tip is not narrowly shaped for easy drawing.

Comparison between Missha and TFS. Both is dark brown. As Missha is used, the colour appears here is more softer. TFS lead is new and not narrowly shaped for first application so the colour appears more stiff and harsh.

Here’s how it looks like when I used it for the first time today.

My Personal Review:-
Maybe due to my recent change in skincare, my face appears more supple and hydrated therefore Missha’s automatic eyebrow pencil doesn’t stay put. The colour used to stay longer on my skin though. No doubt about it. Nowadays when I accidentally swipe my hair from my face, the colour will be wiped off too. As the price of Missha’s is only RM9, I would have purchase it if I could received the parcel fast. Otherwise TFS is equally good too.

Doll Lash Make Up - Beauty Tools Review: Make Up Watsons

Review: Doll Lash Eyelash Curler

At last I ditched my ELF eyelash curler! I was about to buy Shu Uemura or MAC eyelash curler as those two have the best review. But I managed to find a far better affordable brand for Asian eyes.

Doll Lash is another brand under Empro from Korea. Their eyelash curler is retailing at RM19.80 and I got it at RM17.80 after 10% discount at Watsons a few weeks ago. I have read reviews that their eyelash curler shape is made to suit Asian eyes. At that point of time I have high hope on this curler and I wasn’t disappointed.

Here’s a short review 🙂

Simple and sweet packaging. I always love pink.

Back of the packaging.

Up-close at the description behind the packaging.

The curler out from the box. Looks like it’s standing “kangkang” right? *lol*. This is a powerful curler. Don’t let the look deceive you.

When I say the curler is powerful, I really do mean it. I never had to not curl hard. This curler is so powerful that you only need a gentle press. Just a gentle one. Here is the picture to prove it.

My naked eyes with uncurl lashes.

Here is my lashes after just one gentle curl!

And here is my lashes after applying just a coat of Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Neo.

My Personal Review:-
Price is much more affordable compared with Shu Uemura. I think due to the design of the curler, you need not to press all the way. Just a gentle press will do the magic. If you press too hard, there’ll be a funny square curl. I see no breakage of eyelash from using this curler. Too bad there’s no extra refill included. Repurchase of this curler will be needed after some time.
