Review: Eliminate Eye Puffiness with Clarins Defining Eye Lift

As much as I’m hooked with Clarins Eye Contour Balm, I don’t mind adding another eye care to my skin care routine and that is Clarins Defining Eye Lift 15ml which I gotten it for “free” from November 2011 haul of Total Beauty Lift set. Clarins Defining Eye Lift is retailing for RM152 and what it does is totally different from Eye Contour Balm which soften fine lines around the eyes. What this do is to reduce / eliminate puffiness which resulted a brighter, opened eyes.

At only 15ml, the pump bottle is slim and tall but yet still look small. I’ve always like pump dispenser as I can get a better control of the amount I need. The semi-transparent frosty cap snap on firmly onto the gold trim.

The content dispense out as a yellowish runny gel which is non-sticky and quickly absorbed into the skin as soon as I press it on. I usually apply this just before Eye Contour Balm.

Here comes the Before and After picture. Although the lighting is slightly different (can’t be avoided since I couldn’t look at the LCD screen before pressing the button), there is no denial that my puffiness is better after application.

Yes it does. Best if paired with Eye Contour Balm to battle fine lines!

1) Reduce and eliminates eye puffiness.
2) Easily absorbed in.
3) Non-sticky and with a faint flower scent.
4) Pump bottle for easy control of amount to be dispense out.
5) Although only at 15ml, one bottle last for months on day and night usage.
6) Comparing with other eye care on the market, this is affordable and not pricey at all!

Probably in the future as I wanted to try other eye care from Clarins too.

Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored review. I bought the product on my own.

  • My beauty therapist always remind me the importance of eye cream. I am using the Estee Lauder eye cream miniature from GWP. Seems to work for me and the puffiness around my eyes are reduced.

Same for you too! I think the lines are softened and less puffy. Good stuff 🙂

  • I used to try here & there before finding the right one. Clarins works for mostly everyone due to it’s natural ingredients.

  • Hi Fiona, can you add some Clarins eye care review for dark circles. Would like to try their eye care for dark circles, but yesterday the SA say their counter is out of eye care samples. 🙁

    • Hi Eliz, on hand I only bought DEF and Eye Contour Balm. Both is not for dark circles though. The reason why I didn’t buy and review and dark circle eye care is because I don’t have dark circle *touch wood*.
