I’m not a fan of Clinelle. There. I said it. The product just don’t work for my skin. I think it’s quite mild for my not-so-good-skin. Recently I received quite a few Clinelle product from Wonderbox. Since most of it are expiring soon, I took out SnoWhite Mask to use. I’m a huge fan of rinse-off mask. It’s convenient for me as I could put on such mask and sit down to blog while sheet mask just don’t sit properly on my face when I’m looking down at my laptop.
Clinelle SnoWhite Mask is a rinse-off mask that whiten and brighten dull and lack of luster skin and it’s also hydrating unlike other whitening mask that are drier. This is a type of mask that are suitable for all skin type and condition. Clinelle also claimed that this mask contain the 6-No.
- No artificial coloring
- No artificial fragrance
- No comedogenic ingredient
- No lanolin
- No mineral oil
- No SD-alcohol
This mask is said to help prevent clogged pores, blackheads and breakout. Something that I’m delighted to hear. I’ve been using this mask on and off for a month now. So far I had no breakout from using this mask. I have clogged pores and blackhead problem so I’m quite sure this on and off mask usage doesn’t add more to it. However I don’t see how this help in preventing all the above.
But, I like this mask very much. Every time after I use it I can see an immediate brightening effect. It’s kind of watery and slightly clear. Normally I’d squeeze a generous amount onto my fingers and start spreading which often not enough and I needed to keep on pilling more. It’s not helping when the mask is this watery.
Unlike other whitening mask in the market, SnoWhite Mask doesn’t makes the skin dry and tight. In fact I find that the mask is quite hydrating. After I rinse off the mask my face is soft to touch and supple beside the immediate brightening glow. I like that it doesn’t sting my face. Although the instruction said to leave the mask for 5 – 10 minutes, I left it on much more longer.
This got to be the only Clinelle that I absolutely love. If you are on the lookout for a budget and good brightening mask, this might be what you are looking for. If you just want a hydrating mask…hey, this works just fine too.

I know. If it doesn’t suits you it may suits other. Everyone will know how their skin reacts to certain skin care. Yours is stubborn type certain skin care will not suit you.

My sister and I had been starting at the picture. There is indeed brightening effect. The price is not that cheap right but cheaper than those counter brand of course. Maybe I can buy when there is promotion hehehehe
Yes there is. Normally it’s much more brighter. That day I was walking around, sweating cleaning my room after I rinse off. So I guess the effect went off a bit by the time I take picture.
this mask is good for someone who has last minute dinner or function because it has immediate brightening effect after using it.
May i know you use this mask for how many times per week?
Exactly! Sometimes if I feel that my skin is dull I’d put on this mask for 10 minutes 🙂

Have read a few reviews on this mask but I haven’t got the chance to give it a shot at it yet. To me Clinelle is a brand that has quality ingredients that speak volumes!

Yes it’s so convenient. If I’m not writing for that night, I’d put on sheet mask and lie down on the couch. It’s a bliss to be able to do so.
Hmmm nope. I don’t use too much to see that my scars lighten. Maybe other whitening mask would do better.

I know right. For the first time I’m quite pleased with Clinelle lol. So far I don’t have any whitening mask anymore so yes I’d repurchase this soon. Mine is finishing in another 2 use.

Feel kinda shocked and sad at the same time when i read that you’r not a fan of Clinelle *gaps* haha. For me, Clinelle works the best for my skin ( prone to oily type ) , magic! haha, i used the toner before, i don’t know how does it works but my pores were not that visible anymore after using the toner. Unfortunately i stopped using it after finishing it cause that time i bought the travel kit set ( cleanser + toner + moisturizer ) and kinda pricey for student like me , even just a small set already cost a bomb for me , sad fact. I’m just using normal skin cleanser available at watsons, gardian, the cheap ones =(
Haha Kay Kay :P. That’s because Clinelle doesn’t work for my skin as much as on other skin. What might work for me might not work for you and vice versa.
Awww although Clinelle are pretty affordable for working peep but normal cleanser from Watsons and Guardian are not bad either. I’ve been using those for many years when I was at your age 😀

Hi Kay, I assume that you are in your teens. Clinelle seems to work well for young skin. You can try other alternatives if you are tight on budget. Certain brands/products work very well on young skin. You are not at the age where you have to spend a bomb to slow down the aging process. Basic skincare would be good enough for you.
I’ve already try those brands that are commonly found in Watsons since secondary, but none works well on me, except for Clinelle =( and i don’t know why,i kept having breakouts now and then especially after staying up late for assignments. maybe my skin is “expensive’ lol. 19 now turning 20 this year =)
Don’t worry about breakout. Your skin is still young! We’re still having breakout at this age lol!

Thanks for the great review as there are pictures in it and I can actually tell the difference from the before and after picture (with slight squinting, haha). But hey, you can’t expect miracles in a day, right? 🙂 However, I hope the Clinelle Eye Bright cream will work miracles for my eyes. I have no idea why I have such dark circles with fine lines under my eyes. It’s kind of embarrassing. 🙁

Glad the before and after picture helps! Haha yes can’t expect miracle in a day but it do give instant brightening effect. For a drugstore brand I’m quite impressed.
I think you look into computer and read too much :). Also maybe you study a lot till late night thus the dark circle too. But there’s a lot more reasons on why. You should look at mine a few months back. It’s horrifying.

By implementing proper eye care in your daily routine. Although I’ve heard some will just do with cool cucumber or teabags. I haven’t tried those. Or maybe try eye patch or mask too. Pores are one tricky thing too. I’m born with super large pores since teenage time. There’s no way to reduce the size permanently. Now I just focus on minimizing the appearance.

yeap fiona, because i find it very convenient to apply a rinse-off mask when i have my shower. because right after i have done with my shower evything, ngam ngam it is the time to wash the mask off LOL

i have been used this product because of my acne but my acne is still there.
Hi Sharina, this is NOT a product to get rid of acne. This is a brightening mask, which does not have anything to do with acne. Why did you think this brightening mask can get rid of acne by the way?
