Lifestyle Sunday: Adidas Malaysia Launched the New Ultra BOOST for Fall/ Winter 2015 Collection

The highlight of my week was to attend the launch of Adidas New Ultra BOOST for Fall/ Winter 2015 Collection. It was more exciting than going to a beauty product launch. No, I’ve not forgotten my “beauty blogging” route, just in case you are wondering 😀 . As you know from my Instagram, I started running two months ago and has been progressing quite well according to my triathlete / marathoner friends. I thought so too until I started to suffer from shin splints injury. This type of injury usually happen to beginner runner as they all did one mistake – too much, too soon. There are many factor contributing to shin splints injury and I was told that one of it is the running shoe. So for me, getting to know, see and feel the new Adidas Ultra BOOST running shoe came at the right time.

I do not know anything about the previous version of Ultra BOOST in the Spring/Summer 2015 (S/S 2015) collection, but I was told it was darn good. The new F/W 2015 Ultra BOOST running shoe used the same revolution, with added new and improvised design from the result of many years of research based on the ARAMIS 3D shape and surface measurement to serve as a fully adaptive running experience in any environment.

The breakdown of Fall / Winter 2015 Ultra BOOST running shoe

Ultra BOOST Fall / Winter 2015 running shoe collection comes in three colours – Frozen Yellow & Flash Red for the women and Core Black for the men. However do not get too blinded with the colour selection as you can definitely choose any colour you want according to your feet size 🙂 . Adidas not just put into consideration of diverse requirements for functions, adaptability and feet comfort but also designing a pair of running shoes that is able to appeal to both men and women.

My personal favourite is none other than Flash Red. Core Black looked stylish too and suitable for casual day-to-day wear as well. I did not know that choosing a suitable pair of running shoe takes so much effort. I struggled with this stage when I wanted to get into running. In fact the shoe was the reason for my delay in running. A pair of running shoes should essentially deliver comfort, flexibility and a significant BOOST to propel you forward. Adidas’s BOOST technology is so important as it pushes performance and extra ENERGY to not only gain ground, but adapt to various activities ranging from normal intensity workouts to aggressive movements. All I know is, Ultra BOOST is an all-round shoe that is made for the comfort of running, training and workout.

One of the many concern of runners are airiness of the shoe. Ultra BOOST uses fabric that sustain airiness during long distance running or extended hours of working out. The materials are expendable materials that can accommodate different feet structures on various terrains and any orientating movements. The ‘styrofoam’ looking outsole is designed to lift tension off the feet, especially the heels. It kinda feels like bouncing, as if you are about to take off flying. That is why my friend recommended me to change to Ultra BOOST shoe for my running instead since I am getting all sorts of leg injuries from daily running lol.

    • I thought I can’t run too. Turns out this fatty can run LOL. I started running to maintain the health after my GM Diet. Working out well so far although I kept getting weird pain and stress on my legs. But that doesn’t stop me from running.
Oh yeah. Runwithme was there at the launch I think 🙂
