Sulwhasoo as everyone know is a well-known Korean skincare brand. Now the brand takes K-Beauty up a notch with the launch of its K-Beauty Makeup Collection. Korean beauty trend has always been adopting that dewy glow and natural radiance from within. The same concept are instilled in its makeup collection for a no makeup makeup look. However Korean version of no makeup makeup look is different from the US. Sulwhasoo are gravitating more to natural dewy flawless skin with a tinge of radiant colour.

I am not going to tease you further but instead I am going to show you the MOST exciting item from the collection that makes all of us goes ooohhh and ahhhhsss.

Radiance Blusher (RM210, available in 2 colours)

What caught everyone’s attention at the media preview was none other than the multi-coloured Radiance Blusher. It is so pretty that I can’t take it. Trust me when I say you will have a hard time choosing just one shade that you like because both shades are absolutely gorgeous. I am not into peachy coral shade and yet I find No. 2 Coral Harmony is so pretty!

There are three shades all together in a pan. A medium shade which acts as the main blusher to give radiance, a darker bits  on the center to control the shade intensity, and lastly a light pink shade at the corner for highlighting. You can use all three shades together with a swirl of a brush or use separately. For example by using the link pink as highlighter.

Radiance Blusher uses a powder called Bloominous Pearl Powder which works by reflecting a tint of red and light to the skin. And of course, with the price you pay you do get a cute fluffy brush made from half goat hair and half synthetic fiber.

Perfecting Cushion (RM200, available in 6 shades) & Perfecting Cushion Brightening (RM210, available in 7 shades)

Perfecting Cushion was launched quite some time ago and now it comes with additional shades, making it a total of six shades catering to different skin tone. Just like other cushion foundation, this one comes with SPF as well but in a high SPF50 PA+++ and with multiple skincare benefits. The highest I’ve seen? I would not know as I do not use cushion BB or foundation 😛 . It’s skincare benefit includes Apricot Kernel Oil complex and JAUM Balancing Complex to prevent collagen breakdown, improves skin elasticity, provides long lasting hydration, glow, and radiance.

Perfecting Cushion Brightening on another hand is a medium coverage cushion foundation that gives a brightening effect with White Magnolia Extract and Mother of Pearl complex. It intelligently absorb unnecessary sebum from the skin with Oil Capture System infused in the product. This is the reason why the product is able to stay on the skin without the sticky feel. I will have to try this to find out myself. Intriguing! Available in seven shades in total; that includes three new shades.

Perfecting Cushion (RM200, available in two shades) and Perfecting Cushion Brightening Limited Edition (RM210, available in two shades)

I know most of us like it when our favourite product came out with a Limited Edition collector’s item packaging. If you are a collector of Sulwhasoo Perfect Cushion and Perfect Cushion Brightening, you will be delighted to know that both cushion came out with limited edition packaging from a collaboration with contemporary ‘Minhwa’ artist, Donah Lee. The motives interpret the Korean tradion ‘Hwajeopdo’, a traditional butterflies and flowers painting decorative art for the royalty. It carries a wishes of happiness and wellbeing of their families.

Makeup Balancer SPF25/PA++

An all new product from Sulwhasoo is this Makeup Balancer. A 3rd generation makeup base that balances the power of skin, balances skin’s moisture and balances uneven skin tone, prepping the skin for the next makeup step. Makeup Balancer comes in two colours – No. 1 Light Pink, which is suitable for all skin tone that has pomegranate extracts to create a pink radiance to the skin, and No. 2 Light Purple that has peony extracts to correct dull and yellowish skin tone.

Essential Concealer Stick

Another new product from Sulwhasoo for its K-Beauty Makeup Collection is the Essential Concealer Stick. It has camellia oil to provide deep hydration to the under eyes especially and apricot kernel oil that works to firm and smooth the skin. The concealer is also suitable to cover blemishes and uneven skin tones. Comes in two shades – #1 Medium Pink for the under eyes dark circles, and #2 Medium Beige for any redness on the cheeks or reddening blemishes.

Essential Lip Serum Stick (available in 5 colours)

The last item from the collection is the moisture-boosting Essential Lip Serum Stick. It seems that tinted lip balm are in trend and Sulwhasoo too jumped into the bandwagon with this rich texture tinted lip balm. It is infused with Camellia oil and safflower complex to moisturize the lips and plump up the lips by formining a double layer of moisture. Apricot Kernel Oil and Elastic Complex fills the surface of the lips making them looking more plump. The shine and natural color comes from red apricot extract.
