Quick Update – All Time Favorite Ginvera Real Spa Shower Scrub

This is one item which I highly recommend to friends and even strangers. It’s the Ginvera Real Spa Shower Scrub.

It was a few years ago when I went to a beauty expo and I was randomly chatting with other exhibitors. One of the exhibitor (girl) told me she suffered bad acne from face to her back. She said she bought this shower scrub to use and her back acne is gone! I do have back acne when I’m feeling “heaty” from the inside or when I don’t get enough sleep. After hearing her testimonial I went to buy the Green Tea version. I wasn’t disappointed. It really cleared body acne. I’ve been using that for near to a year before I decided to try Lavender version. The effect is the same. Just different scent :). That was many years ago. As I’m typing this out I have 4 back-ups at home. Mainly Lavender. Whenever there’s sales I’d stock up. Last year this shower scrub is retailing for a hefty RM17.90 then recently the price went down to RM13.80. Well mostly Watsons lol. Do take note they comes in refill pack too.

Another tips for you – the content is not consistent. I always choose the most content from the bottle. Just look at the Lavender on the picture above.

Ginvera Watsons

Ginvera Green Tea & Lavendar SPA Shower Scrub

If you read my earlier post here, you’d most probably knew that I love this shower scrub. I never stop buying this and last week I saw Watsons is having member price promo for this and I decided to buy another 2. I usually buy Green Tea but this time I wanted to try Lavendar. Both is retailing RM13.80 for non-member and RM12.80 for member at Watsons.

Ginvera Green Tea SPA Shower Scrub

I remembered I used to love Ginvera Green Tea Spa Shower Scrub a few years back but I don’t know why I didn’t re-buy the product. Until I was working at Ginvera, it was at the time I was talking to a customer at the MATRADE Exhibition Fair last Nov or Dec 2008. Her face was full with acne and according to her…her body too. I didn’t saw anything since she was all covered up in a blazer. She says that it was because of using the green tea shower scrub, her body acne healed. Wow. I never knew or heard that before. I was tremendously happy to hear that cause ever since I have Hyperthyroidism, my system decided to expel all the over-excess toxic out through my upper shoulder. Seeing my own body change makes me realise how “toxic” I was. The second reason why I was so happy is that I knew I was able to get this shower scrub at a staff purchase price! But that time it was another 1 month to go before our once every 2 months staff purchase and another month to wait for the collection of products. 3 weeks before CNY, I heard from warehouse that they will only pack all staff purchase products after CNY. And I can’t wait any longer so I decided to buy from outside at retail price. Price wise is not a problem. The problem is I was searching for the “old” packaging. I was emotionally in-touch with it lol. But I can’t seems to find any until we found it at Bintang Supermarket at Sg Chua. It was at a best price somemore =). 1 week later I resigned from Ginvera and I put up a special request at warehouse to collect my products earlier than their schedule. So now I have my own Ginvera Green Tea REAL Spa Shower Scrub stocks!

I bought 2 refill pack and 2 retail pack. I’m using 1 retail pack currently that was bought earlier and that makes the total of 5 packs!

Asience Canmake Garnier Ginvera Majolica Majorca Sasa Watsons

Drugstore & Sasa Mini Haul

*** Pls ignore the terrible image which is taken from my BB as my digicam is spoilt 🙁

Anyway, went on some drugstore & Sasa shopping spree yesterday with mummy.

First stop is Watson’s. Been searching for some lipgloss and I find that Majorlica Majorca’s Honey Pump Gloss Neo is the perfect lil size for me. The tube is not too big and not too small. Perfect size for people who’s “hangat-hangat tahi ayam” like me lol.

Got this in PK247. Although it look darn pinkish but I love how it came out nude on the lips.
Name: Majorlica Majorca Honey Pump Gloss Neo (PK247)
Price: RM17.91 after discount
My thought: ABSOLUTELY loving this! Its not sticky at all and stays on for hours. I love how it turns to nude pink when applied although it looks very pink from the outside. It looks like it contains some shimmer but not noticable after applied. Weird. Will definately bought another colour. Maybe the beige neutral colour?

Asience came out with a new type of hair product range which is for normal to oily scalp, hair that is prone to tagling and lacks volume. So I decided to try it.
Name: Asience Nature Smooth Shampoo
Price: RM14.90

My thought: Not so keen with the scent. I still prefer the scent from Deep Nourishing line.

Was looking for some cheap & good facial cleanser and this was on a promo; buy 2nd item for 50% discount. How can I resist this. It’s darn cheap. Mum agrees too.
Name: Garnier Aqua Defence Moisturizing Cleansing Foam
Price: RM10.90 for 1st tube, RM5.45 for 2nd tube

My thought: Its good in removing dirt and oil from my face. Smells like Bath & Body Works in Cucumber Melon. Cheap, affordable & good!

My usual shower scrub was on promo too!

Name: Ginvera SPA Massaging Shower Scrub (Green Tea)
Price: RM10.43
My thought: Good for back acne. Won’t write much on this as I reviewed this before at my previous blog. Will post it out here soon.
After all of that, we went to next door which Sasa is. Been wanting to get Canmake eyeshadow badly as theirs is the most shimmering of all I ever seen hehe. As soon as we got in, one of the sales girl was quarrelling with the store supervisor. It was bad & humiliating till the sales girl who was serving me feels bad and ashame. Mum obviously was in shock of all that lol. Me on the other hand pretending nothing happen and continue to choose the eyeshadow. I was previously in retail operation so all this isn’t a big deal for me. But I still think that no matter what, they are not suppose to quarrel in front of customers.

Anyway, was thinking to get blue shadows. Then changed my mind to earthy neutral colour. Then decided to get this with a light pinkish peach instead. I’m so indecisive.
Name: Canmake Eye Nuance (#22)
Price: RM31.35 after 15% discount from RM36.90
My thought: Looks very shimmery and gorgeous. Kinda disappointed as it turns to very light nude colour if applied with eyeshadow brush :(. I re-dab the light pink using my finger and looks at least a bit of pink. Well, at least it doesn’t give me puffy eyes. The dark colour is very pigmented but not shimmery. Hmmm weird. I actually was thinking to sell this off & get another colour! *lol*
