Last Sunday I attended Paul & Joe Malaysia Autumn 2011 Collection “Manhattan” Tea Party held at Isetan Lot 10. I was lucky to found out about it earlier and make my reservation on the spot and I was in the 30th RSVP list.
I reached around 1.35pm and no one greeted me when I reached their counter. I saw one girl on the phone, one or two arranging the refreshment, a guy looking at me only and the makeup artist is also just looking at me. I felt a bit disappointed with this as they greeted everyone but not me. I don’t think so I look or dress badly that day but somehow I was under estimated. Oh well.
Finally I approached the SA, Masta to register and snap this picture of their display which was facing me directly at where I stand. Model of the day is already standing by for the makeup demo.

I also spotted the Exclusive Manhattan It Girl Make Up Set display. This set which is worth RM518 will be available for purchase at a special price of RM280, only for attendees of the tea party (if I’m not mistaken).

The attendees are slowly arriving at the counter.
And it’s getting crowded in no time. By the time I realise it I saw the model and makeup artist; Bong has already taken their place indicating that the demo is going to start anytime soon.
Below is some pictures which I snap while makeup artist; Bong demonstrate while explaining about the products that he will be using. I didn’t snap the whole process step by step as I was blocked a lil and I was standing quite a distance ya. So please bear with me on some blurness of the picture.
After the demo ended, I went to the front and ask for permission from other bloggers to let me snap the final photo of the model.
I wanted to snap the picture of the collection from the side table but I was blocked again so I gave up. Don’t worry. Here’s the official pictures.

And this is the door gift worth RM70 for all 30 RSVP fans. We are required to fill in a simple form which is pretty reasonable for me but again I encounter another unpleasant treatment. I was standing in front of the lady who was giving out the form and she gave the forms to everyone that stopped in front of her or passing by but she just couldn’t see me which I was standing right in front of her. YES I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH IT. It happened twice!

I was surprised that the eye color I’ve got is manufactured in Sep 2008.
Lastly this is what I hauled. I was hoping to get a set a few day before but was not in the mood after going through an unpleasant treatment at the beginning. You see. . I’m in the service line (sales) so first impression means a lot to me. I’d get turn off immediately if the person under estimated me i.e. looking at me as if I couldn’t afford? Oh well. As I was about to make my move, a nice chatty lady approached me and I asked a bit about the collection and I decided to get a set. Lucky you!!
