Most people when they see Yadah they would mistaken Yadah for younger age. But did you know that’s not true? I’m guilty too cause I’m one of the most people. I knew about Yadah since last year when they were launched in Malaysia. I sucks at cute packaging. It’s like a magnet pulling you over but because I had mistaken the brand for younger generation and that it’s not suitable for my skin, I stay away from the brand.
Last week I had the opportunity to get to know more about Yadah. You bet I jumped right in. Together with SaSa, Yadah gave us an exclusive preview of their 2 new range; Anti-Trouble Series and Lip Series that consist of lip balm – Lip Tint Balm and lip gloss – Lovely Lip Gloss.
The preview is held at SaSa Bangsar Shopping Centre outlet. When I reached the outlet main entrance I was greeted with these cute and striking standees. Make me feel like I’m 10 years younger 🙂
Yadah is a range of botanical skincare products from Korea especially for teens and young adults formulated with natural plant extracts like essential oils, floral water, barks and traditional herbs etc. that works in perfect harmony with the skin. The gentle yet effective formulas are 100% free from artificial colouring, preservatives, mineral oil, and sulphate and do not contain animal extracts of any kind. Yadah skincare are mostly suitable for young skin as this particular age range have more tender skin that is more vulnerable to harsh chemicals.
When Yadah first stepped into Malaysia market they are mainly skincare, body care and a small selection of makeup and hair care. It’s not a huge collection and not confusing but a complete one which is good.
Did you know that the unique key ingredient found in all Yadah products is the native Opuntia Ficus extract. Opuntia Ficus a unique cactus species organically grown and cultivated in Korea and is known for its strong anti-inflammatory and high potent antioxidant properties which help neutralise free radicals harmful to the skin. As we already know, Cactus is one of the few rare plants that can survive extreme weather conditions from the scorching hot barren sands at the desert to the freezing harsh winters. It has a unique ability to reduce water loss and is able to prevent water evaporation from the epidermis and acts as a natural moisturiser to keep skin soft and hydrated both indoors and outdoors.
All Yadah products are certified by the Korean FDA and are formulated to be hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic with a mixture of botanical ingredients that are natural, organic and some with *Ecocert authentication. They are suitable for all skin types, even sensitive and troubled ones especially for teenagers and young adults.
Elaine from Yadah Malaysia walked us through the brand story including the cute red hair girl mascot – Yadah, her alien pet Yom Yom and even take time to introduce us the existing product range. It’s good because most of us are not present at last year product launch. Elaine later on introduce the new range targeted to blemish prone skin – Anti-Trouble Series and lip makeup series – Lip Tint Balm and Lovely Lip Gloss.
Yadah’s beauty expert is also there helping with the introduction and also letting us hands on all the products one by one as the introduction brief is going on and of course answering all
our my countless questions on the products. Hey not purposely so but I am seriously intrigued by the brand 🙂
NEW! Yadah Anti-Trouble Series
Yadah Anti-Trouble Series is specifically developed for oily, blemish-prone skin to unclog pores, eliminate excess sebum and bring down the chances of breakouts or even blackheads without the drying and irritating the skin. This all can happen due to it’s natural active ingredients which was formulated without artificial colourings, preservatives, Parabens, animal ingredients and harsh chemicals.
Yadah Anti-Trouble Bubble Cleanser – RM59 / 150ml
Foam up with this bubble cleanser that is pH-balanced to maintain the natural acidity and moisture level of the skin while fighting acne break-outs by cleaning deep into the pores. The formula is jointly developed and tested in collaboration with the Seoul National University and Yongsei University Hospital to reduce acne causing bacteria in the skin. Contains natural salicylic acid from wintergreen leaves to regulate sebum/oil levels and to draw out impurities from pores. Skin feels soft, smooth, refreshed and comfortable. Other natural ingredients include green tea, rosemary, sage, aloe vera and amino-acid.
This is a dupe but targeted version of Yadah’s highly raved best-seller; Bubble Deep Cleanser. I’ve tried it and it’s more creamier and moisturizing compare with other bubble cleanser available in the market. The foam is very dense that doesn’t disappear and dissolve that quickly. We were told that one bottle could last up to 3 months with day and night use as you only need half a pump to a full pump for the whole face.
Yadah Anti-Trouble Toner – RM59 / 100ml
Sweeps away dead surface skin cells that can lead to break-outs. Tightens pores while balancing the skin’s pH and calms down blemish-prone skin. Organic opuntia ficus helps retain natural skin moisture with anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. Native Korean blackberry root extracts help reduce inflammation, control sebum with antibiosis benefits.
Unlike the current toner which is in gel form, this toner is just like normal toner which is the one you need to use with cotton pad. I know some people would prefer not to use cotton pad and just pat on the face. I’ve checked with Yadah beauty expert and he said it’s better to use cotton pad for this since cotton pad can remove makeup residue and other impurities like dead skin cell. If you have blemish prone skin you might want to avoid touching your face with your fingers.
Yadah Anti-Trouble Emulsion – RM59 / 100ml
Formulated with organic opuntia-ficus and native Korean blackberry root extracts with similar benefits as the Anti-T Toner. Provides a light matte moisture to minimise dryness and peeling to keep skin shine-free all day long.
Now, I get excited hearing the word “matte”. I have combination to oily skin so finding out this emulsion will give you a matte but doesn’t dry the skin…I’m all in! With that huge bottle and that affordable price it’s worth to try. This will be in my wish list 🙂
Yadah Anti-Trouble Spot – RM35 / 15g
Formula is jointly developed and tested in collaboration with the Seoul National University and Yongsei University Hospital to reduce acne causing bacteria in the skin. High potent concentrated formula helps reduce spots, blemishes and blackheads gently yet effectively without drying the skin surface. Combats inflammation, improves skin immunity without irritation and promotes healing.
One of the blogger present told me that her friend swear by this. So when she saw this she was all hyped up! If you always have break out (like me *ehem*) then you can check this out. It doesn’t sting or burn your skin upon application. My jaw dropped when I heard the price of this tube. Besides reducing pimple it works on blackheads too. You know how I am battling with blackhead and small bumps now right? I am so getting this. If I do you’ll definitely get a review from me.
Special Care Line – Yadah Ampoules
Yadah also releases two ampoule range together with Anti-Trouble series. I’ve never seen such a huge ampoule bottle! Ampoule to me is mostly in glass vials which you need to broke it open to use. This one from Yadah is in a dropper bottle.
These two high potency ampoules developed are with nano-liposome system and advanced stem cell technology to allow penetration deep into the dermis for better product efficacy to target and correct specific skin problems for Asians. Ampoule is one of the most coveted skincare products simply because they are formulated to work deep into the skin layer due to its much smaller molecules.
Yadah Collagen Ampoule – RM65 / 30ml
Highly concentrated vitamin serum formulated with deep sea Marine Collagen and plant stem cells derived from Ginseng, Carrots and Green Tea helps restore skin firmness and elasticity by boosting collagen production and dramatically reducing the appearance of fine lines.
Sodium Hyaluronate, a much smaller molecule than Hyaluronic Acid greatly improves the skin’s ability to absorb and retain moisture for a more supple, plumped-up, radiant-looking firmed skin.
It’s non-greasy texture and natural formula means it can be used all over the face including the fragile eye areas for visible results.
As you know I’m currently consuming 2 different collagen drinks. I’ve never thought someone would be coming out with a collagen ampoule. It’s genius! The texture is similar as Eve Lom Intensive Hydration Serum. It’s not gel and it’s not runny like serum. It’s more gluey and thicker. The texture is richer so just a few drops will do, absorbed in fast and it’s not sticky too.
Yadah Brightening Ampoule – RM65 / 30ml
The amazing plant extracts filled formula with potent antioxidants and vitamins help reduce dark spots and pigmentation while preventing them from reappearing. Skin stays naturally clear, bright and luminous.
Enriched with Niacinamide, a water soluble Vitamin B3, scientifically proven to naturally suppress the production of melanin while Glycosaminoglycans, a complex protein has the ability to retain and bind water molecule up to 1,000 times its molecular weight in the skin for extra hydration lacking in most whitening products.
In combination with other botanical ingredients like Carrots, Green Tea, Ginseng, Bamboo, Mung Beans, Safflowers, Morus Bark and Oriental Arbor Vitae for optimum results.
Actually I’ve already planned to get a bottle as my Clarins whitening serum trial tube is finishing soon. I finished the full size bottle 1 month ago and is on the lookout for another whitening product for my acne marks. I like this one from Yadah as it’s more kinder to my wallet. Another product going to the wish list 🙂

I must admit everything from Yadah smells good including this mask sheet. Seriously I would buy the mask due to the cute print on the packaging lol.
Yadah Cleansing Nose Pack – RM19 / Pack of 10 pcs
A pack of peel-off strips that absorb dirt and oil to reduce the appearance of pores and blackheads.
Each adhesive strip attracts pore-clogging dirt and oil. Specially formulated to draw out impurities and blackheads to unclog pores and detoxify the skin in just one pull. Contains Witch Hazel extract, a natural astringent, helps tightens pores, control excess oil and reduces inflammation on the skin.
Effective yet gentle, additional botanical ingredients provide a soothing and calming feel upon adhesion. Skin is left exceptionally clarified and cleaned.
I heard that this nose pack is as effective as Skin Food Egg White Pack which I’m currently using and had gone through packs and packs of it. However Skin Food one gave me itchy nose after using. I was told Yadah’s Cleansing Nose Pack doesn’t thanks to Witch Hazel extract. This is something that I should be on the look out soon. And it’s cheaper with more strips too.
Now that I’ve introduced you the new range from Yadah including the Special Care Line, let’s move on to lip range which was showcased to us on the same day. Yadah released 2 new lip range namely Lip Tint Balm and Lovely Lip Gloss.
Yadah Lip Tint Balm – RM25 / 4.5g
Basically this is tinted lip balm. Tinted lip balm means it comes with a hint of color. Many of us think of lip balm as clear and colorless. Fret not. Yadah has colorless one too. Just look out for the green cap jar – Bling Bling Yellow. The lip balm is yellow in color because that’s the original color of shea butter. It goes on the lip colorless but I do notice some shimmers in it. Very very fine shimmer but absolutely gorgeous. On the lips it’s very moisturizing and natural.
Here’s the color chart for Lip Tint Balm.
Yadah Lovely Lip Gloss – RM19 / 9.8g
All you need to top up to Lip Tint Balm is lip gloss. Lovely Lip Gloss comes in 5 shades; 4 strikingly beautiful color while 1 is clear gloss. So far the best seller is the orange gloss; 02 Tropical Orange. I’m not a lip gloss fan but my personal favorite is Strawberry Milk and Peach Smoothie. Yeap. I’m still a pink shade girl :). The color may freak you out from the tube but once it goes on the lips it sheer out and does look more natural even for the darker color in the collection.
Here is the color reference for Lovely Lip Gloss.
You have no idea how glad I am to be a part of the group to get the exclusive preview on Yadah’s latest range since I’m combating with acne prone skin lately. You bet I have my eyes on a few items from Anti-Trouble Series. I’m currently on the mission to explore more brands and more new products especially those that are friendly to the wallet as I think that’s where the biggest market is at now. Besides that I’m happy to know that Yadah is not only for the younger age group but also suitable for young adults.
Yadah’s impression on me now? Cute, attractive packaging, really affordable, simple and suitable for younger adults too.
