Canmake Make Up - Eyes Review: Make Up

Review: CANMAKE Eyeshadow Base; The Good, The Bad but Not Quite There Yet

Of all products that I received recently from CANMAKE event I am particularly interested with the Eyeshadow Base. I had my mind set to do a review and so here it is 🙂

The on-the-spot demonstration blows my mind. I was shown how intensive eyeshadow color is with the use of this base. So I guess it is up to me to test the base for longevity eh?

CANMAKE claims:
● This creamy base will provide just the right amount of coverage in a color that will blend in well with your skin, enhancing the color and translucence of your eyeshadow.

Improves the adhesion of your powder eyeshadow to your skin, making it last longer.

Make Up - Eyes Review: Make Up RMK

Review: RMK Deep Iridescent Eyes #04 Iridescent Deep Purple, Liking The Color On The Palette But Not On My Eyelid

I am not someone that will chase for the latest launch but I am more of a someone that will let the hype subside first, wait for a few reviews to pop up in Google and then only I will get my hands on the product that I had my eyes on. So yeap. You will not see me running like a mad woman to the counter when new collection is launched.

Surprisingly there wasn’t a lot of review or coverage on RMK Deep Iridescent Eyes despite being launched back in September 2012 for Autumn/Winter collection. I saw this popped out at a forum for a steal price so I grabbed 04 Iridescent Deep Purple.

RMK112
RMK Deep Iridescent Eyes #04 Iridescent Deep Purple is a dual shaded eyeshadow palette that comes in a shiny silver casing that of course attract finger prints and dirt. The design is kept minimal with only the brand name printed in the middle on the front of the palette.

Kanebo Lunasol Make Up - Eyes Review: Make Up

Review: Kanebo Lunasol Lighting Eyes #01 Shiny White; Good as Eyeshadow as well as Highlighter

Will you agree with me if I said most of us skip highlighting our brow bone and inner corner tear duct area? I think most of us are not sure what to do with the “white” on an eyeshadow palette and some are afraid of putting white on the eyes.

On the other hand I’d be very happy if I find a white on a brand new eyeshadow palette. I couldn’t live without highlighting my brow bone. But I skip highlighting the inner corner tear duct area once in a while because I like to clean my eyes a few times a day. It’s not convenient for me when I do highlight the tear duct area although I can reapply after that.

Lately I notice that some palette came without a highlighter. I recall that I had this Kanebo Lunasol Lighting Eyes #01 Shiny White in my makeup stash and it has been there since June last year. Time to take it out and put it to good use!

CLIO Make Up - Eyes Review: Make Up

Review: CLIO Gelpresso Pencil Gel Liner is a Gel Liner in a Stick

To be frank I’m not good with eyeliner. I started to really draw my eyeliner somewhere last year. To see my friends with perfect eyeliner on (but without any makeup on mind you) makes me jealous. But it is true when people said “practice makes perfect”. I was determined to draw everyday. Day by day the time taken is shorten and appears more natural. Gel eyeliner is tricky to me at first but then I find that it’s also the easiest to use.

Recently a friend of mine told me about this eyeliner brand CLIO. I remember this eyeliner because I spent RM20 at Watsons and I was asked if I would want to purchase a mini set. I never heard of CLIO before and I’m not that good with eyeliner so I didn’t buy it. After finding out that CLIO Gelpresso Pencil Gel Liner is better than Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, I find myself searching for this mini set.

The mini set that I bought comes with 5 different shade of pencil gel liner.

I like the metal case that hold all 5 mini pencil. If I need to bring the pencil out I would just throw the whole case in my bag. This product is made in Korea thus the Korean description at the back of the metal case.

Burberry Make Up - Eyes Review: Make Up

Review: Effortless Eye Definition with Burberry Beauty Complete Eye Palette #Pink Taupe No.07

Although I own Burberry’s single eyeshadow (Sheer Eye Shadow) but it was too beautiful to swatch or even use. In fact all my Burberry palette are still untouched as I’m typing this review. I know eventually I would need to start using it but at the moment let me admire it for slightly longer aight?

However…I couldn’t stand staring at the latest Burberry Beauty Complete Eye Palette #Pink Taupe No.07 so I started using it as soon as I taken the product shot needed. This whole week I only put on the eyeshadow from this palette and nothing else :).

Let me refresh your mind just a little bit. Burberry Beauty Complete Eye Palette is the first and only 4-color palette from Burberry. All these while Burberry Beauty only releases single eyeshadow. For someone who like to use 4 to 5 colors each use, the latest 4-color palette is much more economical for me.

The palette shade that I have is Pink Taupe No.07. Which is exactly what I’m going to review today.

Burberry89
Each palette comes in a black velvet pouch with the iconic Burberry check print on. This particular velvet pouch is different from their usual pouch. It has 3-compartment at the front to cater to the 3-applicators that comes with the palette.

Coffret D'or Kanebo Make Up - Eyes Review: Make Up

Review: Kanebo Coffret D’or Natural Clear Liner; Not-So-Bad Liquid Eyeliner After All

A cheap find at Kanebo Warehouse Sales early this year changed my perception about liquid eyeliner. I only have one liquid eyeliner at the moment while I had tossed away the rest after I bought this. I was told Coffret D’or is retrieving from Malaysia market and will only concentrate on Lunasol which is on the higher range. Coffret D’or in Japan is considered lower range but sells quite expensive in Malaysia previously. The brand has 2 type of liquid eyeliner. One which is non-refillable while another one is refillable. I decided to purchase the non-refillable one since Coffret D’or is retrieving from Malaysia anyway. What if I fell in love with it but couldn’t find the refill anywhere? Wouldn’t it be devastating?

For eyeliner I’d prefer Black color. No exception for Kanebo Coffret D’or Natural Clear Liner which I’ve gotten a BK-28. I never understand Kanebo’s product color code especially the numbering at the back.

The tube is a shiny, silver, mirror long and slim tube. I’m always attracted to this type of packaging as it looked much more nicer than color tube. Just my preference 🙂
