I’ve been pretty excited about this particular Christmas gift for myself and I just picked it up end of last week from a friend. Didn’t know Lancôme came up with a blockbuster set or it’s known as Beauty Box this year until I saw pictures of the box surface on the internet.
Today I’m going to unveil upclose on the content of this year’s Beauty Box which is the first Lancôme set that I ever bought.
Lancôme Beauty Box 2012 comes with a huge shiny gold makeup case. What I don’t like about this case is the fact that I can feel the glitter and being paranoid that it may came off and goes into my eye? So everytime I touch this case I make sure I don’t use my hands to rub my eyes or face.
It’s so big that double zipper is needed :). Love the Lancôme zipper pull. As you can see I’ve yet to take off the plastic cover which covers the zipper pull. I don’t normally tear it off unless I’m using it.
And tadaaaa! Here’s the super pack content!! I notice that UK and Singapore both had different content than Malaysias’. I personally like Malaysia version.
There’s 5 full size item in the set. FIVE! That’s like A LOT for the price of RM250!
First full size is an eyeshadow palette; Color Design Golden Frenzy (Eye Brightening All-in-one 5 Shadow And Liner Palette) 4g.
Next is a full size blusher; Blush Subtil Rose 20 (Multi-Color Powder Blusher) 5g.
My secret favorite eye makeup remover is also included. A full size bottle of Bi-Facil Non Oily – Sensitive Eyes Instant Cleanser 125ml.
Next full size product is UV Expert BB Complete SPF 50 PA+++ 30ml. Not so keen with this so I’m selling this off. Anyone interested email me! lol
Lastly a full size tube of Hypnose Doll Eyes (Doll Lash Effect Wide-Eye Look) 6.5ml.
I love make up brushes. In this limited edition set there’s also a 3-piece brush set together with a brush pouch included. Not so liking the red bristle but I like all the brushes :). Hope they don’t shed color lol.
Here comes an array of deluxe trial size products.
I like these two and it’s also the two products that I’ve been wanting to try from Lancôme. On the left is Genifique Yeux Light-Pearl (Eye-Illuminating Youth Activator) 5ml. Yeap, it’s the eye serum that comes with a bulb pearl applicator that you’ve seen on the internet. On the right is Visionnaire (Advanced Skin Corrector Wrinkles – Pores – Evenness) 7ml. I’ve heard so many good raves about this. If it’s good I can consider to splurge RM295 for the full size next year.
Next I have Genifique Yeux (Youth Activating Eye Concentrate) 5ml on the left and Maqui Blanc Miracle PO-03 (Natural Brightening Creator) 5ml on the right.
Two trial size lipstick is also included. On the left is L’Absolu Rouge (Advanced Replenishing & Reshaping Lipcolor Pro-xylane) 363 while on the right is 365. Both is 1.6g.
The last 3 items are Color Fever Gloss (Sensual Vibrant Lipshine) 321 4.5g which I’ll be giving away to the lucky person who buy my BB Cream :), Crayon Khol Noir (Mini Khol Pencil) 0.7g which I’ll be giving away to the lucky person who buy my BB Cream too and Tresor In Love (Vaporisateur – Natural Spray) 5ml which I’m keeping for myself 😛
Really satisfied with this set from Lancôme. Not so happy with what Estee Lauder had to offer this year so didn’t get any. I’m glad this came out just in time before I splurge on other things 🙂

The red bristle brushes look great too, are they natural or synthetic? Such a lovely beauty box that I wonder how Lancome make money for this. Haha, maybe it is the season of giving, so Lancome is giving back to their loyal beauties. You must be very very happy to unbox and discover so many wonderful items inside. Oh, love the perfume too 🙂
I think the brushes are synthetic. The bright red color is a turn off lol. Lancome make money from pushing normal product sales of RM250. This one is just once a year. Estee Lauder do it yearly 🙂
may i know the blusher and eyeshadow palette are same in all beauty box~? cannot pick what we want? :DD

Ahh ok. So what Lancome product did you purchase? This is definitely better and nicer than EL blockbuster set. The Lancome eye shadow looks nice, haha, perhaps a more affordable replacement for Guerlain Liu palette 😛 Have fun using this beauty box set 🙂 I am not sure what Lancome product to purchase in order to buy this beauty box. Somemore you said they’re almost out of stock everywhere! Hot item 🙂
Actually I didn’t purchase any product. My friend purchase the set for me so I guess she bought a lot hehe. I’m fortunate not needing to spend RM500 or more 😛
I still prefer Guerlain palette but not the Liu palette. Don’t like lipstick in a pan lol. But the palettes are better than EL.
For Lancome, you can get a toner and an eye cream. That will conclude to RM250 roughly. Or just get the Visionaire!
I like the eye makeup remover, it works pretty well. However the case really turns me off, it’s too huge and the color is not attractive to me 😛
