Today I’m going to revamp and repost one of my previous review on EVE Lom Kiss Mix which was originally posted on 8th October 2012.
I’ve always wanted to retake picture for Kiss Mix but only managed to do it now. Perhaps we can move towards the end of the week with something cute. EVE LOM Kiss Mix is still my current favorite item and I couldn’t stop dabbing it on my lips. Although this lip balm is a cutie, it is extremely hard to photograph!
EVE LOM Kiss Mix is a lip balm in a pot in short. I don’t know about you but I love EVE LOM packaging very much. It’s simple, clean but luxurious looking. Rip open the plastic protector on the outside of the box, open the box and I find a thin corrugated protector box inside. On the inside of the actual box is where I find the brand EVE LOM printed all over. Cute.
This is what I called luxury in a tiny pot. It’s made from luxurious blend of active extracts such as Menthol (to cool and freshen) and Beeswax (seals in moisture for longer hydration). Maybe because of the price tag for this cutie…everytime I unscrew the cap I feel happy and couldn’t wait to swipe it on my lips. The balm is in white. I mean really really white until my camera couldn’t capture the lip balm itself!
For some reason Kiss Mix has this pearlised sheen on it. It’s not shimmer. Just sheen.
It’s pearlised sheen makes the balm extra shiny, highly moisturizing, protective and cooling lip treatment. It is very creamy and thick. A little goes a long way. I like to put on a thick layer before I go to sleep. The cooling minty sensation on my lips calms me down and I woke up with moisturized lips.
After you applied Kiss Mix on your lips, immediately you’d feel the menthol cooling sensation. At first I thought it will be uncomfortable but I was wrong. The cooling sensation is extremely comfortable and I feel relaxed immediately. So relax that I felt sleepy! Bear in mind the cooling sensation doesn’t went off immediately. It’s really lasting. Just thought you might wanna know.
Some people may not like the fact that this comes in a pot due to hygiene issue. I am particular with hygiene too but since I’m using the lip balm alone I don’t mind dipping my fingers in it. However if you plan to do the same please make sure your fingers are clean ya.
Here is the Before and After picture. I was told that it’s even more shiny and prettier if you apply lip gloss on top of Kiss Mix. I’m not a lip gloss girl so lipstick is for me. If you are using Kiss Mix alone you need not to apply a thick layer. It’s very thick and shiny so you might ended up with white lips hehe.
Here’s a tip. Apply Kiss Mix before applying darker lipstick on. I prefer Dior Addict Extreme personally. Your lips will look more pouty, smooth and kissable!

Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Cera Microcristallina (Microcrystalline Wax), Menthol, Zinc Oxide, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.
Use it any way you want it. On bare lips on its own to give them a subtle, glossy finish, as base before lip gloss or lipstick and over lipstick to add moisture and sheen. Whichever way you prefer.

Looks glossy to me even without the lipstick. I saw the counter last week when I was there but the BA wasn’t around. I took a peek at their products though. Still searching high and low for THE perfect lip gloss.
Yeap! It’s really glossy. Most of the time I wore it on it’s own but not too thick otherwise will looked ghost white 🙂
My only gripe about this lip balm is it’s in a pot. I have to dip my finger into the pot. Not recommended unless at home.
Or in the office :). For me I don’t mind cause this is colorless ;). I’m not worried if I applied out of line. Those with colors are a bit troublesome.
I don’t mind using it at home because I don’t hold this or that most of the type. It’s definitely cleaner than using it in the office. Most of the time, I have files, documents etc on my table, and touching, holding it, eek, dirty to dip my finger into the pot. The lip balm is not gooey, right? Btw, how do you take care of your lips?
Not gooey. I do lip scrub and apply Eve Lom Kiss Mix before going to sleep. The next morning I’d scrub with Tebe Lip Balm. Before to work I’d apply another layer of Kiss Mix 🙂
Lip scrub product, from which brand? I’ll get the Kiss Mix when I go KLCC.

Your bare lips photo seems like you’re already wearing a pinkish lipstick. Eve Lom Kiss Mix must have indeed worked on you. Hmmm… I’m thinking of trying this one out. But wish they have a roll-on version of it. Thanks for the review.
Hi Susan, whenever I apply Kiss Mix before sleep I woke up soft pinky lips. Unfortunately no roll-on version. It’s creamy…can’t do in a roll though.
This seems to be a good product but it’s really pricey for me though 🙁 I saw their outlet in Pavilion yesterday and it all looks so good,but i didn’t have time to try them on.
Their price is a bit on the high side but once you tried it…you’d understand why he he he
