L’Oreal Professionnel Colour For Life 2013: Nationwide Fundraising Campaign For The Malaysian Aids Foundation (MAF)

color for life logo
Colour for Life, initiated by L’Oreal Professionnel in 2002 for The Malaysian Aids Foundation (MAF) is a nationwide fundraising campaign to give hope and help to children that are infected and affected by HIV. L’Oreal Professionnel cares about the well being of the society we live in, more than just the No, 1 professional salon brand that we know of. Arm with a true objective to ignite the hairdressing industry and providing salon partners the opportunity to be a part of a worthy cause, L’Oreal Professionnel once again takes the lead in championing this worthy and noble cause. This campaign also strives to create awareness and reinforce the idea that each of us, no matter which industry we are in, who we are, where we come from, can in way or another make a difference in the lives of these children. Prior to the success of the past campaign in year of 2002 and 2007, L’Oreal Professionnel had decided to stride and run the campaign again for 2013.

So what’s in for 2013 then? This year L’Oreal Professionnel partnered with their 5 L’Oreal Professionnel Artistic Ambassadors and 5 renowned designers, each a maestro in their own craft to colour the hair of the chosen personalities and to design a t-shirt each for the campaign.

According to Heng Thang Yih, General Manager, Professional Products Division, L’Oreal Malaysia “ It is so wonderful to work with people who are always willing to do their part for a worthy cause especially for the children. We are indeed honoured to have the opportunity to collaborate with Dato Paduka Jimmy Choo Yeang Keat (OBE), Royal Selangor, Tom Abang Saufi, Eric Choong & Winnie Sin. At the same time, we would also like to unite our salon partners and work together with them towards a charitable cause by providing an avenue for them to add colours and make a difference in the lives of the children.”

Discover Your Mythic Secret with The Revolutionary L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Haircare Range

Mythic Oil was created based on the inspiration from Eastern tradition. Many of us didn’t know that oil are nutritive and with protective properties. Actually oil has been widely used in many aspects in the beauty revolution for example one of it is in beauty product since ancient history. From ancient Egypt to Chinese, Japanese and Indian civilizations, many women have turned to precious oils for beauty rituals as well as medicinal and aromatherapy purposes. Women nowadays discovered the secret of precious oil and implement it into daily regime. That include me 🙂

L’Oréal Professionnel begins a journey towards the Far East in order to find further inspiration in its beauty traditions, based on the magic of oils. The first stop inthe search for these precious beauty ingredients is the city of Bizantium, historical bridge between the Western and Eastern cultures.

Hair Care - Hair Vitamin / Oil L'Oréal Review: Hair Care

Review: Jumping Into The Bandwagon of L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil (Nourishing Oil)

I finally got my hands on the iconic L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil (Nourishing Oil) which is suitable for all hair types!

After reading and reading all the good reviews about Mythic Oil I was desperate to get one. With RM100 Zalora cash voucher on hand I browse through Zalora Malaysia site and dang! they only have oil for colored hair and milk which I heard will wear the hair down. So I keep my eyes peeled on Zalora site until a few weeks later my friend told me they FINALLY listed one bottle, that’s right just ONE bottle of L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil (Nourishing Oil). I rushed home and purchased it right away.

My L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil (Nourishing Oil) arrived just 3 days later and I was so excited that I used it on the same day 🙂

According to L’Oreal, this nourishing oil is suitable to be used on all hair types. What I read from various review blogs is that the oil is light and not the heavy oily type. It is made from a blend of avocado oil and grape seed oil. Both are good ingredients by the way.

What L’Oreal claim is that your hair will be instantly more supple, tamed and glossy. It also gave the hair a lightweight feel and finishing. Hmmm, interesting. The oil will instantly absorbed in too meaning the oil doesn’t sit on the hair for long.

First Zalora Online Shopping Experience

Happy Sunday everyone!

I know everybody love to read about shopping haul right? I thought you might be interested with my first Zalora experience today 🙂

I’ve heard so much about bad shopping experience with Zalora. Some parcel took very long to arrive or never arrive, some received different product than what was ordered and many many more. So when I was given a RM100 cash voucher to shop at Zalora, I have a mix feeling. Don’t get me wrong. I was extremely happy to be given a RM100 cash voucher but no doubt I was worried haha.

I had spotted a particular item that I really want from Zalora which is L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil. But all I see is just 2 variant; one for colored hair and another one is milk which is heavier texture. I know Zalora will list new stuff once in a while and a friend; Wendy confirmed that thought too so I had been lingering in Zalora for a few weeks. The last I check is two last Tuesday ago. Nothing. I was about to order some liquid eyeliner and eyebrow pencil but was too tired so I put it on hold. The next day Wendy left me a Facebook message with a link on the latest addition to Zalora while I was on the way home after work. Finally Zalora listed L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil – Nourishing Oil! You have no idea how anxious I am to purchase this because the stock level is only 1 bottle.

I placed my order as soon as I can that night. It is stated that the delivery would be within 2 business days if ordered before 4:30pm (3 days for East Malaysia). Crap. It’s already way past 4.30pm so I’m estimating maybe 3 – 4 days? Then on Saturday morning I received a surprise parcel from GDex. My parcel finally arrived. I was right. It’s 3 days delivery. I’m surprised with the Christmas box packaging. I didn’t know that Zalora had their packing according to festive. What a pleasant surprise. First time buying. Noob. Don’t blame me lol.

Bioré L'Oréal Make Up - Remover Purederm Review: Make Up Simple

Budget Buy – Eye & Face Make-up Removers

A few weeks ago I asked you a question in Facebook if you are willing to spend on expensive makeup remover and most of you said you’re not willing to. There’s a reason behind the question actually. A year ago not only I’m not willing to spend on expensive skin care and makeup I definitely won’t splurge on makeup removers. After spending so much on expensive makeup removers I’m cutting down a bit on the splurge side while implementing some budget buy in.

I’ve grabbed some of the best budget makeup removers from a local drugstore; Watsons that I’ve tried previously. Here’s what I think.
