L'Occitane Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Whitening

L’Occitane Reine Blanche Whitening Rich Cream Has Been Making Me Leaving The House Without Any Makeup On

L'Occitane Reine Blanche Whitening Rich Cream 1
While I am still on the whitening Olympic game, I also took on the L’Occitane (pronounced as “LOX-EE-TAHN” for those who still scratching head on how to pronounce the brand name) challenge on trying out their new addition, Reine Blanche Whitening Rich Cream, which is now a part of the Reine Blanche range that was launched 2 years ago. Reine Blanche range was launched with 6 products. This year, L’Occitane added another additional 3 products into the range.

P/S: I don’t think I will ever be off the whitening bandwagon just FYI lol 😛

Clarins Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Whitening

The 2017 Whitening Olympic Starts with Clarins White Plus Pure Translucency Range

Clarins White Plus Pure Translucency 1
There are three skincare range I am into and using daily – anti-aging (a must!), hydration and of course, whitening is pretty standard. Asians are into having a fairer skin. That is not the case for me. I love my tan skin! I only started dabbing my toes into whitening because I wanted to lighten my acne marks.

I have been with Clarins since 2010. And I have been on their whitening bandwagon at the same time I started Clarins skincare journey. Now enter the new White Plus Pure Translucency era. In 2016, Clarins launched Tri-Intensive Brightening Serum. And now, this new range completes the whole regimen with Purify, Prepare, Correct, Embellish and Revive steps.

Hada Labo Kiwamizu Lotion 1
I remember a few months ago I was casually browsing at Watsons Kajang and I stopped briefly because I saw this Hada Labo Kiwamizu Lotion on the shelf and I was curious at it. I do not remember Hada Labo having such product so I assumed it was new. Yeap. It is new alright.

The Face Inc Primer Mist: To Set Makeup With an Instant Hydration Boost and for On-The-Go Mist

The Face Inc Primer Mist 1
My friend Carol kept telling me that The Face Inc Primer Mist is a face primer. I remember stalking The Face Inc on Instagram for a few weeks before that and there was no mention that this The Face Inc Primer Mist is a primer in a mist form. I could have missed something, I don’t know so now, as I am typing away for the review, I am looking at the product little booklet and I know why my friend said it is a face primer. The recommended best to use method is to mist all over the face before makeup as it provides instant hydration boost of up to 15 times. Hence it is named as primer mist. But that is not all.

Battle of The Hada Labo Whitening Water Gel and Lifting + Firming 3D Perfect Gel

Hada Labo Gel Battle 1
What do you do when Hada Labo released two different gel close at the same time? You do THE BATTLE OF THE HADA LABO GEL of course! 😀 . Rather than the usual one by one product talk-through and making your life harder referring to different pages on which gel to get, I thought why not combine two of the gel and show you what is the difference? This way you will get a clearer idea on which gel to get that is suitable for your skin need 😉

Avène Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Cleanser Skin Care - Face Mist Skin Care - Hydrating Skin Care - Sunblock/Sunscreen Skin Care - Toner

Rediscovering and A Stroll Down Memory Lane to My First Ever Skincare Brand; Eau Thermale Avène + My Current 5-Step Skincare Routine

Avene More Than Just Water
Here is a major throwback. Eau Thermale Avène; my first ever full set skincare products that I bought when I was 19 years old. I still remember the day I brought a few hundred ringgit with me to Mid Valley. I headed to Guardian and I stood in front of Avène shelf. The lady who attended to me was super nice. That day I decided to get a full range of Avène to treat my acne skin. I cannot remember how I get to know Avène but it was probably from sampling exercise prior before that. And I remember I paid RM400+, went home with tons of products and samples. Mind you Avène samples are in mini tubes and bottles, not sachets. At that time, splurging a few hundred on skincare is considered a lot for a 19 year old. But I did it anyway. It was my first skincare. I even mentioned about my first love in this review post on Avène Sérénage Nutri-Redensifying Vital Serum & Day Cream! 😀
