A Peep into My Beauty Storage + A New Beauty Organizer Purchase

As fast as I get bored with using the same product, I get bored with how I store my beauty products as well. Truth be told, I spring clean my room once a month and rearrange all my beauty products every quarter. Usually everything is not in it’s original placement by the first month and by the time I hit the third month, I have stuff on my work table, on the floor next to my chair, next to the vanity table and so on. Time for another rearrangement again. Just in time as the rotating organizer I begged a friend to bring back from oversea arrived.

Here’s my latest and most exciting purchase. I’m not even a bit less excited just because it’s an inspired version as my friend said the original version ran out of stock in the US and this is the best she can get for me. Oh well, cheaper and it works so why not 😀

First, let’s take a peep into my vanity table. I wish I’m into beauty when I’m younger so that I can plan for a bigger space. When I’m younger I’m married to my job so my work table is bigger and complete with all the office essentials. I also clean my work space frequently while ignoring my vanity table, because I wasn’t into beauty that much.

Tips: Beauty Products Shelf Life After Opening

I feel like doing a tips post right NOW 😀 . Random, I know.

This is another episode on getting to know your beauty products, understand them and getting the best out of them. When I said “getting the best out of them” I do mean the product shelf life after opening. You know how most of us will just crack open a brand new jar of moisturiser and then forget about it until it went bad? So yeah, that one.

Tips: How To Achieve a Soft and Smooth Heels

Oh man. I seems to be hit by one problem follow by another one and another one. Not sure if you ever heard about this myth before, I used to hear about people getting cracked heels from wearing strappy high heels often. Okay, here’s the thing. I’ve been wearing strappy high heels all my life. Nope. I don’t find my foot to be drier than usual nor do I suffer any cracked heels. Then I develop a new profound love for pumps so I stopped wearing strappy high heels. But because I have rather large foot, narrow pump hurt my toes a lot. So once in a while I take a breather or rather a break from pump to strappy high heels.

A few months ago I notice that my foot is rather err…ugly, dry and cracked. I asked my mum if this is cracked heels and mum said “oh yeah, that’s certainly cracked heels”. I panicked, then I make my brain work overtime for a home solution. Lucky for me, I have the tools at home, tried one very simple solution and it works well on me. Here’s my version of achieving a soft and smooth heels.

Know Your Skin Care: Period After Opening (PAO)

Welcome to another edition of Know Your Skin Care 😀

I was suppose to blog about this moons ago and as usual, I’ve forgotten about it 🙁 . Previously I talk about the colored square box that was found on the top edge crimp behind most skin care or product tubes. If you’ve missed it you can click on the link here to read more on it.

On a typical skin care bottle you will find a few symbol at the back of the bottle, usually at the most bottom of the bottle or jar. One distinctive symbol that most people mislook is the interesting looking jar with a lid half opened. This little jar is called Period After Opening (PAO) symbol.

Fashion Tips: How To Stretch Your Shoe

How To Stretch Your Shoe 1
Ever bought a new pair of shoe that are tight or half a size smaller?

Recently I bought *counting* five pairs of shoes from the recent FJ Benjamin warehouse sales and two out of the five pairs are pumps. I’ve always adore GUESS shoes although their shoes could be quite high and slim for my fatty feet :D. All along I assume imported brands is larger in size but I couldn’t even fit into my usual Size 7! Warehouse sales could be a bit troublesome to ask for shoe to try so I ended up with Size 7.5 after I fail to fit in Size 7.

Fortunately for me I accidentally came across a tutorial from Michelle Phan on how to expand or stretch new shoe so I tried it on my “zebra” pumps and it works! I thought you might want to know this trick too so here’s my version on How To Stretch Your Shoe 😉
